Can i update my x8 with X10 HC using SEUS ???
I found tutorial on internet and for man who put him there its working.
I dont want brick my phone pls help me
no new update for x8
My friend there is NO update for x10 to honeycombe lol but if u try it won't work at SEUS willl know your phones only x8 mate
But i think update from x 10 in seus i select no x8 but x10 and update to 3.0 is this possible ???

No cus x10 does not have 3.0 update

Because i find on net only Xperia 2011 phones are supported by ICS from xperia series and x8 is not 2011 its older we can only wait
Just wait few weeks and we'll see
after great work of cynogen mod team i am wating for cm8 i feel that i am in heaven enjoying all the versions of the android and with the great support of the developers cheers

android 2.4 is now know as Android 4.0. and will be first seen on the nexus 3.
I agree with fishears, miroslav_mm projects, Utopia and soft-mod 2.1 are great peace of work!!!

There's something about Android 2.3 (you could say Swiftdroid) that makes me want to keep it. It's probably obsessive-compulsive disorder as it's the latest version of Android that is available for the LG GT540.
I thought the version number was 4.0 not 2.4? Would make more sense for a universal version of android
This douche is trying to sell a Galaxy S and is advertising that it is unopened and unused with Android 2.4 "Ice cream sandwich" installed. I want to report him but can't find anything in the "report policy" that pertains to this. I don't use ebay all that often, is this quite common? Hopefully most people ignore it and don't fall for it.

ICS is supposed to be where Honeycomb and Gingerbread meet and work for both tablets and phones. However, there is no ICS in the wild, if there were it would be here and it certainly isn't on a brand new Galaxy S 1.

Yup . most 2.3 devices should have that upgrade . but will it be smooth for us non dual core phone. that the worry=) lets hope for the best
You'd imagine they would have to SOME forethought into what may be on the horizon when releasing the Arc when they did and when they knew ICS was coming out. Hopefully it will be out and work like a dream while fixing my 1% battery
New Sony phone just leaked - Sony ST21i. It has same MSM7227 chipset as our X8i/W8i/x10i mini and even same resolution lcd - 320x480, 3mpx camera and most important thing that it runs Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3!
Maybe some porting when it will go on sale?

Thats the spirit!!! I am personally not going to waste money on a new phone just because it has a better android. This one is good for me for now and I love it more than others I had before. And afterall we will port it one day (I mean you not me XD- but who knows .. I started to learn now more about developing).
My W8 is my first android phone, and it won't be my last. I'm not selling it. IMO xda is the final word on what android version we can have on our phones. But if the devs in xda say it's impossible to port X android version to our w8/x8 then that's when i'll change phones.
But i ain't parting with my w8, locked bootloader and all.
