my nexus is I9020T
Few days age, I flash the phone with Odin 1.81 with
I9023 files: Bootloader_I9023XXKA3
DGS_I9023_HKT
PDA_SOJU_GRI54_TMO_EUR_MR1_SIGNED
MODEM_I9023XXKB3_REV_00_CL912571_SIGNED
then I got my Nexus s bricked.
But I found that the menu and other buttons were lighted.
So I think may be I can flash 9020 Odin files to save my Nexus.
then I get 9020 files.But I can't sure which Model.
files: Bootloader_I9020XXJK1[1]
CSC_I9020_EUR
PDA_SOJU_GRH78_85442_SIGNED[1]
then my nexus got alive.
But I can't get 3g data connection. All connection is gsm and gprs data connection.
I tried the Thread
[RADIO/GUIDE/TWEAK] Radio JK1,JK8,KB1,KB2,KB3,KD1,UCKD1 with HSPDA Tweak
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1116884
said . I remove efs/ files.
and *#*#4636#*#*.
but can't get 3g connection.
I use *#*#4636#*#* way set my Phone frequency and country with usa band.
then I lost all connections (GSM,and data connecion).
If the Odin files are not for I9020T?
plz if you can help us . Plz reply.

Please note that i am not responsible if you brick your Galaxy Tab.
This worked for me and i now have a Galaxy Tab, on At&t making calls + 3G data + 850/1900Mhz WCDMA enabled.
**please note you need to have a SIM card with a proper voice plan and DATA plan for this to work. do not try this with the prepaid card that came with the Tab.
1) Download the firmware P1000XWJJ4 from HERE (pass: samfirmware.com)
2) download the firmware P1000XXJK5 from HERE (pass: samfirmware.com)
3) download Odin 1.3 from HERE
4) download the modem_bell_i9000.zip file attached to his post and extract it.
A) put you tab into download mode and flash P1000XWJJ4 with P1_add_hidden.pit and repartition selected. The phone will reboot and will be in Russian.
B) Put the phone into download mode again. flash P1000XXJK5 with NO repartition and NO PIT file. the phone will reboot with the latest euro firmware in english.
C) finish the setup wizard, if you do not get DATA at this point (3G or EDGE) at this point go into APN settings and change the APN from "Broadband" to "wap.cingular"
D) Put the Tab into download mode and flash the attached modem.bin file (the one you extracted) by selecting the bin file under "phone" in Odin. NO repartition and NO PIT file.
E) At this point your phone will reboot and you should have 850/1900Mhz enabled and everything you should work just like the euro version of the Tab.
Done and done.
UPDATE: I found that at&t are disabling HSUPA on the Tab, thus using the at&t original modem will not be ideal. I found that the Bell Galaxy S 2.2 modem is the only modem i found so far that will give us 850/1900Mhz + HSUPA + voice calls.
Please flash this modem instead. it is attached.
Nice... How come we need to go to the Russian ROM first? Thanks again Clubtech.
Because it is the only real full flash firmware we currently have and that fixes the boot logo problem i had when i didn't do a full flash before.
XXJK5 is not a full flash, but incremental one so we have to flash twice.

T-mobile are blocking the data plans by IMEI, so there is nothing we can do unless you want to fake your IMEI.
As long as the IMEI stays the same, even if you got 3G and voice to work, data will still be blocked on regular phone plan sim cards so there is no point really.
For blocking by IMEI T-mobile should see all their tabs returned as far as i care.
Could this work for Sprint?

It shouldn't be blocked (unless T-MO is blocking ALL Tab IMEI's, not just their own), but even so you'll be unable to use 3G, it'll be EDGE only, since the AT&T device won't support T-Mo's AWS frequencies.

What if i flash it using your instruction and insert my att sim card will it work? Thanks a million!
A small update.
So it appears that at&t have disabled HSUPA so the upload speeds are slow (it is capped around 386Kbps).
I tried flashing the Bell modem.bin. it kept the 850Mhz and disabled the upload cap but i could not longer make or receive calls.
Flashing back to the at&t modem back and i was able to make calls but the upload speed is again capped.
Thank-you at&t!!! for crippling my hardware!!
Anyone can post the modem from Rogers? that would be helpful to try.

