Here is samsung system dump its got some good apk's in there if you need them
This is the I/O version dump
just thought i would post it at xda
I hope someone can do something with this!

It seems that it was dumped from the i/o device (it's older than current galaxy tab 10.1)
And we've got Virtuous Galaxy roms, that are based on much newer firmwares from current gtab 10.1.

Would it be possible to like switch out like galaxy tab 10.1's system dump and put on the acer iconia, or is that what a rom is

Hello xda's
i love this forum and my galaxy tab. Iam just a nob from germany but i really want to have gingerbread on my tab before sumsung lunches it.
Is there a possibility to do it with NAND?
Is somebody working on gingerbread for galxy tab. Would be nice to hear about.
Is there a posibillity to overclock the galaxy tab?
Sorry for my bad english.

Why? I doubt the tab will get gingerbread since honeycomb is better suited to the screen

Hi, the Galaxy Tab was released in Italy today and it is shipped with TouchWiz. Hope there is news for the rest of us, soon. My first impression is that it is much faster than people have expected TouchWiz to be.

What's the build number and kernel version?

should there be any difference compared to the the US with no TouchWiz?
I think flash works fine on the pages I tested. No problems with medium or high quality. But it works best on the YouTube desktop page where you can run 720p
And this is on a US wifi-only
Did you guys in Italy get the usb-adapter like we in sweden got?
Unfortunately I don't know since I have a US-model myself as I could not wait

So Samsung already has a final release version of touchwiz and it is not available as a update still?
There is no carrier involved here, the only delay i can see is getting the update servers ready to push the update. It shouldn't take that long if they wish, lets see how long we have to wait.
hi, kind of funny really and I don't understand this policy neither...let's just wait and hope something good might happen soon...
guys I have an italian version of the galaxy tab 10.1 +3g with tuch wiz and all the stuff... if u have any questions ask me =)
Get a dump of the system so devs can port it over for all of us to get.

Is this a link to the TouchWiz rom for the 10.1 slim?
is the bootloader locked or unlocked on italian touchwiz devices?
will it be possible to flash custom kernels in future if it`s locked?

Italian or not, there should be options within the ROM to change language to English or whatever, right?
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

It's a leaked version of 2.3.4, and the main reason it's such a big deal for the SGS2 is that it's meant to deal with a few issues that some users are having, mainly to do with battery life and the "Android OS" taking up so much of it.
It's actually not in a fit state at the moment and most people are staying away from it.
2.3 in general is working great on the tab, so don't be too eager to get a newer version. It probably won't make any noticeable difference.

Not sure why you say it is not in a fit state, I have been using the stock 2.3.4 since release, and it has no more issues than 2.3.3, if anything it is better.
It does not seem to fix the android OS battery leak, although that is apparently a samsung driver issue anyway.

That since they are both tegra 2 it is possible we could get it ported over

Also to me it means that they were able to get the Radio enabled in ICS for Mobile Data, whereas it's still being worked on w/ the current ICS builds for the Xoom.
And hoping once it's up and running on the Galaxy Tab the port time to the Xoom should be minimal.

Good news, I suppose, after Samsung stated that they would NOT release ICS roms for the Galaxy S (I9000) or Galaxy Tab (P1000), so all we can look forward too is the Value Pack upgrade.
I have installed the Value Pack Rom on my Samsung Galaxy S (I9000), and it's pretty cool & quick.
what about other countries?

really?
Well...don't have a usable camera in CM9, many bugs, forced closes, restarts and battery usage(it screwed up my battery and had to change it after some CM9 and AOKP flashes). So that's why I prefer the stock rom...
Also, a good version is CM7 Boca...it really moves incredible!!!
Cheers!
