User joule0930 has just provided me with a nandroid of 357.
Here's the details:
Version: 357
Build: 16864
Region: 00 (Preinstalled)
Build Date: May 5, 2011
It was preinstalled on an unlocked streak sold in india.
Differences vs 347 (the last known preinstalled rom)
Stage UI 1.6
Besides that it's functionally very similar to 351, as the only major difference between 347 and 351 was stageui and bundleware
Download not provided because it is not a pkg
I can provide rest files. won't they be able to use those files in case they want to use them with nandroid?
They'll work to a degree, but stock roms complain if the baseband version doesnt match, and there's no easy way to dump the baseband.
So how can i get this rom if need?

Don't bother. 360 was released later on that month and has an update.pkg. 360 updated the bundleware.

This may be a stupid question, but what is the different between the JI6 update and the 2.1 update1?
I just got a replacement phone from T-Mob and it claims to have firmware version 2.1 update1 but the baseband version is JFD.
Or maybe I'm trying to understand what things are in baseband vs. what is in firmware. I assume one difference is that its easy to change the firmware, but that does not help me much.
Thanks
JI6 is latest and 2.1 update 1 is the old version
I really don't know if there was a pre release version 2.1 (without update 1)...
as far as i know, the very first vibrant came with 2.1 update 1 (or JFD), and that's what you have now.
You should get this updated to JI6...

There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers....
Eclair 2.1 update1 is the stock ROM that comes pre-installed on the Vibrant.
JFD is the launch version of that firmware.
The newest revision of the Eclair 2.1 update1 is JI6 which, I'm sure you've seen a thread or two about, attempts to fix many of the issues users were having with GPS/Sync/etc. If you realllllly wanted to simplify it, and I know this is completely wrong but follow me here, you have Eclair 2.1 update1(JFD). JI6 would essentially be Eclair 2.1 update1(JI6).
Since you've got a vanilla Vibrant, I'd suggest you charge up your phone and head over to the Kies Mini page to grab the JI6 update. Of course you could also wait for the OTA (over the air) update if you felt like it.

Hello good day Htc HD 2.2.1 update negative desire. Updated from causing a problem is found for the prediction, says the country may have taken the phone is usually no problem as far east countries, European countries, the problem of the devices. So how can I change the software of this event in the country (country code) program with. I'm waiting your help I need ideas to solve this issue.
Hi, I gather english isn't your native language.
Not to worry, I think I understand what you mean.
The 2.2.1 Android update for the Desire HD (DHD) was removed due to the issues it caused for a large number of customers.
If you want to have the latest software available you will need to root your DHD, apply ENG S-OFF, flash a custom recovery & then flash a suitable ROM.
There are guides available in the Dev section of these forums, I would post links but I'm mobile.
But what may be relevant to update the phone's takenDid he the country? I bought the device from hong kong.
please help

I flashed my x10a with the generic 2.1 rom today to prepair for the release of 2.3, but I noticed some new apps that I never had before, namely the moxier apps and some others (quadrapop and some art app) I flashed using the method listed here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746&highlight=flash+tool and I flashed this version "Generic version 2.1update1 build 2.0.A.0.504 (MD5: F3735BF4D48ED4BBA8BF5BC60CD1D34C)" I was wondering if anyone knows if the other two versions to flash for the x10a don't have any of these apps? I have read the other threads about moxier and I don't really want to root my phone just to get rid of it. I was hoping to stay with the generic firmware and upgrad easily to 2.3 when it comes out.
Dell Released another update for softbank streaks, details:
Version: 366
Android Version: 2.2.2
Build: 20516
Build Date: Nov 14, 2011
Changes: Very little, only 1-2 libs have been changed. Virtually identical to 364.
Biggest change is the fact it is a complete pkg, all previous softbank ones were binary patches on top of the previous softbank rom, which ment that if you modified your rom you could not update.
This update brings softbank updates to the same type as every other region, it requires nothing else installed except the correct recovery image.
any improvements over the last ROM?

thanks manii, its mean good news from u,
but bad news from dell
Not necessarily bad news.. Any official "updates" (Especially carrier roms) is a good thing.
It would seem that Dell only created and "official" gingerbread for a carrier (Either a condition or from pressure)
Unless I'm very much mistaken
So guys I have flashed TWRP on my Grand Prime Plus through Odin. And now I need to find a stock ROM for my phone.
My question is:
Does the base version (and build version as well) of the ROM you're downloading need to be same to what it used to be before??
This here are some specifications of my phone right now:
Android Version
6.0.1
[Marshmallow]
Baseband Version

Can someone tell me if the base version and the Build Number needs to be same for downloading a new ROM or not??
And where can I find the best ROM for my phone??
Edit: And does the region of the ROM you're about to download needs to be the same as the region you're living at? Does it make any different?
Also, how do I make a backup for the already installed OS? What do MUST make backup of out of:
Boot
Recovery
EFS
Cache
System
Data
Misc
Modem
System Image
I don't really care about losing data, I just don't want to lose my previous already installed OS while trying to flash a new stock ROM. So what do I make backup of out of the aforementioned?
Thanks.
Where is stock frimware link?
