Hey a week or two ago I remember coming across a ROM poll that had people vote for their favorite ROM.
I was wondering if anyone could point to that thread again.
I can't seem to find it.
Searching under ROM poll I didn't see it.

there are several polls, but the 2 most popular are the favorite rom poll and the currently using poll. the favorite rom poll is in the development section, in the Resource Bible thread. the currently using poll is in the general section.

Guys,
Looking through this thread, it is becoming increasingly hard to find the latest builds from our favorite chefs; JesusFreke/Haykuro/TheDude.
Could I put forward a suggestion that we create some Sub-Forums, moderated by said chefs, for there builds/news/related questions. This might make it easier to find the info we need.
Just a quick suggestion, wondered what we all thought.
Asked that from the admin and the simple answer is no =(
if you'd like you can create a thread, if you are willing to keep it updated, list all the cookers and their rom versions.
So to your question sub-forums will not be created, sorry.

Well no to sub-forums but why can't moderator like yourself make the Threads of new roms into sticky threads so they're always on top.

I posted a link to a list but a Mod deleted it. Not sure if it was because of general housekeeping or if it was because the list was on a google dev site.

As I was looking through vast amount of post on Magic forum I couldn't find straight answer to my question "Which ROM should I use?". I've read all pros and cons, bug lists and wish lists and still couldn't make up my mind. I bet I'm not alone.
I think a lot of us fresh Magic users is asking the same question. I figured I should ask all of you experienced users for your opinion. Keep it in one place for our descendants
Hope it helps and doesn't break any rules. Cheers
well try look at the rom bible thread, and try remember this is a genral question, this is not dev related better post in general before binary eats this thread

Was wondering if we can get a ROM section with all ROMs in one place?
That would be sweet.
The dev section is more or less a rom section.
I don't think a separate section is needed, but what would help is a common format to identify threads which contain ROM's. For example, starting a ROM thread with "[ROM]". Iced Glacier is an example of a ROM thread that doesn't follow that format and therefore doesn't stand out as much as it could.
Maybe a sub section within the dev area....
Have you checked out the Wiki?

Section 1.4 sounds like exactly what you are looking for.
Nice suggestion but no need to clutter the forums section as its already classified under Dev. Now I understand it maybe little hard for new users to get use to on what is what from thread title. But one must do research on howto and find it for themselves as if you brick it you are responsible for your own actions.
Best thing I can tell new user is they ask the folks in General or Q&A section to help them list stable roms and report their user feedback on pro/con about the rom this way you can get many input and ultimately flash it yourself and decide.

Realistically, seasoned users have no issues finding roms in the dev section, and new users shouldn't even be aloud to read thre dev section until they've been here for a while and have the chance to learn a little bit so they have a clue before they start trying to flash their phones.
Hi guys,
I saw a thread like this in the S2 forums (credits to beston94) and I thought it was a nice Idea!
Basically it goes like this:
I noticed that there are many people who keep asking which rom is the best for battery life, etc.... I'm sure that I am not alone in this, when I say that it's really annoying. So to solve that problem - I have created this thread.
At the top of the thread there is a poll - Which Rom do you use?
Edit: Realized I can't edit or delete the poll... Can a mod delete it please?
Edit: Once ~30 people have posted what rom they are on I will create a new poll with all the various Roms...
Every time someone posts a new Rom that isn't on the poll yet I will add it, that way the list will keep growing.
Instructions:
1. Post your rom name.
2. Post which kernel you are using.
3. Why you like it.
Optional:
1. What theme you are using.
2. Case.
Lock in 3...2....1......

Hi,
Is anyone working or know of some project to get an AOSP rom on the edge+ ?
Or even better, a Cyanogen port. I might be interested in trying that for myself but I haven't worked on roms for years, and never actually developed for android so I figured I'd ask first

Actually, searching the help / q&a section first would have been a better idea. All of the following threads mention either aosp or Cyanogenmod:

Not to mention the following thread only a few down in the list from yours in the General section:
