Help: Wifi and various errors popping up after flashing kernel

I just gotten a DHD, and rooted it via Visionary, radio S-off with jkoljo's one click S-off, installed clockworkmod and flashed recovery.
then I followed sfjuocekr's guide and eng S-off, and proceed to install the kernel update utility into my PC, and flashed Buzz kernel v1.0.6 using the zimage method, and it was successful (says the kernel update app). Then I waited for the android to restart and upon completion, I pressed apply modules.
And now everytime i starts up my phone, i get the error messaging saying that Titanium backup, rom manager and flikie wallpapers has stopped, and I have to force close them. My wifi is also unavailable, when i checked into settings, it says wifi error.
Does anyone know what went wrong?
Thanks
I reflashed the kernel and the modules again, and my wifi is ok this time round.
But my 3 apps are still getting the error message, and this time round i got a message saying that my superuser is not responding and force closed.
I think that the superuser is causing all these problems, Ive reinstalled Rom manager and titanium backup, and when i tried to use titanium backup, it says it could not acquire root privileges, and for me to verify that my rom is rooted and includes busybox (which Ive done right at the beginning when i root my phone).
Im still able to access bootloader, so i guess i still hv root. Not sure why my superuser is not working. Anyone can help?
Thanks
I would always go radio s-off and eng s-off, it creates less errors and offers more flexability
Sent from my Desire HD Beastly Device
i reinstalled superuser app, and its working fine now.
Not sure why superuser was having error earlier on, but reinstalling it fixes everything.

Superuser force closes...

I rooted my B80 yesterday with the razorclaw method, and I have installed revolver with clemsys kernel. Whenever an app is asking for root, superuser forcecloses... Any solution to this?
What's version of SU using ?
If you've got a problem, you must use Su Update Fixer (on the Market), it's a good help apk
Well, that didn't work either, as the fix apk itself didnt get root. But I reflashed the newest SU version, and now it works.
Thanks for your help
next time just update the super user app on market. it work as well
clearing the super user application data worked for me.

CM 7.2 Superuser unable to grant root

On an old Sprint Hero with stock 2.1 Sense ROM, I recently rooted, wiped and installed CM 7.2. At first, Superuser was working and I was able to restore things like old SMS. However, after a day, Superuser is no longer able to grant root access to things like Titanium Backup or even itself. I tend to get a force close for Superuser when trying to elevate. I've tried downgrading the Superuser APK to the version that came with CM 7.2 (I had upgraded it). I've also tried booting into recovery to replace the binary su. Neither option works.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a way around it?
Try installing busybox from the play store also try updating the app from within the app if you haven't already

The problem was solved by downgrading both the Superuser APK and the binary file. I have root access again. For some reason Superuser 3.1 and the 3.1.1 binary weren't behaving.
Glad you got the problem solved.

i have the same problem

[SOLVED] [Q] Su not working on cm7.2

Hello, i have a motorola defy and i am running cyanogenmod 7.2 based on android 2.3.7
I have had my phone rooted for a long time now and never experienced any troubles but a while ago I've updated the superuser app via play store and apps just lost root permissions, for instance, root explorer displayed the message like it was the first time i opened it and thet it closed itself, i rooted the phone again using the break the cage (or something like that) exploit and it started working again with superuser v 2. 3.6 i updated the app again via play store and the problem came back, when i type su in terminal i get "permission denied". I downgraded superuser again and have root permissions back, but i don't wanna be stuck in this version, anyone knows how to fix it?
EDIT: I got it fixed by going to androidsu.com and downloading the latest su update zip and then flashing it in recovery, i finally updated superuser from market and voila, everything is working like a charm, if someone experiences the same problem as me do not hesitate to contact me, I'll be happy to help

Did I lose Root? (XT907)

I have the XT907 which was successfully rooted, so I presume(d). Last night I did nothing out of the ordinary. I plugged it in to charge, as it was almost dead. I woke up and took it off the charger, went out to smoke while coffee brewed, ran Clean Master app and it asked for SU permission (SuperSu). It didn't strike me as odd because I have it set so apps that update are required to ask for SU permission again. Only this time it wouldn't accept the permission I granted it. I tried again and it still wouldn't authorize (I was using the memory boost and I was trying to stop an app from auto starting when this happened). It told me to manually check the authorization in SuperSU. I did and it's listed there, all permissions granted. I ran RootCheck and it asked and was granted SU permission. I downloaded RootChecker just for a second opinion, and it too was granted SU permissions.
Before, during and after all of this, aside from the above mentioned Root checking app, I've downloaded one app onto my XT907: WiFi Password(Root). I needed the PW for my work's WiFi. It was denied SU permission. I've removed Clean Master from SuperSU, forced stopped Clean Master, rebooted Phone. Clean Master asks for permissions, is supposedly granted said permissions, but still won't accept them.
So two apps tell me I do NOT have Root on my phone, while two root checking apps say I DO have Root. I've not uninstalled or reinstalled anything or changed any settings as to get a further opinion on the matter. I rooted my device with KingRoot and uninstalled with SuperSU about a month or so ago. This is the first issue I've had. Any idea what gives? I'm a little stumped on this one.
It seems the issue is only with some apps. I've managed to fix the issue with Clean master by disabling SuperSU, re-enabling it then rebooting. Clean Master was granted permission and accepted it. So far I've not run into other issues. All root checking apps still say I have a proper root. If the issue continues, how about a reinstall of SuperSU? If I lost root, how would I regain it?
