i'm not sure. but a few times i met this situation. what i did: i formatted sd with panasonic sd formatter and put it to mobile-then flashed mgldr-flashed a new cwm partition. and my phone saw it.
maybe it is related to the version of cwm. lately i use 3.0.2.5 or 4.0.1.4 with no problem.

Have you tried to use a card reader, or are you trying to mount the card while still in the phone?
Try with an external card reader.

To be honest, I don't really know that much, still learning. I uses SDFormatter, which loads the SD card from my pc. Tried reformatting with that, but still nothing.....
did you try putting wm 7 on it recently?
No I didn't......
here's what i usually do if i have any issues... Load up android... go into your settings and storage. Unmount your SD card, then "format" it using the option in the settings. Once its complete. Remount... then reboot your phone.
Also if it won't let you remount, just reboot your phone after formatting completes, then remount it and reboot again.

When you use SD formatter keep Full Erase (ON) and Format Size adjustment to ON...

200 MB on SD card?

Can some one tell me what happened? I've installed android to nand memory and now my sd card only shows 200 mg of space, I took some pictures and now is full, where did my 16gb go? Can someone help me find a solution? Thank you for your help.
No one knows, since you provide 0 information. You can also just check it yourself by examining your sd card in your pc.

thanks for nothing....here is the information, installed android on HD2 on nand memory like the instructions here now it shows 200mb, can someone really help me find out where the rest of the gb went?
can you link the instructions you followed to install nand? also did you partition your sd card correctly? you can double check to see how your sd card is partitioned by using this free program. if i had to take a guess it would seem you have partitioned your sd card backwards but there is little info to go by so its really a stab in the dark.
had wp7 installed before? wp7 formats all your sd card to some weird wp7 only format, leaving just 200gb as normal, readable space.

Do you know how to fix it?
format your sd card with panasonic sd formatter in your pc.'cause i had the same thing before, and solved this way.
i would backup your sd card to your computer and then once you have backed it up format it with what ever partition manager you like. i personally use minitool 6 which i posted on post 4. then place a fresh copy of android on your sd and flash as normal. dont forget to wipe date/cache/delvic. i cant say for sure if this would fix the problem but i have noticed this simple process fix some of the problems i've had in the past.

You don`t need CWM, just MAGLDR. Then you can choose folder on SD card to boot your android.

[Q] Help! is it possible to flash any android version without card reader?

my microsd card reader is not working, and I've accidentaly deleted my CM7 in recovery.....
please tell me how to flash now another cm7 without external memory
thanks!
It's not going to happen. Where would it be stored? You are sure it's the card reader and not your SD card?
Edit: Your only chance would be fixing the card reader. A member on here, deadman96385 I believe, did surgery on his and fixed it.

thanks, but following that method I still need the sd card. or is it possible to push a ROM to phone memory and then to flash it from there?
(sorry my language)
The reason it doesn't work on our phone is because the internal memory is not a mountable partition. It's not possible to change this. Even if you put the zip on the system partition, there would be no way of flashing it because we don't have a recovery that can to that

SD card mount problem in recovery

hi to all,
i have a problem with mounting sd card in recovery. I tried to change recovery (CWM--->TWRP) but every time i try to install a package it said "can't mount sd card" or something like that. I tried with other sd card (kingston, transcend, toshiba, a-date) and only a few works and I don't know why.
Can someone help me, please?
P.S.
I tried also with different file system but nothing

I tried to boot in android and the reboot in recovery and I tried also to boot in recovery and then reboot in recovery but nothing. Few times it worked, but now it doesn't work anymore
P.S.
When I boot in android always it says "empty card or unsopported filesystem" but all works normally.
P.P.S.
I have rittik v 2.0
use only cwm 5.0.2.7 .Its the only one with no bugs.Except that you have to reboot recovery before flashing a zip,but thats no big deal.
5.0.2.7 is pretty good but 6.0.1.5 (I think) has no problems.
Bronxitas posted a zip for a fixed 5.0.2.7
On to the top issue, try booting into recovery while plugged into a computer/power supply.
Take out the battery and sd card.
Then reboot recovery. Put in the sd card and battery.
Reboot recovery again. There.
Note: before you do this, check your mounts to make sure emmc and sdcard is enabled.

i had pretty major problems with 6.0.1.5 like not even recognizing my sd card! (16gb class 10)
And i think it uses a different folder structure than 5.0.2.7 when creating back ups.If i remember correctly someone was trying to restore or open a specific file from a 6.0.1.5 backup and he couldn't because of new compression method used or something?

korekore1 are SD cards divided in classes? That means the higher the better? What's the biggest class for an SD card? Is this guy using a -51? People with the -51 have reported SD Mount problems in recovery.

You can change the backup selections as Pika said once in some option in 6.0.1.5 to restore the 5.0.2.7 backup but you have to change the way the restore is saved: tar, etc...

Yes and no, Class 4 and Class 10 are often the most common and recommended sd cards. Class 10 editions are newer to the market whereas class 4 has been here for a while. Class 10 achieves a faster R/W speed but class 4 is recommended for the novice user:
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2388408,00.asp
No one with the -51 reported any mounting errors. I would know if they did... Please don't assume anything unless you have one.
The hardware tree is virtually identical to the pro with the exception of wifi and bluetooth as well as processor.

not even before flashing zips with 5.0.2.7?You don't have to reboot recovery?
yesterday i tried to format a 512MB sd card in fat32 with default value and then i copied the zip file i had to flash on the sd card, i insert it in the phone then restarted in recovery and TWRP found it :victory:
the sd card doesn't have anything special, i don't know if it's for something i did...

I'm using TWRP since 15th April.
My sdcard jack was replaced on 18th April.
So.... I've tested "only" TWRP with the new jack.
Earlier (with the old jack) even TWRP also needed rebooting to actually read the sdcard..
My PC is not working, so I can't dare to test other recoveries.
