Not sure if this has been discussed before, but here's some interesting Anycut shortcuts which brings up some hidden options.
"Testing" - Phone network info, including settings to switch between 2G/3G
"Sip Settings" - Brings up the SIP menu that's included in stock Gingerbread but removed from AT&T Roms.
"Dock Settings" - Enable/Disable dock sound notification
"FMPlayer"- Brings up the FM player
"HDMI Settings" - Allows setting of HDMI resolution & overscan
There's a ton more shortcuts that's listed in Anycut.

Hi there, I use quickmenu which is like the best program ever for ppc, but I can't find a way to add a wifi toggle to the quickmenu. Currently I have to go into settings->communications-comm manager and then turn on/off wifi which is very annoying!
Any way to add it to the list?
I use spb panel which does not have the wifi on/off toggle like the today screen.
THANKS!
phone alarm from pocketmax.net will do the tricks.
Or use pdaStatus which is a today plug-in, a screenshot in my post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=459241&page=8
I use SPB Phone Today plugin... has made it ultimately easy! Can toggle all connections from it including bluetooth and wifi.
Try WirelessToday.cab; is shows you your Operator, BT status and WiFi status.
When you touch the today-item it will bring you to the comm manager.
Thanks, but I use the spb panel instead of today screen.
I assigned the left key button to comm manager for easy access.
attached is what you're looking for
I use this one to quick access to Wifi on/off http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=442727

Hello all.
Each time I have to switch between ActiveSync and Disk drive (to gain more speed in file tranfers) I have to go to
Settings / All settings / Connections / USB to PC.
Is there any way to have USB to PC as shortcut ?
I am currently using a Manila 2.5 ROM that has also Cookie's HT installed (Energy ROM).
Many thanks
S
on the bottom right of the "USB to PC" settings screen (the one you mentioned),
there should be a tick box described in fashion similar to "ask for connection type first"
(sorry for imprecise wording, I have non-english ROM),
when checked, after connecting Leo to USB you should see "Connect to PC" screen giving you choice of USB or ActiveSync each time
This is a vergy good alternative the the shortcut; I've always had the tick box under my eyes but never cosidered do use it that way.
I usually un-checked it to get rid of that function, but now I see it's very useful.
Many thanks
if you want to make a quicklink to it, see the "control panel items" link in my sig.
on similar note - is there any way to programatically change the connection mode from USB to ActiveSync or vice-versa, without the actual unplugging the device?
when you change the option it should disconnect and reconnect itself you shouldn't need to touch the cable.
Easiest way to do it...
Go to Settings / All settings / Connections then longpress on the USB To PC icon then select "move to top" it will then be in your start menue where you can now add it to you desktop shortcuts.

Click to collapse
mightn't work on the OPs custom rom, cos move to top only exists in wm 6.5, not 6.5.x

thanks, that was quick and easy,
but then I could not assign the shortcut to homescreen quicklinks (neither delete it from start menu),
so I followed samsamuel's advice (thanks too),
and after short fight with icons,
here comes the ready-made link, should anybody need one
I have read multiple threads on how to add internt favorites and various apps to the startmenu as a shortcut. That is pretty easy. I also use Cookies' Hone Tab to add shorcuts to my homescreen. Again pretty easy. However, neither of these methods allow me to add the "Bluetooth Settings" (starmenu\settings\bluetooth) icon to start menu or homescreen. I just cannot find the location of the BT Settings in my file explorer to add it as a shorcut. Also, Cookies Home tab does not find it when trying to add it as a program.
Anyone know where it is so I can make a shortcut to it or is there another method? I just want to add a shortcut/icon on my homescreen that lets me go straight into The Bluetooth Settings Menu. The BT Toggle switch under CHT is not enough. I have many BT devices I switch bewteen and they often do not pair automatically as they should and I would like a quicker way to access BT settings to switch between devices and profiles manually when needed. I have looked on Windows Marketplace, OMArket, and forums for an BT app i could just add that would do this but could not find any apps specifically for BT settings. Anyone know of any?
Any help would be appreciated.
