I got mine on ebay for ~$75 maybe. am using it alot
The same company has a mouse, I just never tried it (and am not convinced it is as useful... my own bias)
http://www.thinkoutside.com/btmouse_product.html
The driver you get is a combined one for the mouse + keyboard

I wonder if it would support a BlueTooth keyboard with built in trackball or something similar.

Is Teksoft Bluemouse 1.0 free?
test results...
I got home and tested the setup with my LogiTech Mx900 Optical mouse. The Athena recognized the mouse and connected to it like a champ. I then installed the Teksoft Bluemouse 1.0 software. I had to soft reset my device twice. Sometimes happens. On the second boot, the little icon for Teksoft Bluemouse 1.0 was in the tray and I saw the mouse cursor...EXCITED. But, when I tried to use the mouse, the cursor jumped all over the place and I wasn't able to really use it. I have it disabled for now. I'm going to wait for other users to test this out. I didn't get a chance to test it through Remote Desktop because it wasn't working well on the Athena's Today screen.
This link references the problem I'm experiencing and the forum explains that a fix will be released in the next version.

Some of my customers use a BlueTooth mouse so I'm going to try different models and see if I can get better results. The next one I may try is a Kensignton mini as well as a few others. I'll provide my results once I've had a chance to perform further testing.
If anyone has better results or the same or worse, please let us know. I'm anxious to purchase a mouse that works.

This one works and I have/use it.
Targus AMB02 rechargeable bluetooth notebook mouse cost about 48 euro
Note the model number! There is a LASER BT mouse from Targus which did not work for me.
Sorry I could not post link cos I am off in a hurry
do you guys need to install any driver for BT mouse?
I think it's just a matter of driver for WM5/6. right?
time will come... :-D
I do the same thing!
Although I don't use Wisbar Advance, I use TrueVGA. And the Remote Connection feature is absolutely great!

Ok, thanks. I'm going to try several different ones. I totally forgot about Targus. They have the little mouse which are good.

The only "driver"/software I had to install was for the mouse icon. The mouse itself was picked up by my phone without a problem. I could click on the screen but I didn't know where the icon was. If you have a BlueTooth mouse, try to bind it to your phone and see if it shows up. Make sure you select input device once you get it connected. I just used "0000" as the pin and mine worked.
I paired and used my Apple Pro bluetooth keyboard without problems.
I can type away on the full qwerty keyboard with no need for a usb 4in1.
Where can I get the Mouse pointer software? I want to try both KB and mouse as I have the MS bluetooth explorer mouse.
Hi all, does anybody know if the tab has bluetooth HID (human interface device) drivers to run extenal keyboards??? Anyone tried, and if yes wich keyboards are working?? I like the upcoming Samsung keyboard, but don't think it is very portable especially if traveling, so I thought I would like to buy one of those folding keyboards, but don't want to through away my money...
Thanks
Just tried a Logitech DiNovo Mini and it works perfectly. You even get a mouse pointer on your Tab, that you can move around with the touchpad.

Is anybody using a usb keyboard and mouse combo with your Iconia?
I have been thinking about picking this one up:
http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0352660
I am not sure if it will work. Yesterday I used a similar wireless keyboard and it worked but it was a different brand.
I seen a nice small keyboard at best buy and for a mouse i use my handy smandy logitech trackball......;-}
That will most likely work.but there are some android keyboards out there with function buttons for android.I have a solidtek mini keyboard with track pad like on notebook. It works very well and solid built spill resistant.with 3.1 mouse works as well its Bluetooth as well.good Luck

I am using a USB hub on my Iconia to connect the keyboard folio case listed on Amazon for the Iconia and a USB mouse, and it works flawlessly. It turns my Iconia into a netbook!
Just for curiosity I connected my bluetooth mouse to my Tab (P6810)... and not expecting much, a little blue pointer popped up in the screen, that was amazing, I didn't really expected that! It's extremely useful when you are using text editors, word processors...etc.
It's not perfect anyway, the wheel doesn't work, but you can click (hold) and move up and down in a document for example, you can double click words to select them, you can click (hold) and move the mouse to change to your left/right home screen, it's fast and very responsive!
Another thing that doesn't work is the right click which is ok because there's not such a thing on android anyway....
I don't think everybody knows about this, try it and share your thoughts!
I'm using a Logitech BT mouse V470 which is the best I've ever seen out there.

