All Working ROMs With PSX4Droid

I tried Tekken 3 and it seems it needs MT and the game is very slow.. i am on rooted 026 ..
So if you guys have PSX4droid and played any nice roms without problem , please report here , so that others can also try...
DEfinetly we need keyboard remapping.. any idea ?

i played ff7 well in psx4droid untill got the submarine, deep into sea lose control can't play at all.
however tried in nexus one and galasy s stuck at the same spot.

I can't get tekken or any fighting games to work, but I have gotten ff tactics, loaded, reloaded, and need for speed high stakes to run flawlessly, mortal kombat trilogy freezes at start screen, soul blade freezes at loading, gta3 won't load cars or avatar, no go at all on twisted metal 2, tekken 3, and one game I can't remember doesn't load.
All I want to work is tekken 3 and I will be happy.

any really good game thaat doesnt need much keys ?

the screen on the x10i
even though i have got the games working fine from bin files. well i say they work fine, sound is perfect on my xperia x10i, but the screen wont fill and stretch the x10i. ive tried all the settings and still nothing. does anyone have ideas of where im going wrong on this? or is it worth rebooting the entire phone to factory standards and starting again?

without multi-touch you cannot play games like psx games on psx4droid or the games which require mlti-touch like football ( 2.1 is required ) so sony X10 is not for playing games, if you wanna enjoy games then go for desire instead ( great phone as compared to X10 trust me ) HTC desire is far better than X10.

nope ur wrong as i been running psx4driod on my x10 for ages fair enough there is no MT but there is a few games that run perfect on it.

@djboxer. do your games on x10 run with the screen filled? or did you have any problems like im having, with the screen not showing properly. as the button layout is fine on screen, but the actual graphics are squashed up in the middle, and ive tried putting the screen settings to stretched and all the others, and its still putting the graphics squashed in the middle. the sound is running fine, just the graphics are strange. and i cant figure it out. has anyone else figured this out?

people, to be able to play games without MT, buy a wiimote and download an app that connects the controller through bluetooh. works FLAWLESSLY

how do you guys play FF7? i'm able to load the game, but just black screen. any help?

brill idea i have to give that a try has many of my games are racing ones i have choice of accelerate or brake pffffft haha

The FF7 I got online was in rar/zip/ecm/bin combination i have to uncompress it to bin file.
I can play FF7 (disc 1), Chrono Cross (disc 1) and SagaFrontier 1 on my X10a. Graphic and video playback are nice but audio is very choppy so I turned it off. Also, it's almost not playable because you cannot multi-touch (you need to press directional key and 1 button to 'run') on those games, without it, the characters are walking in snail speed...

Ive tried playing grand turismo. had 2 different downloads and both had an issue,first one didnt go forward at all and the second one the car can only get up to around 10mph..... the accelrometer works nice with the racing type games but need to find one that actualy works

Hi i think mt for playing psx games would be awsome but: in fact i ve played psx games on my touch diamond and yoused my own psx games and they worked fine. Only reasen why games werent enjoyable: 10 frams/s and okay the diamond has few more hardware buttons but great for final burn for example

If you're having trouble with FF7 in the underwater bit, I read in other forums that you can't get past it using the psx4droid app. Apparently you need to do that part on a PSX PC emulator then save the save game file back on to your psx4droid folder, doesn't seem to be any other way around it

i`m playing diablo 1 mostly because i dont need the mt ... like in the other games ... and mostly i`m looking for games witch dont need the use of mt to be played

Gran Turismo 2 : Works perfectly
GTA 1 : Works perfectly
GTA 2 : Works perfectly
NFS 3 Hot Pursuit : Works perfectly
NFS 4 High Stakes : Works perfectly
Tekken 3 : Not working at all.
Gonna try this evening : Resident Evil series.
BTW : For those that complain of multitouch,ican play ALL games without any problem...how ? Using the hardware buttons.
You just put the "Back" button as the "X", and the "Focus"(Yes the camera button) as the "Square", and you can play almost all the games without anykind of problem,specially driving games.
So for those who complain of MT : Yes its nice but NOT a "Cant live without it".
And for those who say Desire is better : Why are ya here? The X10 can be a LOADS nicer,smoother and better device than the Desire if you tweak it nicely,so shush.

Fpse or PSX4droid on ICONIA?

Cannot get either to work, they both crash any time I try playing a game. Has any successfully played either of these emulators without a problem on the Iconia A500? If so, please share how, what version emulator, so forth..

Nope. I've tried both and had no success Apparently others have got them working though - might be the specific rom that you're (we're) trying

Ive tested different roms on both emulators & both force close. If anyone has successfully please post up. Links are welcomed

could you please be more specific.. what version are you using? where did you get the roms? bios? this is a plea for help!

I use FPSE as I haven't had any luck with PSX4DROID. FPSE, I have the most current version 10.55? Games load and play fine for the most part with the exception of sound which is slightly choppy. For example, Chrono Cross which has one of my favourite opening songs plays choppy, regardless of settings.
PSX4DROID force closes regardless of title.

I'm using psxdroid 3.0.6 and have tried scph1000, scph1001 and psxbios to try and play resident evil directors cut. But It keeps crashing

So far I have only found one version of psx4droid that works and that's "psx4droid v2 1.1.2" using SCPH1001, and it works fine work me with wiimote app. Fpse in my opinion would be great because it does work but doesn't support wiimote not willing to spend 60 beans on a controller when I have one.

