Ive seen a lot of ports for the desire HD ported over to the mt4g.
Is there anyone working on this port? If not it would be a nice little port if we can get it.

Well don't, just because the HW is similar doesn't mean you can flash any ol ROM...Flashing a ROM that hasn't been ported or doesn't contain files for both devices, will leave you with the phone stuck on the splash screen only. No you won't brick it, it just won't boot, since the ROM isn't for the phone at all. The team has to port the ROM to this phone, that team or Unity might port it here, so just wait a bit more..

How did you add your own apps on the slider home widgets?

It's a widget. Only thing you do is delete it off the main home screen and add it again

Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any bricking they may occur. I have tested this ROM and flashed many times, although I have not experienced any bricks, it is still possible.
After flashing, let the ROM sit a bit for it to settle in..
Unlike my previous ROM this is sense based, I have ran it for awhile now and experienced great battery life, although unfortunately I have no screenshots. Please let me know how battery life runs on your phone as well.

Cleaned. Keep this thread on track.
After about a day of use I feel like it's a pretty good ROM. Not a huge fan of the de-paginated app drawer as you can still see the spacing meant for separate pages and often text is cut off at the bottom of the list of apps.
Like every Sense 3.0 ROM I have used, I feel the text and icons in quick settings are a bit too big.
Don't dig the 3D but it's a sense 3.0 thing not a ROM-specific issue.
All in all it's good. Haven't had any stability problems minus one reboot
Thanks, I am going to be looking into the app drawer to see if I can scale down the icons a bit in.order to have it alligned properly. Will start on it today after work and will keep everyone posted as I progress.

Apparently his OP claims that if you ask him first and give him proper credit, you can bake it into a ROM. You should check that out.

VU gives good life for a Sense ROM. But if you're truly looking for the best battery life, then CM7 or MIUI is your best bet.

I feel like we're just walking in circles sometimes..
The latest version of Androud that works nearly perfectly on the Wildfire is currently Gingerbread.
There is some work on an ICS port, but that has some distance left to travel before it's use-able.
And the Honeyfire ROM was and SDK port (don't really expect it to work), because the source code for HC was released along side ICS.
EDIT: Also the Honeyfire ROM doesn't look like HC at all, since they had to use the Gingerbread launcher and anything that has a vertical list (settings) force closes.
My tip: Get a HC theme for CM7 and install HoneyComb Launcher from the market.

We can kind of do that now. Are there widgets/buttons on the 5.5 blinkfeed for calls/texts etc? Kind of like Windows 8 I suppose.
Ideally, I'd want to be able to put a widget for battery stats, google ears, music and custom folder widgets. Then just scroll down for the feed stuff.
