Hi Dev Guys..
I was testing the CM7 build, but i need all camare resources working well.. Then, i was intended to rollback to stock froyo rom..
But, i like to play games like NOVA on milestone and, every know that multitouch is so worst on stock then CM7... I think is because the kernel used in this custom roms...
Then i ask... Can I use this kernel on my stock Rom? How Can i apply and find the necessary file??
My best Regarts to everyone that try to help me, i think this is help everybody...

Yes, the touchscreen in CM7 is much less sensitive, than on froyo, but less buggy also.
But as I know, CM7 is also built on 2.2 kernel, so, do not really think that you will have any benefit of CM7 kernel. Touchscreen response is hidden somewhere in hardware libs, so, it is very difficult to find and fix it.
Actually, i prefer a less sensitive touch but with a multitouch working fine..
Then, the point is... can i install that kernel or the gb leakek kernel on my stock rom?

Multitouch is not provided by a modded kernel, but by a kernel module (posted above). You can load it with insmod or flash CM7/MIUI to apply it.

Thanks Man!! Correct if i´m wrong.. If I apply this patch, that the propose is expand the multitouch limits, it will fix the multitouch issue in fps games, like NOVA ???

Hmmm... I think this mod is not fixing the MT bug unfortunately. It lets you expand the limitation of MT points but the bug will still exist. I've been using this mod, so I know that. Or maybe I missed something? Anyway, it didn't fix this bug for me. And now I am using the ms2ginger which is totally free of it

yeah, i had tested this module at the morning and nothing change in NOVA.. now i apply the CM7 1.5 RC and its so easiler to play...
lets contribute for the community.. =)

very nice rom. looks good. reinvents how a few things are done which is really nice. such as the recycle / delete of apps from home screen and the dialer, and the all programs pull up menu. this makes the rom / phone fun again!

figured i'd run into a few with touchscreen issues i'll upload another with kaos's kernel for those with prob with this one
i was haveing probs with kaos's kernel that's why i used darchstars i'll get a link up as soon as possible and i'll mark what kernel i'm using
u guys can use this kernel if ur having troubles with the kernel included in the rom
people who didn't have touch working in my other kernel that i released said this kernel fixed their issues

currently my phone is going upto 768 with setcpu going. i used auto-detect.

Today, we can use Froyo 2.2 roms with Kernel k10.
That mean:
- Overclock capabilities
- FPS cap unlock (no more limited to 33fsp) and every thing so smooth....
- Quandrant score at 1300 pts
- more ram
- Wifi Working
- BT working
- GPS Working
- Proximity sensor working
- Led Flash Working
- Dual touch Working
- Flash 10.3 enable in Browser
- App to SD Working
- Camera
only Video recording at 720P not working... hope it can be fixed...
I'm sure our X10 will get some more tweak, and some surprise in near future...
But today is a leap forward... !!!

Wolfbreak's 2.2, K010 kernel.
Taking photos in higher resolution than vga does now work?!
I think this will be the first custom kernel I will use. Now i just gotta figure out how to flash this.
Restoring backup of previous ROM. Even with patch I can't get wifi to work with CM Froyo of WolfBreak... Damnit, ROM was soo smooth and that stupid wifi didn't work.
I just wish there was a kind soul to tell me how to install Custom Kernel K10 on Wolf's ROM with Baseband 58.

hmmmm wolfbreaks rom works on .54/.55/.58 right??
In this case you'd need to flash a baseband patch (the cm6.52 one) and then the custom kernel

I am still running a tweaked 2.1, but without the tools created by our wonderful dev's here I would still be feeling like i was robbed by SE.
Mr Rusch Gave me the ability to push framework so i could have a circle... sounds dumb and simple - and my wife still cannot understand why i am so happy with such simple MODs!!
Binary & Androxyde gave me Flashtool. snm, i am free to make as many mistakes as i know i will, safe in the knowledge i can flash a 2.1 anytime.
Z, legend, gave me recovery. now i can save my progress in the effort to make my x10 Xceptional.
Many others here deserve recognition, RoseRed, OmegaRed, DoomLord, X10iUser (my first line of help over @ AF) MyImmortal, PlayGunsta, Flo95.........................

can someone write the procedure how to instal wolf rom with custom kernel on the bb 52 ?

1. Fresh install the stock rom with SEUS.
2. Root & install xrecovery using flashtool.
4. Flash the X10_52_ChangeBaseband.ftf using flashtool.
5. Reboot into recovery and wipe everything.
6. Install CM_6.1.3_[v006].zip.
7. Install CMFix_v6_v61.zip.
8. Install bb patch cm5bb49.zip.
9. Install 2.6.29.6 FX k010 froyo FXR busybox in xbin v06.zip (get it on the first page of WB's thread.
10. Reboot.

Yeah I take back what I said it works on stock kernel, though I don't recommend it.
tried this on j's cm7 20b
achieved avg 82fps...
it makes a lot smoother but also makes lag...for me
ive attached a signed zip with modified init.local.rc
flash this with xrecovery
hope it works

will test once my battery has more juice.
Tried on 2.1 optimized. No improvement on benchmarks and screen jitters badly. Also saw 4% bat drain in 10 mins, but that could have been down to trying to multitask wiv mod applied (wifi,BT,sync). If I can provide any further useful info let me know. B-)

I love trying out new roms, and i´m sure you do to. So i´ll test some roms, and then every week i´ll be awarding the best rom the title as Rom of the week.
But you guys, are also allowed to come with your suggestions and discuss which rom is best.

RemPuzzlerom. This is mainly because of its awesome features, including the new "Beats audio" thing, the fastness. Everything is just so fast and i just love Sense!.
This was a short post, but thats just my opinion. What do you think?
This is a great thread started on my opinion, i guess you will state issues and make comparisons through tested roms. Unfortunately, i don't have time doing this lately to do so, that's a reason i find it nice.

Basically, youre doing the same thing. You could, though, comment on roms in that thread to reduce number of threads on this subforum as its getting bloated with useless threads and we, wildfire veterans, dont like it, just like others who come here to search for useful info.

hey i flashed cm7.2 but its not working properly.when i first start using it, the status bar goes on force closing and i tried replacing its system ui.apk but then it continously says system ui.apk is not responding n then force close.
please help.....

Make a nandroid backup, wipe dalvik/cache/data and flash again (gapps also). Btw latest nightly
had this problem, are you sure you flashed the right file?

I've been a fan of CyanogenMod, so for now is CM7.2 RC1.
I tested some of the ICS Roms, but without the camera working, I'll keep with GB instead.

I'm not sure if this is the proper place to be asking for help, but, did you wipe (using CWM) before flashing the new ROM? That might be the issue here.
Also, back on topic, I'm another vote for Erwin's awesome CM9 builds, if you don't mind the roughness of it.

cyanogenmod is a CUSTOM ROM both are good the best is stock and creed rom 3.5

This rom is really good, and I think it can enable gpu driver on GY (I think).

CM is really bugged, wifi, 3g, graphics, bluetooth, and more (when I tested it). Is better to use Creed's ROM or ChobitsDigitalis (the roms i like most).

I dont remember where I saw it, but is so probable that gpu hw acceleretation can be enabled, since CM just run with it.
