Hey..
I would like to try the TatFroyoSense rom, but with my current ClockworkMod recovery it says i cant flash it because the recovery is too new. How can i downgrade the recovery so that i can flash the rom ?
there is sticky thread "[READ FIRST] Roll-up Thread about Rooting and Flashing"
or just go directly here "[Recovery] ClockworkMod v2.5.1.8 / v3.0.0.5 (Updated 06.02.2011)"
and follow links... i think v2.5 should be good.

Or you could try as mentioned in the following post,

it's from the same thread you want to flash.

using this procedure
ROOT + Recovery + Flash Custom ROMs (update.zip)

I have installed FRF 83 today
I heve been waiting for OTA after FRF83 i couldn't wait I did this steps
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=636795
till Flash Recoverybut couldn't install Amon_RA's Recovery Image.
I tried Modacos superboot but I can't
I can unlock my nexus but ı can't install amonra's recovery moda and i cant root it
What can I do now?
(sorry to my bad English)
What happens when you try to flash amon's recovery?
Make sure to follow directions and that the install recovery script isn't running because it will over write amon's.

every time i try to root it remderd my device usless. I will have a fully functioning unit before then when i root the device wont connect to my carrier and it stays like that until i restore a backup.
So I flashed a new version of Ra's recovery, have the superboot installed, still nothing!!!
I am sure, this is a beginner question, but this is my first android device, so I hope you will forgive me.
I rooted my device successfully with Djembeys DEODEXED modified Stock Rom (i9505) and now I found this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2279082) where you can find Mods for i9505.
I am interested in the beats audio mod, so I installed the Goo Manager.
When I select "Flash Rom" the Goo Manager asked my to allow a CWM Recovery.
My questions are: What is a CWM Recovery? Can I install it without any problems? Can I flash the zip for Beats EQ after this is done?
Remember please: This is my first Android device (last was 3.0 HC), so please don´t punish me for so simple questions

You need a custom recovery, either CWM or TWRP, to flash mods roms or kernels. Samsung recovery doesn`t allow this. So yes, install the recovery, you need it.

Ok.. I tried... but it seems that there is no official CWM Recovery for my i9505.
Do I have to wait or is there something out there working?

Do you have CWM (ClockWorkMod) Recovery installed? If not, you have to go into pink screen, connect the phone to the computer, and replace the recovery.img with cwm recovery.img. CWM can be downloaded from the Android Development section of u8800.
no

Can you go to the stock recovery? Vol up+powerbutton. If you can download a stock rom and install it from stock recovery. Then root your phone, install cwm and then you can install custom rom.
yes

As far as I know and what i have research, the only rom recovery that can be flash to my LG G2 is TWRP and would have to use Loki to bypass the bootloader. Please correct me if I'm wrong in the information. I have the ATT version, software version is D80010o, and on 4.2.2 Android Version Stock Rom of cause.
Questions:
- Does the G2 have to have an unlocked bootloader to flash anything even if it is rooted?
- Is TWRP the only recovery that can be flashed to the G2? If so what is the "manger" for it similar to Rom manager with CWM.
- Is there any other way to backup your current rom without using any recovery, this is my main goal for the moment?
Note: I have check if it is compatible with CWM base on the website yet when i flash CWM with Rom Manager( not the touch support version) and try to reboot the Red Triangle pops up. I have tried with Flashify and download the recovery img to the sd and it comes up with secure booting error ( I'm not sure if this is because i flashed both CWM and CWM with touch at the same time with Flashify wasn't sure if i needed to flash both for touch to work or just CWM Touch)
Please inform me with the correct produces to follow or link me to a solution. Side note this is my first time with an Android device and my first Smartphone so I'm kinda new to this rooting roms, kernal, thing. Thank you in advance to anyone that can help. Feel free to message me through XDA. Thanks.