On step a), it's really a 2 steps process right? Meaning
1. Download the pit file
2. Flash the PDA, Phone and CSC
according to general flashing instruction here http://www.samfirmware.com/P1000 how to flash.pdf ?
And when come the 2nd flash, skip the pit file and flash the other 3: PDA, Phone and CSC?
Thanks again.

Ok, Bell GT-P1000M is now flashed with JK5 and the AT&T Modem, and is fully voice and data functional on Telus (I manually unlocked it) in both 850 and 1900 bands.
Rock on.
Since the Rogers version is the same as AT&T, this should work on the Rogers galaxy tab too right?

I'm having the same issue but, for what it seems, it should be a config file... try posting the question in the Ace-i's forum.. at least it's the same family model as the Ace-M (which I also own).
Maybe it has to do with CSC...

In case anyone is facing this issue, I resolved it by flashing an S5830C's NVRAM, it has to do with the NVRAM which contains the actual baseband (800/900/1800/1900 etc..), you can find it in the Bootloader package:
HERE

Hi, the file is in 7z because it's a whole firmware, but to fix the 3g issue in a S5830C/M you must use ONLY the Bootloader part of the flash, you'll know it because the tar part corresponding to it, has a file inside named like "HEDGE_NVRAM" and something else :silly: make sure to use the PIT corresponding to the cooperve, which you can find in the tutorial by @feetsonfire about how to recover from a brick.
Try first with Odin V3 1.84 if it doesn't work, try it with Odin V3 3.07.
There is no need for doing anything else! No recovery nor anything else related to it, just what I exposed in my post!

Or extract the modem file from stock firmware
Similiar Issue
Here's some steps I went through to investigate this issue. Don't get your hopes up, I don't have a solution.
You can use service mode to lock the phone to LTE and get a better view of what's going on.
Dial *#0011# to get you into service mode. Then you want to go up a menu (there's a bug here). Hit menu>back (nothing will happen), then menu>keyinput then type 1 and hit ok. Select option [1]>[6]>[2] from here you can lock to LTE by hitting [4]>[2] (Telstra run LTE on Band 3 = 1800MHz). Reboot for good measure.
Exit and Dial *#0011#. If your phone works, you're now looking at some low level LTE RF stats. I have 2 GS4's which are showing me strong coverage. If you phone is like my third GS4, it'll say No Service.
I can lock that dodgy one to GSM or WCDMA with no issue.
So, off I go to flash the modem to within an inch of it's life...
Hi, I'm from India and have a GT-I9500 which has been running flawlessly for the past 1 year on BSNL service right up to OS version 4.4.2 firmware vers. I9500XXUFNE4. Since then I upgraded the firmware twice to I9500XXUFNG1 and subsequently to I9500XXUFNI2. Midway while using firmware I9500XUFNG1 in rooted version, I started noticing that my phone data would run normally for a while and then suddenly the data connectivity would drop from H+ mode to 3G but would not return to H+ even though I know that I am in an area that has consistently strong H+ signal. The only option to get H+ mode back was to go to Settings/More networks/Mobile networks/Network mode/ and change the setting to WCDMA only mode for two minutes and then switch back to WCDMA/GSM(autoconnect), then the phone would get H+ service back again for a few hours. I thought that it might have been some problem caused by rooting, so when the latest firmware (I9500XXUFNI2) was released this month I upgraded the firmware but since I lost root on upgrade, I did not root the phone, fearing the problem will come back since I thought root was causing it.
Now in stock firmware running on I9500XXUFNI2 I am still getting the same problem of the phone dropping to 3G mode from H+ and not reverting back ( the speed is not even 2G. Just the 3G icon shows it - data packets hardly get transferred) and I can rectify it only by switching to WCDMA mode and back to autoconnect, as previously stated.
I checked online for solutions, but I don't seem to see anyone facing such an issue.
I thought it could be a service provider problem, so I used SIMs from Idea and Airtel as well, but while using those networks also, the same problem persists, so I have deduced it is a problem pertaining to the phone only. Not sure if it is a hardware malfunction or firmware based.
Does anybody else from India running the latest firmware for GT-I9500 have similar problems, and is there a solution?
Thanks.

:good:
Thank you besides that any other options ?