[Q] can adjusting density fix force close errors with apps/games?

i tried installing blast monkeys the other day but was unable to play it as it was ending unexpectedly every time i tried to load it. i was just wondering whether the density has any effect on apps/games running at all???
if not is there any way to get these to work on the wildfire?

Not really, and by reading about it, it seems some members experience more FC's when using density hacks.
Probably the Wildfire doesn't meet the game's minimum hardware requirements. (Just speculating, since I haven't heard about it)

thats a shame. i was hoping the zynga poker app would work as well, but of course being a game that uses flash and having a phone that doesn't support it...

Also i got another problem,same like the above, but it is for angrybirds 1.4, where the game loads into a screen showing only a quarter part of the splash screen of the game,so i tried to free up more ram, over clocked processor to 710 mhz, etc. Bt nothing helped, bt the game loads cool in sg mini with 600 mhz processor, so i tried every way,even changed the rom,just to find a way 2 make it work. And i had done it, load the game-stuck in quarter splash-sleep down the device by pressing power button-wake up again-viola,the game continues in fullscreen, played cool with native processor speed,
Now abot changing density, i changed it to 110, where original is 120,rebooted, now the screen images and contents are little small, the only app that force close is adobe reader ,so i reinstall it after wiping dalvic cache, but still problem remains, so i updated it from market,and the problem is solved,the another issue i have is with native htc clicker and htc ime,which i use more than android keyboard, it fills only about 80% of the screen, i am trying to make it fullscreen.
I am using cm7.0.3 stable, oc kernal,latest radio, about 40+ app,and a2ad script. All together itz cool.

The Dark Knight Rises Lags so much

So I got "The Dark Knight Rises" game from Google play. Took me quite a long time to download. But it was just the beginning of my problems. The game lags so much to the point that it freezes during gameplay and force closes. I have tried using chainfire 3D and loaded Tegra plug-in and tried playing but no joy. So after paying around $ 7.00 for this supposedly awesome game, I am not even able to play it. I can't even ask for a refund. Has anybody downloaded this game and played on our 7.7? Any suggestion on how to make it lag free? I have used System tuner Pro and killed almost all except for the required tasks. I have uninstalled so many of my favorite games and apps just so that I could play this game. I am all ear to all the suggestions for a better gameplay.
I am still using android 3.2 though my phone is rooted.

Nope. The game itself is buggy and/or not written well to support our processor. I've tried it on my sgs2 as well and same results.

same here..it lags a lot on S2..i mean whats the damn use...all open world heavy games lag on S2..gangstar rio city, batman, amazing spiderman..

It doesnt lag too much..but the fps does drop at many places..same was in gangstar rio city.. :|

I don't know why, but Asphalt 7 keeps turning back to control 0. That means I can't drive using the accelerometer

AirAttack HD 1.4.1: Perfect
Pinball Arcade Free 1.8.0: Perfect
Virtua Tennis Challenge 4.0: Perfect
Wild Blood 1.1.0: Some framerate drops
Asphalt 7 1.0.3: Perfect. Acceleration is automatic-only in this 1.0.3 version. Not rom related.
Dead Trigger 1.6.1: Some lag with graphics setting in high. Perfect with medium or low.

The idea is to make a list of games that do not work, or that work but not quite right.
Since most games are running, that no,
And it would make a long list adding all that do work. So mention the games that are not on the list and that work is because they go to 100% lagfree.
But not like the others who want to go where they operate commenting perfect

Since last appearing in Google Play is the v1.0.9,

Understood. It wasn't intended.
Anyway it's not easy to believe that if a game it's not in the list it's because it works perfectly. I mean there could be a doubt about if some game was tested or not. But it's a valid point.

They released 1.1.0 version in Gameloft web (wapshop) last week.

You're right, I've been testing and I can not get into the game returns me to the main screen of the game, now I'm going to add to the list until your compatibiliad future reports.

Fpse doesn't work for me...
Sound is out but video doesn't, never face this on CM 9, I use the old fpse one...

I am using the version v0.11.69, without frameskip enabled or anything, just as is the default framelimiter and excellent work on this rom. What version of FPSE you??

At this moment the game requires a phone/tablet with 1 GB of RAM at least. I really wish to support xperia play devices, but unfortunately right now I don't have this phone to optimize the game for it.

I use v0.10.61, it runs great on GB n CM 9, but in this ROM video doesn't out with same setting...

Modern Combat 4 (leaked version) worked fine for me on Gingerbread, and also works well on ICS (By Markphyton) but you'd better delete them from the list as they are not official versions, and there may be confusion among users.

Downloaded the latest version of The Amazing spiderman, works fine if you use the hard buttons, but when you go touch pads its gets really laggy and freezes then restarts the phone entirely, i'll keep testing. I use Markphyton ICS rom

please specify! Which version you installed to The Amazing Spiderman? google 1.1.7 of the play? Wapshop or from Gameloft?

okay, confirm continued to lag, (whether overclocked or not) and will update the list with your report.

Ok so i overclocked to 1.6 max and 500mgz smartassv2 and noop but still laggy,it stopped system freeze (when game hooks up i can now press home without it restarting my play), i decided to uninstall maybe i'll try with an older version
