Please explain more clearly!!
i have asked this before but looks like our phone does not come with sensors for this....
Maybe
This information could be invalid but AndroSensor does pick up a temperature sensor but not a battery temperature sensor on CyanogenMod 7. It could be a bug or an inaccurate component displacement for the ROM.

Basically, no apps can tell me my battery temperature. They all say 0°c. This is quite annoying for things like o/c and tethering, in case my battery overheats.

I've asked this many times and looked online some web sites say no
While others suggest the we have, magnetic sensor, heat sensor, and some other sensor that when I saw I didn't try pronounce.

Maybe the 'temperature sensor' is virtual and/or uncalibrated. The sensors available on CyanogenMod are for phones with a higher price range than the LG GT540.

On androsensor, on the temperature section, it says waiting for event, unlike your picture.

Did you wait for a while? It could also depend on the conditions of the ROM.

the proximity sensor and light sensor are frosted?
just wondering!
Doubt it cuz the frosting would inhibit the function of the sensors. This is probably a dummy display model photographed by the graphic designers for the image.

Guys does nexus 7 have GPS ?? and does it support a 3g/4g dongle via USB OTG cause it doesn't have a mobile connectivity.

Well i was in an absolute mood to buy it ever since it was in the rumors. but guys no back camera ??? not even GPS. C'mon, thats too much. Now i doubt I'll buy it cause the only purpose now I feel it has is gaming. Well i am not a die hard gamer. Too much features sacrificed just for the price tag. Would have been better if they released a better version with slightly higher price tag, umm.. around 300$ with GPS and at least 3g connectivity. DISAPPOINTED !!

Uuhhh why do you think it has no GPS? It says right on the specs section of the google play page that it has GPS.

This was gold!
I just downloaded an app to check out all the sensors and I was surprised to see a magnetic sensor on the nexus 4! I know the 7 has one for a flip cover. Is that why the nex 4 has one?
The question = Why does the Google Nexus 4 have a magnetic sensor?

Compass?
What's the app?
Technical specifications of the phone list:
Sensors: Accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, compass, barometer

I think your app misreported the compass for a "magnetic sensor".
While we are here, the actually weird sensor here is the barometer. I am suspecting it's assisting the GPS to determine height (for hikers, for example). Or someone can also write an apps that tells you if you're in the middle of a hurricane or a storm

Well I mean there are weather alert app.
Also, yes it can detect metal, you can download metal detector app and it probably go haywired if you are in the middle of a magnetic storm too. Also there are apps that can detect your heartbeat base on the changing color of your skin by using camera and led flash.
You can't be serious... How did you think compasses work? Magic?
I never thought of that..

They put a barometer in the Gnex, which they said at the time was to help the GPS in getting a quicker lock (as you say).
I don't think any apps ever really took advantage of it though, or if they did I didn't notice any difference.
'Magnetometer' is the correct term for the 'compass sensor'.
Hi!
I recently found an application called Runtastic Heart Rate In the Google play store.
It's almost like the S5 one but a little bit different because it uses the Camera and LED flash to measure your heart rate.
Here's a link to the app (free version) so you can try it out for your self!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.runtastic.android.heartrate.lite
And here's the paid version wich offers more features!

You got to be really naive just to think it measures your heart beats with the camera and LED flash...
Really try to read a little bit more before you say that.

these apps work BUT the distance between led and camera on S4 is big so there is no / little accuracy.
I used one of these apps with S2 and worked fine

Yes when I use it I get like 95% accuracy
If you don't believe me you can use the app to see what you get.
After that go into the clock app and click on the stopwatch tab then click start. Count your puls for 15 sec and multiply it by 4!
Then you see how accurate this app is.
Sent from my GT-I9505 rocking the best and only Phoenix Rom v9.4 by @tamirda
Smartphones can already detect blood oxygenation if you put the finger over the camera and let the LED light shine through the finger. It's mostly used for pulse. I've tested this out, and it does work quite accurately most of the time.
Can someone please provide an exact list of what typically is missing on Note 4 when you install a non-touchwiz rom?
Obviously samsung apps, but the ONLY samsung app I use is S-Health, and that can be installed on a non-touchwiz device.
What else? Fingerprint sensor? Stylus support? Heart rate monitor? Multi-Window? Humidity and Temperature sensors?
Thanks
You don't use the Samsung Dialler, Messaging, Contacts, S Planner, Camera etc. apps? Those are missing. Note 4 doesn't have any humidity or temperature sensors by the way. But I would also like to know whether S Health hardware sensors work on CM ROMs or not, as I use them on regular basis.
Special modes of Touchwiz camera cant be used

Honestly I have no frigging idea mate! The specs sure say that it lacks the Hygrometer the Note 3 had, but I will check that app myself! Samsung must be crazy to include it and then not mention it!
It didn't work at first in that app and then after an update it did. I think Samsung just used the same chip as the Galaxy s6 for that stuff and disabled in on the note 4 for god knows why. The developer of that app must have realized and found a way to link into them.
