I don't think so. Doesn't boost mobile use sim cards? I would look into the droid 2 global. It has a sim card I believe.
The droid2 Global is what you would need to use with a different carrier, if it is even possible, the droid2 regular edition only runs on the verizon network

I'm running my Droid2 on Mobi-PCS, a small Hawaii based carrier, so it is possible to flash to another network IF it is a CDMA network. The question is whether Boost is CDMA or GSM.

Boost is cdma.

I am new here to Aria and ATT. I was wondering if ATT can detect tethering on all Cusom Roms?
Sent from my HTC ThunderBolt using XDA Premium App
Yes... It's where the data terminates is how they can detect it. That and packet inspection.
I guess no one has figured out a way to stop detection like the devs on the cdma carriers.

ClockworkMod's new Tethering app is supposed to be undetectable -- although the app itself is not free (you can use it for a few weeks as a trial though) and it only supports USB tethering. Still might be worth a look: https://plus.google.com/103583939320326217147/posts/1Yy1jb9z4TA
You won't find it on the Market though because AT&T has blocked it. You'd have to sideload it.
Thanks. Pda supposedly has a stealth mode. I wonder how good that is compared to clockwork?

my HTC Aria rooted and using CY7 (nightlies) tethered to a laptop and to an HTC tablet with AT&T service. Didn't do it much, but did use it on several occasions, never had an AT&T problem..

That's nice to know. Phone is a work phone so want to be careful and sure.

Can I do this? I don't have service. So if I can't use the phone feature I'm fine.
Yep.

Wind mobile runs on aws band ....you will only receive edge network ..don't matter if its unlocked ....the only Canadian providers that run on the aws bandwidth is wind mobile and mobilicity I think . So you could switch to those providers or buy a proper bell , telus , rogers at&t , and any none aws band phone ....

I think unlikely but worth contacting them perhaps for confirmation on current & any future changes to their network.
you have EU HD2 or TMOUS HD2 (T-Mobile USA) !?
Tmo us hd2. Both said it should but I already spent 100 on att saying it should and it don't
Sent from my NexusHD2 using xda app-developers app
Done some digging on this & looks like your in luck perhaps with your TMOUS HD2 & the merger
