Outbox count not correct

Hey all
I'm running a nexus s Fido recently updated to 2.3.6.
My outbox count shows that there is something in it when its actually empty. I use Gmail.
Anyone experience this or have a fix for this?
Thanks

Gmail count issue driving me nuts looking for some help

Hey all I posted this topic a little while back but can't find a fix.
Since updating my nexus s on fido to 2.3.6 (unrooted) my gmail Outbox is a mess. It sends the emails fine - but the number beside the Outbox just keeps getting larger. Never resets back to zero. Even after a successful send. I've tried resetting the app data and even the device a couple times. I'm running the email on synchronize mode and i have multiple Gmail accounts on my device.
Has anyone experienced this issue and is there a way to fix it? I can't seem to delete the Gmail application to try to reinstall it and there doesn't seem to be an update available....
Cheers

Open gmail on a computer and delete the emails that are older and not showing up

Also, 2.3.6 is very buggy. Could be one of the bugs as well.

Must be a bug in 2.3.6......when I open up my Gmail on the computer all's fine...

[Q] Exchange Account Option Missing

I have the Verizon model stock rom rooted with TWRP installed. At random the email app stopped working and I couldn't get into the Exchange account I had set up.
I installed the updated stock 12b rom in the hopes it would fix the problem. Now the email app takes me to the account setup but I can only choose IMAP or POP - the Exchange option is missing. Are there files missing or does anyone know why I have this issue?
bump for help...please.

Hmm. I don't know what your issue is, but you can install the 4.4 email app and the exchange apk and rock it that way.

Set it to Messages & check if its still comes in email?
Did it... It's just the same. I'll add that the account in the email application has no link with my Google (so my hangouts) account.

Yeah... That was pretty much my reaction too
And no, for now I didn't reflash anything.
OK... I got it...
The android update seems to have activated the 'synchronize sms' option of the email account... i deactivated it => no more sms in email app...
Thanks anyway
in the e-mail synchronization you should disable SMS synchronization.
this exist in the Exchange synchronization option... I don't know which is used by you.
Yep, that was the solution!
