I had my Epic Touch 4G on pre-order. Today is the official release day, they are shipping it to me Tuesday I believe. Once I get it, I will officially be leaving the Evo forums to enjoy the Dual Core/1GB of Ram goodness. I'll be sure to come back post something letting you all know how I like the phone. Coming from the Evo to the new Epic is probably going to be a huge change for me. I guess we will find out!

wow man, it's just a question... My wife has an Epic and I have an Evo. I like the Epic more.
I have an Epic... wait... no I don't, I have the Galaxy tab, a giant Epic. I love the tab but I would not switch my Evo for an Epic.

Epic's screen is better. The kb is the bestest. I do like touchwiz better than sense.
I like the messaging and e-mail package that comes out of the box with Epic better than the HTC.
The margin of error on either one is minimal. You can't go wrong with either phone.

What do you guys think about the eve 3d. I just watched a video on it and the only feature I like is the 3d affect for the camera hince the name eve 3d. I'm not too convinced yet.

The evo has a crazy good cpu. The best yet announced. Also huge and high resolution screen. It will be the best phone for at least 6 months after release, just like the evo was.

It's like the 3D... without the 3D! This looks like it could be an awesome successor to the EVO 4G, for those upset with the gimmicky EVO 3D.

Lol I just wanted to get it out there that cm9 is in development.
We know, lol. There's been about three threads on it and it's in the rumors.
Also, it's not set to come out in two months. That was cyanogen's way of saying that it'll take a while to finish, and to check back later.
I love the excitement, but it seems your impulsiveness has caused you to create a pointless thread.

I would rather see a good stable CM7 first, with nightly support, that would pretty much give the epic some certainty (maybe) of getting ICS...
