HD2 Windows Phone Temperature Issue:

So my HD2 touchscreen stopped working last week. I received my replacement HD2 2 days ago.
Flashed HSPL
Flashed Magldr 1.13
Flashed DFT WPH
I noticed the phone was warm after flashing magldr ( Luke Warm)
Day 1 - Running Windows Phone 7 Installing apps setting up E-Mail (Warm)
Day 2 - PAID for games, the second day I was using the phone, decided to play Fruit Ninja for about 5 minutes. ( HOT)
People are experiencing the same thing in the Android Forum also.
Once again I am not saying this is Magldr, This issue should be addressed and not written off to the second page.
As a community on XDA - I ask everyone with access to Live Services or your means of installing games apps. Install Fruit Ninja and other games, play the game for 5 minutes or so, report back your outcome.
This is a serious issue and must be addressed.

I first thought it was because of the 2.15 radio, so I downgraded to 2.12 but still having this issues, even when I'm on airplane mode it gets very hot while playing games.

As much as I hate to say it. I'll probably just go get the HD7 or Dell Venue Pro.
In the meantime, I'll use my Galaxy Tab for the games.

My HD2 gets very warm only after 40+ min of gaming or 40+ min of heavy IE usage, which it did under WM6.5 with stock ROM also. When I gets warm I just let it cool down on the homescreen for 5 min and go on. I suggest you try a different memory card.

I had same issues with Android (10 custom roms), WP7 (DFT and Moonlight). Now I am on XBmod ROM and averything is working perfect. Now, my device is not HOT anymore, just warm when playing games, 720p video or browsing the internet. Radio is 2.15.50, MAGLDR 1.13, T-Mobile HD2

This issue has absolutely nothing to do with the memory card, I have at least 5 different classes and brands. The information given to you is inaccurate.

DVP to Mango Successful...

I have updated my phone to Mango, moving from NoDo.
Installation took years, however, it was great after to finish...
Apparently the RTM is still not final, at all, XBOX icon need something of work too, the background images inside profile too, etc...
Let's see what happen later, since WP7.5 is only "planned" to be tested in Dell Venue Pro...for now.
First time i changed, i lost signal, i reflashed everything, and worked. Firmware is 218, i think there is a 220 already, not sure... because i had to downgrade...
Its fast as hell... I hope they adopt same for windows pc OS, LOL
I have noted, my phone heat it up a little bit, after update... when i use GPS, increase more... :S damn it

Mine gets heated up pretty bad after the update and when im watching YouTube videos on DVP, it gets laggy sometimes when the phone gets too hot.

I'm using HD2 NAND ROM with Gomiui-v1.10.28 from the last year from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1258175 , but then the developer stopped updating it, because he had no time. Everything works very good on it, except the GPS accuracy. I'm using it for running and there are some problems.
1. Slow update of the current speed. Sometime it takes 4-10 seconds for the speed to update
2. Inaccurate speed - Sometimes the speed is 15 km/h, after 1 sec its 20 km/h, after that its 17 km/h and so on...
Sometimes I want to measure my maximum speed, but when i look at the display when i hit my maximum speed and stop to 0 km/h, its showing 15 km/h, after that 20... 22 and then slowing down. I was measuring my max speed with 3 different programs, when the HD2 was with Windows 6.5 and they all showed around 26 km/h max and it was updating on every second. Since then I'm training and i know i'm faster than 26 km/h now, so there is no way my speed is 22.
Is this a know problem and is there a fix for it, or i should change the ROM

Hmm, i would recommend a more current ROM, maybe ICS HWA or CM7. Once i get a fix, it updates pretty quickly, about a second, surprisingly it is almost faster than my Garmin Nuvi. If you dont want to switch ROMs i would recommend flashing a new kernel for it, update the drivers and such.

[Q] Poor mtp speed Win 7

my MTP performance is abysmal - it takes ages for Win 7 to even start copying files and then it takes hours (even though my 16gb are not even full). Using CM 10 M2 (been like that before M2).
Does anybody have an idea what might be the cause of it?

Problem
when ever i try to use to play games on it , it stuck, hangs after playing 1 or 2 minutes button stops responding and after removing battery it able to work again ( after heating up cpu)
every time i try to play streaming videos or, youtube it stuck hangs after 5 to 10 minutes hardly (after heating up cpu)
every time when i use it with video call on skype or yahoo it stuck hang after 2 to 5 minutes ( after heating up cpu)
and now i am facing problem when it stuck during the game button not responding (with out getting cpu heating up)
please help me is it software issu or hardware issu ?
