Hey, will the x10 recieve the xperia neo update as a rom with all features?
thanks

Maybe not at all updates, but some of them can be port .
I really don't think we can ask a manufacturer to support an 18 months old device. The 2011 range will likely not be supported either after this point because Sony Ericsson recently committed to supporting devices for 18 months (as long as the hardware is capable) but not beyond.

I am the recent buyer of a new Xperia Play, and I'm doing my research before getting it here in order to be ready to unlock its bootloaders and root it ASAP (I even know now that you don't need to touch the bootloaders for root, but you know what I mean ). The matter is, the peculiarities of this phone may be a bit hard to understand for people who come from other phones. I think it'd be a good idea to get a feeling about which phones we come from, so to say.
I am using a Samsung Galaxy S which I will sell once I have my Xperia.

ZTE Blade (Orange San Francisco). It was my first android phone.
Great phone for the price on pay as you go.
The controls on the Xperia Play beat all other phones though
Touch screen gaming is godam aweful for most games.

The Xperia Play has kinda cornered a market.
All Android phones run the same stuff. But the Xperia Play can control them better.
Unless you want a slimmer phone, or 1080p recording, or 12mp camera. Why buy another Android phone?
The Xperia Play will likely play all Tegra 2 games fairly well. Especially since you will be able to overclock the Play to nearly 2ghz fairly soon.
HD2 amazing phone

any chance that the xperia arc s coming to at&t, just wondering because the xperia play came out for at&t
most likely not
The Arc S is limited only to certain markets(mostly in Europe and E. Asia)
Its already avaible here unlocked

Hi all, I have been reading about the ICS update due for the arc s soon and people wondering how the performance will be on a 2011 phone, but I am wondering, of all the 2011 handsets by Sony, which ones should handle it best?
Sent from my LT18i using XDA
I think the Arc S will handle it the best, mainly because of the 1.4ghz clocked processor.
It must be the xperia s.

this might help
http://bigphonefight.com/htc-desire-hd-vs-sony-ericsson-xperia-arc
(i know its just the Arc not Arc s)
and what about HTC EVO 3D? 1 gb ram, dualcore cpu, big screen and price around 260 euros (at least here in slovakia)
Its expensive I can't pay much more
Sent from my E15i using xda premium
i don't know how much does it cost in your country but it's cheaper than desire hd and arc s here
Really ???!!???
Sent from my E15i using xda premium
yes, it's cheap, most probably because HTC thought that it will be bestseller, but nobody wanted it and HTC had already produced many components and they need to sell it out
well it seems that its not that much expensive
but still looking any other choices although i might get the evo3d
Q: what are things that makes evo 3d undesirable????!!!!
its a great phone!!!!!!!!!!! the greatest !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would suggest xperia s ..
Cost 450+- here ..

If your going to change your phone what's your next move and why ??
I don't intend to change anytime soon. I'll stay with Z1 for a couple of years.

Idk I might give the z2 ago due it costing me nothing to upgrade... By the summer lol, I get yearly upgrades due to cashback deals lol, but migjt wait to see if they make ultra's successor
Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
Originally thought I was going to get to the New HTC One but after realizing they didn't really upgrade the camera that's not going to happen. The Z2 isn't much of an upgrade for us yet, I might hold out for the Z3. If only Sony gave us IR Blasters and allowed UB for all devices, I would not want to look elsewhere
Definitely getting the z3
Sent from my Xperia Z1
I will stay on my z1 for a long time now- till it gets really outdated.
I like sony so i will probably get a new SonyXperia Z3 or 4
Im`a gamer so if there is any other phone at that time, with much better specs for gaming i would probably get it. -don`t think so they are(& will probably be) all nearly the same.
But for now-for a couple of good years i will stay on my Z1
Z4 I want to get 2 years out of the z1. Maybe one year on stock, and then over to freexperia when Sony kill z1 support in 12 months.
Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
Z3 for me as long as there's a 32gb variant
Sent from my C6906 using Tapatalk
I waited for z2 but now have to wait until May.
I just ordered a note 3 instead. It should arrive at home today after work.
Then 18/24 months see what sony brings out.

so, where's the pool?
Joking, yeah, i'll get the z3 and AFTER a few months, not on launch like my other xperias
Probably Z3...... Or let's see what the iphone 6 brings...

Stuck with my contract for the next 18months but will probably get the next Sony flagship that's out at the time I can upgrade
Sent from my C6903 using xda app-developers app
Based on Sonys release cycle, I predict a Z3 by August, so that will be my next upgrade
Sent from my C6903 using xda app-developers app
Z3 august or iphone 6 September or may just wait even longer for the Z4 jan.
Just got it (used), upgrading from an LG Optimus G
The only reason I upgraded was because of the water resistance, so I don't expect to change in the near future. Performance wyze, the LG OG was already prety good, it's just that LG sucks on updating.
Doesn't seems to be the case with Sony, so I'll probably keep it until my contracts end and I get an upgrade (in 18 or so months)
We don't really need these topics!!! Why people write this stuff, better write something usefull about the Z1, that's what I think
Sent from my C6903 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Will stuck with my Z1 until Z3 comes out.

Currently happy with my Z1. Though I'm waiting for the Z3/Z4.
One thing I would like to see is NO FLAPS but still IP58 certified.
