Actually it does not have to pass through FCC look at Apple. Does the iPhone ever show up on the FCC site before the announcement? No it hits the same day so it is plausible they have something like apple going on.

Apple does have to pass the FCC. I'm not sure how they're getting around it being published ... Maybe no one's looking for Apple or they do something crazy like file under a different name, but it has to pass the FCC to be able to sold to the consumer. For testing, they can get an exception, but not if it's going to be sold.

IDK imagine if it's a dual core processor... That's the direction that a lot of the newer superphones are heading. One thing thing my boss and I were rolling around was the possibility of a 3D phone. It'd make sense with the announcement using David Blaine. He is an illusionist anyway. But in doing some surfing we found this vid.... That e-reader idea sounds like it could be a good one or it could be like the epic or other slider phones but instead of the keyboard it could have a slide out touch screen instead allowing you to have a virtual keyboard, game pad controls, or whatever else you want to use it for. That would be sweet if it was like that little dual screen laptop that came out not too long ago. Bad ass!!! I bet it would suck the battery juice faster than you can say...

Incorrect. Maybe in the mobile market. But on the home theater front toshi usually tries much hard than other manufacturers. ESPECIALLY samsung. I can't stand anything samsung that isn't a phone.

Yeah I am a big fan of all of Samsung products. At my house we have a Samsung TV that works flawlessly along with Samsung washer and dryer that are amazing.

Let's see here. I've got a Samsung TV (two of them), a samsung phone. Samsung washer and dryer, AND...AND!!!!! a dvd player. All are great products. Except I don't use DVDs anymore, only SD cards/USB drives/Netflix.
I've tried Toshiba laptops and they have Manufacturer software in it that causes instability (same with Dell). I, for one, am NOT a fan of Toshiba, never will. Samsung's products are always "of" the best on the market, they're just not supported as well as the consumer base would like.
It just sounded good...you kno, waiting for gingerbread...testing our patience...

No one knows the real hold up on these phones but some say its apples lawsuit.....so i was wondering what if apple got there way and the rest of the phones were never released....what if the people who have the phones now were the only ones to have them lol. How crazy would that be....how much do you think people without one would start offering for one lol

Samsung wins in the end regardless since who do you think makes all the processors and screens for all of apples products? There were close to 10 million S3s presold in the Eu launch, think about what that will number be in the USA. Is there any wonder that all these shortages are happening? I compared my wifes iphone 4S to my S3 and the screen of the S3 is pretty much the size of her phone its like the inphone display belongs on a watch or something, any wonder why they are selling them faster then they can crack the whip in Shenzhen?

The size of the iphone is pretty sad lol. There was a store in my mall selling unlocked gsm phones. They had an iphine next to a gslaxy note. It looked like shrek and donkey lol

Apple hasn't had an original idea in a few years, so they might as well try to keep the competition buried in legal fees. At some point phone manufactures will stop wanted to do business in the US. Pleanty of more populated countries.

yes the pics are bogus ...but Samsung claims that the S4 will be nothing like what anyone can imagine ....the S4 will be a whole new generation of a smartphone ...many new technologies will be introduced
so if everyone thinks that the Galaxy S2 & S3 are impressive ...iam sure the S4 will rock the world ...it has to for Samsung to survive
if Apple doesn't sue the life out of them by then

all i know is when Samsung got the final judgement.... Apple Stock hit the moon + the cool 1 billion dollars they got ....Apple isnt going to just go away ! ....Samsung has to make some serious things happen & fast ....thats my 2 cents

Samsung is much, much, MUCH larger than their mobile division. Saying Samsung won't survive because one of their clients is suing a foreign office of their mobile division is like saying the USA will go bankrupt because IBM Argentina lost money.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Saying Samsung will go broke because of 1 device is a statement of stupidity: they don't know jack about Samsung. They don't know that whatever happens, Samsung is in a win-win position: if Apple takes the hill, Samsung wins, because they provide several key components (like DDR memory) for the iCrap devices. Samsung's solid state and IC business is waaay larger than their mobile division. What we see with Samsung phones is like the tip of the iceberg. They manufacture ICs and components that are used in every single industry: manufacturing, military, health, telecom, etc, etc, etc.
BTW, why are people feeding these trolls?
I don't care what it looks like, just get rid of the f½#$£# physical home button and I'll be happy.

Now their stock is gone back down again because of ip5 disappointment and not-as-impressive-as-hoped sales figures.
They haven't got one cent of that 1 billion dollars yet and its looking more and more likely that they won't be getting it at all.
Their rubberband patent has been deemed invalid as of today, bring on the appeals.
The USPTO is finally copping on to what apple are doing, I wouldn't be surprised to see this happen to more of their patents.

If u were one of those people that was torn between the HTC one and the galaxy s4 .. well.. laggy, gimmicky, and boring design all seem to be mentioned in all the top website reviews on the final build s4. Stuff.tv and pocketnow are amoung a few sites rating the HTC one higher than the s4

After having a galaxy s (still going) and seeing Samsung's lack of software support, on that alone I'd choose the HTC ONE. I'd be happy with the hardware upgrade of the S4, but the ONE seems like its of better build quality.
Not only that, but the whole PR debacle where Samsung was revealed to have been spreading bad user reviews of the HTC One also casts a shadow of doubt on anybody ridiculously badmouthing the One. Good job Samsung!
Hopefully the fact that almost all of the reviews mention the HTC One in comparison will give it the media exposure it is lacking due to minimal advertising.

In my past experiences, Samsung was not much better. I hated dealing with their customer service as well, was a pain in the rear.

i never had a phone from them, but i had one of their high end $ 3000 led tv got it replaced twice by amazon (thanks amazon) while samsung customer service a-hole told me (after 50+ calls over a month and 2 tv sets) they will not honor the warranty due me abusing the tv by keeping it on for more than 6 hours because the tv was reseting every 15-30 min (really i bought an lg led never had problem with and will keep on for a day sometime w/o problem), so no thanks if samsung will make the last anything on the planet i will not buy it.

Sony , Nokia , ASUS, LG's problems disappeared in a second. hTC sacrifices itself to save the world.
I was one of the people who was torn between the S4 and HTC One i kept changing me mind right up to the last minute. I was coming from an S2 which i never had any problems with infact its still a great phone over 2 years old (the misses uses it now and loves it) I'm glad i went with the One though it has that WOW factor that i dont think the S4 has. i'm more than happy with my decision the One is an amazing piece of kit
I take it all but the most demented Sammy trolls are now far too busy over on the S4 forums to hang around our street corner anymore.
