Yeah it would take alot of work to get WP7, iOS, or any closed source OS to our phones, not to mention Apple would sue us lmao but it could be done if we got a ton of developers to work on it

Agreed. I will not buy the Evo 3D, or any other HTC phone, it they do this. I have been a loyal customer for going on 4 years now. My family has bought several phones, I got my closest friends on the bandwagon, and even got a couple of guys at work hooked. But I am sick of the bull****

Swyped from my HTC Evo with Eternal Prophecy 6.0 ROM.
Not that I agree on this particular issue, but think of how many replacement phones HTC has to send out because of people that root their phones and mess it up. I don't know how people do it, but they do. If I were apart of a major distributor in a growing market, there would be no way in hell I would send thousands of replacements, let alone allow a un-locked bootloader.
There are people that do this, every single day. The people at the retailer stores don't care about your issues, they just want the sale. If you bring a phone in and it is custom, or they find out you are unlocked, you're screwed. Your best shot is to lie straight to their face. It's sad that there are more people that keep their phones stock, rather than root, so HTC probably (IMO) won't give a squirt of piss.
Has anyone succeeded in winning a debate over HTC about an un-locked bootloader? (Any HTC phone)

Again, my original point remains. If we're here to talk about technology, why does it matter if there's 300,000 penises, or 100,000 penises and 200,000 vaginas? Does it really matter?
Unless the forum is going to start banning people that are a certain gender and turning it into some sort of gender social club, then by all means, have your penis/vagina bar chart topped off and ready with the latest statistics.
