Google multi recovery flasher. Load it on your C drive and open it in cmd. Start your Streak in Fastboot, connect the two via usb, then in the DOS screen select the recovery you want to try. You might want to scan over the instructions that come with it, but its pretty simple and worked on the first try for me.
Good luck!
did you read what i write?
power button does not work.
is not possible to turn on device, is not possible to get fastboot mode.
on board: Steakdroid 2.3
phone is bricked due pc failure during loading stock recovery.
what i can to do before sending this brick to service?
-just send, warranty will be probably valid.
-create other damage for masking unsuccessful flash
What does happen when you connect to the wall charger, does it recognize the charger. If your answer is no, then your device is totally bricked and the only way is to resurrect it using JTAG. BUT BUT, it is not sure that your mobile will be total functional i.e. you will not be able to use the SIM card. The device will be as WiFi only. Hence, it is better to send it to service if it is still under warranty.
Brick not!
OMG! your Dell streak is not brick dude. QDLtool is your best friend, now go and learn how to use it.
Here is the link: http://streakdroid.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=2
Download streakflash.zip and unzip to your desktop
Download qdtooll-to-309-repairtool.zip and unzip to your desktop
With Dell Streak in off mode, press and hold Volume up while plug in your data cable (I know you have done this ... yeah .. yeah)
Start up QDLTool.exe in unzipped folder streakflash and select RUN.
(should you get driver error then search, download and install then start again)
Start up QDLTool.exe in unzipped folder qdtooll-to-309-repairtool and select RUN.
On completion, Dell will boot into Android 2.2
Job Done.
FYi, my Dell Streak was in various dead conditions (including what your is now - by accidentally removed my data cable while flashing a new Rom LOL) and every times I was able to recovered with QDLTool.
If this is beyond then you are better of return it to base for service. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

streakflah obviously that can not be used. My advice is service. They would hardly know it is flash. Format your memory card on another device before sending it.

Not necessary, issue maybe drivers corrupted on the PC. Pressing volume up while inserting the data cable will have no response on the PC apart from a beep sound. It is only until QDLTool prompted Driver error otherwise.

Dear All experience developers,
I am actually a newbie, If what I said is wrong please correct it, I post this post here because I think it's related to developer rather than others, even it's talking about de-brick.
I have a black DELL STREAK (31800-EU), but because I have done something wrong (fastboot erase system -w, and it hanged at erasing CATCH, and I disconnect the cable and pull-out battery to go to recovery and install .pkg file), it's now seem completely dead with nothing happen no matter what combination key I use (Vol-Up + Vol-Down + Power, Camera + Power, Vol-Up + plug USB cable for QBL) nothing happen for me).
As I go around, I saw the teardown page http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Dell-Streak-Teardown/3512/2, they have mentioned that there is a secondary 2GB microSD used to house the system and data, so DO YOU GUYS THINK THAT WE COULD DE-BRICK MY DELL BY RE-WRITE THIS HOLD 2GB CARD WITH A IMAGE FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS HIS DELL IN WORKING?
Question to all experience developers,
I know all you guys are really strong understading about DELL Streak,
Q1- In the teardown page, they found 2GB microSD + Hynix H8BES0UU0MCR NAND-based MCP, so microSD should be ROM and the Hynix... should be device RAM, isn't it?
Q2- What is a NAND backup means, when you guy used to do it on other Android devices, is it a full backup of device ROM?
Q3- I maybe can try to use 1 of your provided NAND backup file to byte-copy to a new 2GB microSD for test.
Thanks.
first question, what were you trying to achieve by running that command!
second, could you not push a new image over to it via fastboot? removing it cleared the memory and it seems theres nothing there for it to boot from, so you'd have to try and get the sd card out (does involve tearing the whole thing apart, have done it myself) to see if you can restore anything to it.

Firstly I have owned a G1, and dev just say try to wipe system before you flash new ROM to avoid boot loop, so I just follow it.
Currently, the phone is completely not boot even fastboot or Qualcom Dianostic mode. And that is why I am trying to ask someone if they could byte copy their internal 2G SD for me and I can try to tear my phone out to retore the SD.
Please kindly advide me if I could have other option to retore the SD, I can try to tear my phone out.
Thanks, Ratha
Please tell me this was resolved as I have encoutered basically the very same thing. My phone... well brick, won't do a damn thing. Very appreciative of anyone who is willing to help.
Have you tried qdltool? I think the os is on the nand not the 2gb internal card, so if its fubar'd I don't think there is a way to fix it. Turn off your streak and hold volume up as you plug it into your computer, if your computer detects it then there may he hope via qdltool. I'm a noob also so take that for what its worth.

Honestly, above solution is a bit strange but it worth a try please try and confirm. If this does not work then the only solution is to JTAG your device using Riff Box which will resurrect your mobile BUT!! from my experience and others in this forum and other forums your device will not recognize the SIM card any more. Therefore, take care. Once you try Riff Box, please leave a feedback of your experience.

Hi, I think this is my first post here. Anyway, here the question:
I have an Ideos X5 (not pro), it is bricked. So far, I have followed instruction for recoveries from several threads, but none of them worked because in my phone:
there is no boot screen
there is no pink screen
there is no logo
there are no images of any kind (screen wont even turn on)
it only vibrates when I plug it into my computer
Also *sometimes* the buttons light up and when this happens windows detect a new USB device, but after I while it dissapears again. Also, this happens only with the battery on.
The phone became bricked after I followed instructions to revert back to froyo from gingerbread (wifi wasn't working). All roms were originals from Huawei.
So, any suggestions??
Thanks in advanced.
I had a problem like you.I have deleted amss.mbn file because Huawei locked pink screen, it was bricked But i wasn't so patience enough, i sent my phone to technical care. But here are the answers, try it with caution:

Hi
Space is not enough to flash any ROMs;
Bootloader is locked, you could not edit that sector.
So is there a special ROM that is very small and allows to edit the bootloader?
Here is the MINI ROM:
http://www.mediafire.com/?7c33h84a974va28
Flash it than edit the bootloader~
NOTICE: I format the whole sector ,and the file including IMEI was missing
'Cause I don't know how to edit recovery or other system files like .mbn,
so just delete the abnormal big file and you would be able to flash any ROM s

Ok here's what I did
Download mediafire.com/?1hbk6n46hgamyt6
Unzip it, and find UPDATE.APP
Put UPDATE.APP in a dload folder and upload to empty sdcard.
Put sdcard in phone, and hold vol+/- and power and flash it.
After phone has restarted pull battery.
Download http://www.mediafire.com/?6hrfz36b8e2vw87
Unzip and copy the dload folder to empty sdcard.
Hold vol+/- and power and flash it.
After it fails near the end or if it restarts then pull battery.
Download a rooted boot.img and a clockworkmod recovery.img (got both mine from links at modaco)
Attach phone to PC in pink screen mode and delete the boot.img and recover.img files.
Upload the downloaded root.img and recovery.img to image folder in phone.
Download any custom rom from XDA, I used http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1475687 and upload it to sdcard
Pull battery.
Hold vol+ and power and go into clockworkmod, wipe everything and flash the custom rom!!
Good luck!

Tried taking off the battery for 10 seconds and after that inserted USB into computer (without battery)? Also try to take off battery and insert USB to wall-charger.
The buttons lighting up could be our way out, but if it only stays there for a couple of seconds it doesn't help. Can you see what Windows detects?
Hi again,
thanks for answering.
None of your suggestions worked anyway, because it won't even load anything from the sdcard, it just makes a short vibration and nothing more.
I managed to get the lights on again, but windows didn't show what kind of device it was, maybe because it's already installed but I'm not sure which usb device is it (windows did make a sound though, like "device is connected" sound). Also I noticed there's a red led blinking near the speaker, does that mean anything?
Anyway, tried to flash while the lights were up but it did nothing, and after two minutes the went off again.
Thanks again for your suggestions.
I connected the phone to my laptop with ubuntu, and despite I cannot do anything with the phone, there are two devices created in /dev: hiddev0 and hidraw0. Is there a way to flash the device using any of those files?
thanks again.
Worth a try on this post : Here
It is fried then
Try mounting those two devices, is there any file system recognized? It might not be bricked, but this is an issue probably nobody has had yet. Send it in for repair if it is still within warranty.

I flash a wrong kernel (A Nexus 7 kernel), and my nexus4 become brick. No matter what I did, it still no response. I can't boot to fastboot, even i can't turn it on. Please help....
connect to PC, only show a QHSUSB_DLOAD in Device Manager. But still can't turn it on. Please help, anything i can do to fix it??
Read through the ENTIRE other thread you posted in, all the info is there.
No idea how you accidently flash wrong a kernel for the wrong device.
Get into bootloader mode. (can you? Google on how to do it manually)
Or
Plug the phone in via usb if you had adb used on it and type adb reboot bootloader (hence if use toolkit you won't have this set up.)

I really dislike people recommending to send the phone back (RMA) to Google for a user's own (I'll be polite here) lack of awareness and understanding of what they are doing. This person should continue to look for solutions to get it working and if not.. well, to bad. Lesson learnt. Buy another Nexus 4.
Besides that fastboot should still be accessible. If OP can eventually get into fastboot then all will be well.
Go read read FAQ thread, will show yo proper way to get back to bootloader mood don't be lazy that won't help, agree getting to bootloader mode then fastboot proper n4 kernel.try it on other pc I'd you cannot in this pc,make sure you install the driver.

