Lfy rom v1.6 market crash?

Hey I've got lfy v1.6 rom with slayher kernal. Everytime I attempt to download something from the market, it crashes. I had this issue even after changing phones so its something in the rom or the theme. (Using tangerine) if it wasn't for the market force close this would be perfect. Any suggestions or known fixes I can apply? Anyone having the same issue? Or should I just contact the dev?

I know Liquid used to have minor updates for versions back then that covered market issues, but that version is a bit old. Try updating to Version 1.95. It's runs very smooth and I haven't run into any issues.

HTC Keyboard.apk

I have installed Gingervillain 1.1 rom on my desire which i much prefer over sense. The only thing i miss is the HTC keyboard, is it possible for me to get this?

search and install htc ime mod apk.

Thanks, I have installed it but everytime I restart the phone it switches back to the android one.
Anyway to sort it?

hi, mine does the same, im on redux though. I think its Gingerbread related, ive noticed that Docstogo app also loses its registration settings on restart. Just a small prob that needs to be ironed out of gingerbread roms me thinks.

Deffo not gingerbread related, im using cm7 and restart with htc ime still default. What launcher are you using ? Could the cause it ?

could someone explain to me how to replace the sms app in sense roms with the one from cm7, i have already copied the mms.apk from my cm7 rom but am unsure on what to do next, could someone please explain, thanks

I'll (try) to help;
1st: Using adb, push the mms.apk from Cm7 to /system/app on your wildfire
2nd: Reboot your phone and you should have the CM7 sms app
Do try and tell if you encounter any problems

Installing mms.apk like any other app might not work. (Says problem parsing the package).
And even if u replace it into sense rom.zip and flash through custom recovery, it might not work. Checked with an old sense rom. Don't know about latest ones.
Maybe due to the reasons,
CM7 is 2.3 Aosp and sense rom is 2.2
Sense Messaging app has sense HTC widget.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

yeah i tried replacing the apk in the zip and then flashing the rom again and it didnt work, just ended up with a rom without a messaging app but it doesnt matter ive started using gosms and that works a lot better than either in my eyes

Froyo keyboard optimized with gingerbread drivers

Using JVP and can't get used to the small keys of stock gingerbread keyboard.
Have installed stock 2.2 android keyboard but force closes on selection.
Could anyone point me in the right direction to get Froyo keyboard on JVP?

I'm using htc_ime 27 22(froyo) on my 2.3.4 miui rom latest version without any complains.
No fc or waits. fully working.
Downloaded from the htc desire apps thread.

Glitches in letters on Rom Installation

I recently installed a 3.5 sense 2.3.5 android build sometimes it has glitches on the screen. What can be causing this.
Also i want to update the market to the newer version.

does the thread where you got your rom from not have a glitches.fix.zip attatched,if not you need to search on the thread and type in glitches fix

because majority of them need a fix to get rid of the, i would take a look at the OP of the rom you insrtalled to see if the fix has been applied or not
