I do believe this will be my next phone. I don't know about anyone else, but I miss the option of using a stylus from my WinMo days.
I probably won't use the stylus at all but this will also be my next phone. Hopefully they surprise us and release it before Christmas!

I won't buy it when it is first launched to be sure that the phone does not have any problems like the T-mobile G2x,HTC Thunderbolt or other phones. I'll wait some time and read the users's comments before proceeding with the purchase, but I will definitely buy this phone!! It was a very long time since I am this eager to buy a phone! The Note seems to have everything a tech geek wished a phone to have!
What about the CDMA version? I remember one press release stated an LTE version and with Sprints announcement of switching to LTE biginning of 2012, I am crossing my fingers they get the Note because I really want that phone!

So i filed a claim through asurion yesterday to replace my stolen phone and they told me that they no longer support the vibrant model and that they were going to upgrade me to a new model at the same deductible. it looks like there are no more vibrants through insurance. i will definitely miss my vibrant =(
Not good!!! Looks like ill be lookin on craigs list
Can you let us know which phone they send? Thank you.

Most likely the sgs 4g
Ya let's us know dude!

it should come in tomorrow so ill let you guys know
wonder about through tmobile? i'm still within one year...might get a 4g for the hell of it.
Interesting thread. I purchased my Vibrant the 1st week when it released, and I bought the insurance. The T-Mobile rep told me that "when" they stopped supporting the Vibrant, ill get an updraged phone, if I pay the $100 bucks for the deductible. YES, they used that as a sales pitch to get me to buy the insurance.
Now, I use a G2, but my wife has my Vibrant. It will be interesting to know what they send you.

They usually only let you select older phones
I'm curious to hear back what you get, I have two Vibrants......
So my phones lost right now. Thanks to ups. But I called and they're sending out a galaxy 4g

I got a new Vibrant through T-Mo just a few weeks ago. (GPS on it is great, btw.)
I think it's crazy that a year old device is already "unsupported." WTH?
yeah shows that tmobile really only cares about profits. this makes me think that the vibrant is not going to get any more updates. very sad. makes me really hesitate about buying phones from tmobile if they are not too worried about support
Yeah, the fact that Tmobile no longer supports a year old phone is the reason why I'm seriously considering buying the Galaxy Nexus out of contract even though I am not pleased with the features they released. I would much rather wait for the new Galaxy and a higher res screen but I don't want to take the risk of having support for that dropped too.
I did a warranty claim b/c my phone was not charging, i got a vibrant S and not a Vibrant 4gS....
Read my first post in detail brah. Mine was through insurance. Not warranty

I'm actually kind of bummed about the galaxy s 4g. There's no internal memory card, no CyanogenMod, and there are a lot more roms and modifications on the for the vibrant. The front facing camera is a neat addition but i hardly ever use it. I dont really see a difference as far as the 4g modem. It's pretty much the same for day to day usage for me.

The atrix was announced at CES 2011, then passed FCC on the 21. Sound familiar? I expect a release of the note around the 22nd next month. To think sooner is just being hopeful. Hope this helps.

Confabulation, is a term to describe this.
DEF: 2 Psychiatry... fabricate imaginary experiences as compensation for loss of memory or knowledge.
fits eh?
I think I have a soft spot for the best devices coming from CES. I got the Atrix on release day because it looked like the nicest phone coming out. Turns out the locked bootloader totally killed development for it and we were stuck with Froyo for a couple months. I'll be getting the Note on release day, and I hope Development for it will take off.

i agree, it was slow at first, but i gotta say, all these new phones coming out, this is the first one to me that actually feels like an upgrade. i really injoyed/injoy my atrix.
As a point of reference the Atrix 4g received FCC approval about this same time last year and was released the last week of Feb. Pre-orders for it started in the 1st half of Feb.
They are starting to get the promotional items for it now at the att store. so look for a release at the end of February. Its also on the att site for early 2012.

Hey everyone,
Just wondering if people have an idea of how long they'll stay with there Epic? I don't think I've ever loved a phone as much as I love this one but I'm sure I'll be tempted away by something new this summer when my renewal credit is up.
What about you?
Whenever quadcore lte phones roll out ill be upgrading ..... I actually have a two year upgrade though its only been a year which was very tempting but I can wait

I'm eligible now. Just waiting for something good.

