Does epic have a built in recovery mode?

yes you have to power off and press up up down down left right left right b a select start
.... or something like that

Is this how to load froyo on to your epic because I cant find any threads explaining how to put it on my phone.

it says i need odin? does that load odin?

Have u read the wiki? Are u rooted? click here for wiki do some research before must install clockwork after rootng....don't forget samsung drivers for your computer.

Look into a program called vmware workstation and you can actually use that to install linux within windows

Try virtualbox is free and is about good as vmware

[Q] How to calibrate the Touch Screen on custom rom

Got this phone from a friend and according to the software version it's running Gingerbread, on boot it's telling me it's Swift Droid, Cyanogen mod 7..
I'm very new to all this so I have no clue what this means but the touch screen is off calibration and I can't find the option to recalibrate it..

nope its an apk file so you just install it like a normal app on you sdcard

You need Java runner (andme_signed_2.0.3.2.apk) and transform your java aplication to .apk but I don't know where just now . I already transform my java aplication to .apk and work fine . But no every aplication will work fine...

What apps from ics dump which can be use for our tab?anybody already try to install and how it goes?hope can be share with us.What i understand,many feature are base from honeycomb and not from gingerbread...like rebranding honeycomb and sure one or more apps are suit with our tab.

I've tried a few but since the sdk is newer, I had parsing errors. I changed sdk to 14 to match ics and was able to install stuff like the launcher. Everything I tried kept FC. Only app that works for me without editing is the music app on my phone. Haven't got any yet to work on the tab.

Same as me,parsing error but i heard somebody alrdy got music apk work.i tried push apk with adb n same also with ur problem,fc,no luck for us

Android Police released a leaked version of ICS Google music about a week ago. It does not work on the tab unless you search for a specific song. It WILL work on phones.

[Q] Large apk file installes but does not run

Hi, I am using zte blade and i rootes it and flashed CM 7.2. Now when i install an apk less than 15 mb it works fine but when its size is >15mb it installes,but when i run it it starts loading but after a few seconds the screen returns to desktop,Help plzz!!!

Every apk whose size is >15mb...

I just reflashed my CM7 and now the phone works just fine