I'm currently using a Kensington SlimBlade Trackball Mouse, which works pretty well for me. The trackball includes both vertical and horizontal scrolling. Does the V470 do horizontal scrolling as well? What's the difference between the V470 and the Logitech Tablet Mouse?
I have a Kensington slim blade mouse with its own dongle. I plugged the dongle into the usb OTG connection but it isn't working - do you have the type without dongle?

Correct. Mine is Bluetooth, so no dongle.
My logitech USB mouse with the dongle works just fine with my tab, using the USB connector to the tab. It worked on my S2, so I would have guessed it would work on my 7.7.

EDITED:
Sorry, I just got home and yes, the V420 does have horizontal scrolling... I never really used that option, only the vertical...
Anyway, they don't work in my Tab
Logitech tablet mouse? Wow.. I'm going to check that online....

The Logitech I have is an older MX mouse
http://www.logitech.com/en-ca/mice-pointers/mice/devices/5846
got it ages ago for my laptop so 3 years ago.
Samsung should disable USB support for mice just on principle. Bluetooth or GTFO. Having a wired mouse to the 7.7 just looks so...uncivilized.
Okay, my bluetooth mouse with dongle does work! I think my mouse was in pointer mode on my earlier attempt.

Ok, The Logitech Tablet Mouse looks exactly like mine V420 BUT according to customers reviews on Amazon the horizontal/vertical scrolling DOES work on this one....
I'm probably getting one for my tab and keep the V420 for my laptop....

Wait a second... You have a Bluetooth mouse, and your 7.7 has Bluetooth built-in, and you're using an external dongle instead... WTF!? Why!?

WTF with attitude? This particular mouse only works with its proprietary dongle.

Well, because then you have to have a big ugly dongle and USB adapter sticking out of the tab when you could just use the native Bluetooth support instead. It's...displeasing to the eye.
Anyway, the occasions where I bother at all with a mouse for any phone/tablet I use my trusty Microsoft 5000.

Attitude is just a part of who I am. I am not ashamed of that. Some people might not like it, others don't mind. Frankly, I don't really care either way. Having said that, I generally do my best to tell things as they are and offer my most accurate, honest, and unfiltered opinions, expertise, and reviews. Take that for what it's worth.
Moving along, and speaking of telling it like it is, if your mouse requires a proprietary dongle just for it to work at all, then it's not likely to be Bluetooth (just wireless). See, one of the most important points of Bluetooth, being that is is an open standard and not proprietary, is that anyone can use it. Thus, this eliminates the need for the ugly, cancerous, protrusions known as "dongles."
So, either your mouse isn't in fact Bluetooth (in which case, what are you doing posting in a thread specifically about Bluetooth mice?), -or- your mouse is Bluetooth (in which case, I would like reference my previous statement when I say WTF!? WHY!? Why would you totally defeat the purpose of Bluetooth by using a redundant, ugly, external adapter as opposed to the internal and integrated one already in the 7.7?)
Logitech dinovo mini works fine, I can even wake up the tab from sleep! Thanks for the idea!

I'm using a Microsoft BT Notebook Mouse 5000, and it works just fine as well. I just wish ScummVM would have better mouse controls, since that's my main use for a mouse...
Not just mouse
I also have the sam keyboard for this time. its sweet.
i dont travel with laptops anymore, since i just need my email and some MS Office stuff.
i connect the BT mouse, and keyboard when needed and works like a charm!
It looks cool as well, at least in my opinion....