This phone has had such great staying power so far..it does just a little bit of everything just good enough that i'm not tempted to change one bit yet. The only reason for me to change is improved hardware/design plus I think I'm ready to ditch the KB.

Samsung Note LTE for sprint or a quadcore.. whichever I fall in love with first!
Waiting on SGS3. Eligible in July. May just go for the Nexus if the 3 looks like a long wait on Sprint, though.
Waiting for LTE with a hardware keyboard... just don't like the idea of using up all my screen with a keyboard.
I may be waiting forever because these cheap manufacturers don't want to make them anymore.

This.
I think I can wait another year for my next phone. Hopefully we'll have LTE here and there will be a decent LTE phone for sprint.

I just got the epic last week. Running it on virgin mobile. Can't beat $25 bucks a month
Ill probably run the epic for another year or so. Its a still a great phone and a big upgrade compared to my old optimistic v.
I am still getting a Google phone... like I said before, I don't want to be pissed off by samsung's lack if updates, closed source ROM, or HTCs locked bootloaders. I would actually like a Google phone on stock... I don't care if there is 65 core... single core is fast enough and dual core is amazing. Higher on a mobile phone is just stupid until software advances.

The Epic its the first phone that I've had for more than six months and not thought " I REALLY want a new phone!" It's been almost a year and a half now. I might upgrade to the G Nex if/ when out comes to Sprint or a quad core lte...
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda premium
I see little reason to upgrade to something else until LTE is deployed in my area now that CM9 is on the horizon.
I might finally be ready for a phone without a keyboard. The Galaxy Nexus keeps calling me.
I will never get rid of my epic but if sprint gets galaxy note2 I will have to upgrade and keep epic for fun. Even better would be a nexus note.

I've been promoting the galaxy S III for a lil bit now. Its gona be a monster, and the next phone I buy.
Question is, how long will it take for Sprint to get it.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA
i want them to get the razor maxx, cause im done with how my evos battery just vanishes, although i do love my evo!
I just read that the galaxy nexus is coming out April 15th. Oh....decisions!
Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
That's a tough call. Galaxy Nexus is an amazing phone, and should be available sometime mid april, the 15th if the rumors are accurate. As a launch day Evo 4G owner, I think it's time for an upgrade. On the other hand, the S3 is an even more amazing phone. HTC One X is potentially an amazing phone, but the latest rumors are saying it's only going to have a dual core on Sprint, so not really worth waiting for me. I need to know more before I can make a decision. If no news has come out by the Nexus release, I may just go with that.
Man i'm drooling over the alleged specs of the S3, but just like the rest of you, i'm debating between the Nexus in April and the S3 whenever that happens (i think the latest rumor is middle/end of June?) I really REALLY want some new mobile hardware, but i think the Nexus is old news. I just gotta summon the will power to wait a few more months!
I'm going to wait for the S3 especially if it comes with a 1080 display.

SGS3 is my new phone come July 27th. Who's coming with me?
My contract is up in December, so I'll have to see what prices are then... but that phone looks pretty nifty. Or swag. Or siiiick. (Not sure what the proper term is these days)
I'm in the same boat as guster. 12/1 renewal. I'm gonna hold off and see what is out, then. Or if I can get one on ebay do I don't have to renew. Butt, yes. As things stands now, I definitely want an s 3

Not me!
I will not be buying a samsung phone ever again because of the experience with this one. Samsung does not care about their customers at all. When my upgrade comes I am going to the droid 4
I got one today now I need to start rooting and get some good stuff on it. Sound output from headphone jack is still pretty weak on it. Any one got any recommendations for improvement

Well I'll be starting some development on the SGS3 with some cool stuff involving Microsoft on{X}. I can't wait!
It wasn't Samsung's call not to update the Continuum, it was Verizon's. Samsung actually went behind Verizon's back and leaked us some updates way before Verizon pushed the OTA. I understand the frustration, but focus your anger at the right company.
