MiniCM 1.0 or GingerFroyo 1.2.4?

I would like to ask you guys which ROM is better? I want fast, stable ROM with App2SD fully working. Now I have MiniCM and everything is ok, i saw that GF 1.2.4 is based on Floyo, not MiniCM - who tested both of them?

personally i use minicm it's an allaround more stable and more bugfree compared to floyo altho i felt that floyo seems to be faster... both are quite stable tho in the most recent versions

I asked about GingerFroyo, not Floyo 0.20
I know that MiniCM is quite stable and fast, but whatabout GF?

if you dont like theme, you can change it. instructions on elelinux thread.

FreeXperia is not a ROM. It's a team of devs who are working together.

GingerDX is young and a little bug at the moment but doixanh will provide.

Dude! Again! FreeXperia is not a ROM. It's a team of devs who are working on different phones such as X10/mini, Arc, X8 and PLAY. Those devs are Z, B, J, G, Blagus, nobodyAtall and defer. The ROM you are talking about is just Jerpeleas ROM.

Thats what he meant.. FXP vs gingerDX. I think he didn't put a version cos both are being updated fast.

And an another thing:
J's rom is intended for development
In other words, he compiles libs for our phones instead of using SE ones.

Yeap. Not at all easy. I'd personally like to know which is faster but then again that also depends on the user. Both have so much potential..

DX has maby some trable.New version GingerDX 003 has bug with GPS.I tried now.It´s wrong.

I dont want to open new thread but i downloaded today newest freexperia rom but ss on info says it is version 10 instead 13à

GingerDX is faster, but FreeXperia is slower and not for fast daily use. FXP is just matter of time when it will be fastest ROM on Xperia X8 !

Pls try Froyobread v22b.
It is very stable to you. Fast and no lag after 2 days.
I used v23b after 1 day and it lags a lot. fall back to v22b and wait for v24

Haven't tried FreeXperia so cant really comment on that..
Been running GingerDx since release day, Running really smooth and fast had no real issues except for camera but not a real problem for me!!!
Dont plan on trying any other at the moment.
Cant wait for V004!!! Keep it up Doixanh!!!

Doixanh will try to make GingerDX, especially for camera, i hope so.

@ABu33 well I don't know. I have score ~8MFLOPS on GingerDX v004, maybe you should reinstall it, full wipe, ect.?

Well that is my question, What do you consider that is the best rom at the moment?
First: what is the best rom for battery? and why?
Second: what is the faster rom? and why?
Finally: What do you consider the best rom at the moment? gingerdx? or what and why?

probably gingerxperia. gingercruzt 7.4 is nice too, it has timescape. but im using froyobread now. imo it's the most stable ROM out there.

I really like gingerDX, but there is a problem with accelerometer and it's the huge problem for me.. Does the gingerXperia have this bug too? P.S. I'm usung FroyoBread now, but really like android 2.3.5 instead of 2.2..

I'm using GingerDX and i'm not having problem with the accelerometer.
I just don't know where is the DSP manager app on v013 and I don't know how can i sync my contacts from syncML of Sony ericsson

this is true guys! i used gingerdx for quite a while and ive just installed gingerxperia and its MUCH faster! only thing is if you want dual touch you have to install it manually unlike gingerdx because it comes precompiled in the rom. But overclock doesnt work in dx but in gingerxperia it does!

Then maybe you would like to try Xperia 8 ginger roms, It's a mix of GingerDX, GingerXperia, openroms from htc_woldfire and stock eclair, I tried before, Kuya, minicm, froyobread, ginger xperia and several others, and, I've been using this one for some days now and just love it, fast, besides I never thought i would enjoy the 7 launcher so much!!, really, just give it a try.

agree with you, I also using GC 7.4 and Xgin 5.3 before this~ lite and fast~ got OC~

I say GingerXperia. It feels more clean than the other roms, in my opinion.

Its all work....except an light sensor but there is fix.

Best one for me is: 2.1.1.Clean.0.0 by pfonck, fast, clean, no lag, no bugs
Favorite one is: GingerCruzt for Arc Launcher and features, but laggy and battery drain...

Thanks all for comments, but Gingerxperia v11 is more lightweight, stable and faster than gingerdx v18?

I havent tried GingerXperia yet but maybe 2 weeks from now after i fully evaluate GingerDX. Im using stock kernel + GingerDX v18 + addons with OC to 710Mhz + Supercharger + Build.prop Tweaks and Init.d Tweaks + LP Sense UI,NTSense Theme and Agile Lock. So far so good.
At least im not getting those errors other people are getting. Came from Froyobread v23 with the same setup so it was a smooth transition. For now i'd say GingerDX. 2 weeks from now im trying GingerXperia with those setup except without Supercharger as i read somewhere that GingerXperia uses JUWE ramscript.

Trying GingerXperia v11, very impressed how fast it is...

I'm also using 2.1.1.Clean.0.0 by pfonck... And so far I'm loving it!

Cyborg is for stable wifi,
DX for advanced features,
GingerCtuzt for official style.

Hi to all! When i go back to home screen from different apps in GingerXperia v10 and v11 ROM, the launcher reload and i have to wait few seconds. And it happen each time.

hi guys, wich is the best rom at moment ? i have GINGERCM CM7.2 BY XPERIAFAN v 10, its wonderful, i need full working gps, long battery life and stability.

I guess nAa kernel and MiniCM 7 are best for your needs

GingerDX v28b + alfs v8a in my opinion . The advantage of GDX is that it's still developed, it's stable, fast and rather bug-free

GingerZaraki is nice with both kernels

Gps bug or pointing bug?
Because gps works for me, and for pointing fix search " LibSensors_patch_for_MiniCM-7.zip"

Gingerdx is fastest but alfs has a lot of bugs (lags 2d, if you try to play fruit ninja on alfs you can see a lot of lags). All other roms (99%) are based on minicm and has not big difference. I am now using presto by haka, witch is a good minicm build. As a result there are two roms Gingerdx and minicm. Find the best for you...

Coming to XDA and asking which is the best rom is like going to a bar full of drunks and asking whats a good drink here..