Now I connect my phone to PC, then Power + Vol- for ~10sec, my phone will had red led for few second and then off again.

To get into Fastboot:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So for all the people with Bricked devices all hope is not lost. Follow this procedure to get into Fastboot.
1) Press the Power button for more then 5 seconds to do a Hard Reset. This is where you screen is completely turned off.
2) Now take your LG manufactured USB connect it to the PC. Do not connect it to the phone just yet.
3) Holding the Vol Down and Power together and NOW connect your other end of the USB connector to the phone and then your phone should give you a slight vibration and you should see the Fastboot screen (Android lying on the back)
NOTE: Make sure as soon as you see then fastboot mode Let go of the Vol and Power Button right away!

Try this,
Did you ever get a Battery sign when you had it connected to the PC or AC for power?
Try this, I don't know if its gonna work or not but plug your phone in the wall receptacle for AC Charge and leave it for a while. On AC, the phone most likely, if completely dead, will stay idle but most likely jump back to Battery sign showing its charging or not.
When that happens, leave like that for a hour or two.
Let me know what happens. Good luck.

Start calm.
All you need is a cool mind now.
Search for the USB JIGGS available on xda and see if someone from your area has it. You can then take help from that person. If not then just go to service center, tell them that it stuck like this while doing software update and act like you no nothing about rooting our flashing. That will do.

Yes, offcouse.
Just let them be unaware of you knowing about root/cwm etc. just act dumb. If they get to know your warranty is already void, they will charge you money for repairing it.

The last 'n' only hope left is this:-
Install ur phone specific driver on pc.
1. Take out battery, sim & sd card.
2. Open odin.exe on pc.
3. After this, connect the phone via USB cable to PC(yes! without battery, sim & sd card)
4. Press the download mode combo keys.
5. While keep pressing all those keys, insert the battery now.
6. Now, odin should detect ur phone so that u may get it updated with stock firmware.

Put the rom on an USB stick, connect the stick to the phone with adapter, go into TWRP and flash the rom.
Easyest solution.

Worst case you can use Qfil.
But first disconnect all unneeded peripherals, and try another cable if possible. Go read the unbricked tested and working. Search the thread for my name, to everything you need in 3 or four posts

Go read the unbricking thread, it is going to take you days to read, understand, and finally unbrick it. If you are not seeing the device in the system manager of your computer ( Assuming you have a PC) then maybe you are actually bricked.
But, you own a phone that can be unbricked, no not a big deal. It can be resolved, the instructions in the unbricked tested and working thread are explicit go read it.
I create several how to's within that thread on unbricking, and have updated the links on the software tools needed. I have personally unbricked 7 leeco, and several others unbricked their phones by following the advice of everyone who contributed to the thread.
Everything you need and more is there that thread, waiting for you.
Go there get the files, read the instructions and soon you phone will work again. Do not download the qfil from the Original post...it doesn't work. I don't have the links to paste at the moment, nor the time to search for you Just use the thread search bar and type my name to get consolidated steps read through all of the posts, because its a progression.
There are three methods you can use to unbrick, the easiest method is probably Qfil, and Flash 2.0
Essentially you need the Qfil: le_zl1_qfil_ufs_fix , FlashOne2.0 files, go ahead and download prog_ufs_firehose_8996_ddr just in case. But it should download automatically. You need to follow the steps to get your computer ready to unbrick the phone...all in the thread instructions.
Once you do it once successfully, it will become easier with each try.

As i understand my phone is not bricked cause i can go into fastboot and REcovery. The problem is i dont have OS installed so i stuck at Leeco image. The other problem is when i connect the phone with the Pc this happens on device manager. So how i can make it to see the internal storage and put inside the phone the rom.

Install Google's USB ADB and Fastboot drivers.
https://developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb
Can you boot into download mode (I think it's volume down + power) and then connect to PC. After that, you should see the unknown device on device manager. Try to right-click on it and update drivers. On the next screen, select that you have drivers and you'd like to pick your own (not the Windows Update option!) Then select Manufacturer Google and Fastboot/ADB debugging option. Device might work in fastboot now, you can test by doing "fastboot devices". If that works, then you can install ROM via Fastboot.
If this doesn't work, you can revert changes by going into device manager and uninstalling the driver for that device.

Hi, sorry for the late reply.
Are you able to see these in screenshots? Between steps 2 and steps 3, you might need to select Android ADB or Android Device before you can see Google in the dropdown.
Maybe after these you might be able to see device in fastboot?
