Hello ....
I am on that looks for the HtcUI for sony x8 I have seen with yotube a video and I must say it looks hammer and would do this with pleasure somebody has tip?? Sorry my English is absolutely rotten

How to install framework-res.apk ?
I search but can not find a good explanation about it for x8.

It's simple, framework located in /system/framework, something like that, I don't remember exact name... Easiest way is to mount system from xrecovery...

I think thats just a Launcher + LockBot app

The process of getting a jury-rigged Sense on the x8 is a lot more complex than simply finding a launcher that suits your needs and the widgets to go with it.
Try i.e LauncherPro.

use root explorer, mount R/W and just simply replace the framework, reboot and enjoy.
or use the xRecovery, for the safe.

So As of now we Optimus One users dont hv a official neither unofficial port of MIUI. . Hopefully somebody somewhere and somehow gives us the MIUI and hope the MIUI developers digg something for us . After all our phone still ranks amongst one of the best in its class ...
So today i am goin to give u guys & girls a taste of MIUI ... Here are 3 of the MIUI apps that will give u a bit of MIUI on ur phone
1.MIUI Camera
2.MIUI Gallery
3.MIUI Music
So Next step Installation
Place the apps on the root o ur SD card
Jst drag ur apk into system/app
These applications do not replace ur stock applications ..it just installs another one on ur phone

Firstly make a folder on ur sd card :named SYSBACK or something like that
Go to system/app and move ur Gallery3d.apk and Gallery3d.odex (Mine is odex urs might be different )...to SYSBACK(which is our backup folder)
Now move MIUIGallery.apk to system/app and done its nw ur default gallery viewer.
Do the above for MIUI Music and MIUI camera if u want them as stock :for camera the file to be backed up will be camera.apk and camera.odex & for Music will be music.apk and music.odex

i think we are not going to get it....just see some other posts and u will know why!

Hopefully we will ...and yup on top of facebook polls hope the MIUI people take it seriously and port an MIUI to us ..

Did you even try installing it? It's English

i've tried miuiCamera.. but it say cannot install :|

Some of the things on that launcher are on chinese...and there are also not that much widgets ...

I hv just added a MIUI camera.zip ..go to recovery and flash it and its done

[ASK] How to make icon pack to .apk

Hello guy.. This is my 1st thread in this section..
I'm a noob here.. I need some guide to make an .apk type of file so i can make my own .apk...
I want to learn this because i want to apply this icon pack without flashing them into system..
also.. i i can make it be install like normal apk.. i think i can use the icon pack with another launcher like xperia launcher, holo launcher or similar..
somebody can help me make a normal .apk??

Those are flashable zips!!

actually u can make a theme for launchers with theme support ..

it's possible, but it's the same as building a basic app,
you need to mirror some codes to work for a specific launcher or theme engine,
but if you are asking for the system icons,
then you are out of luck (except CM)

that's not possible with the current samsung OEM firmware we have and all custom roms (well working custom roms to be exact) are based upon it

I searched XDA for this Mod but I didn't have luck,
So I decided to make one
I present you Xperia Z1 14.4.A.0.157 Superuser Mod :fingers-crossed: or what some people call Sevices.jar Patch
Anyway you are free to install, include in your room and blabla bla...
But I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR DARLING Z1
Don't Panic I tested it on my Z1
--------------Requestments---------------
1) C6903 (idk know if it works on other modules so DON'T TRY IT UNLESS YOU HAVE C6903)
2) You must have rooted your Z1
3) you need to be deodexed ( Deodex Your Z1)
4) You don't need to have a brain in this thread, a cheese burger is enough as the mod is so easy to be installed :silly:
--------------G U I D E---------------
1) Download the zip from below
2) Boot into recovery
3) Install " C6903 14..4.A.0.157 Superuser Mod" (here I wrote the name to confirm :good: )
4) Reboot
5) Close this thread and find something to do

Great! Now u can add the mod to your post without having the trouble making it :good:
What I'm saying is: wanna cooperate? I make the superuser mod of every new frimeware
of Z1 and you add them to your post. :highfive:

you have to install in system and you can access battery care via activity launcher.
If you want to access battery care via settings, Settings.apk needs modding.

It should be in battery section on XZ/X Compact.
In somc_stamina_settings.xml of Settings.apk there is:
