I figured we could have a more positive thread in here so everyone post something they are thankful for.
As for me, thankful for family, friends and life in general. Thankful to have at least a limited supply of friends in this forum(adrynalyne, jt1134, aphelion, tats_06, bubs, shauder, the rest of you know who you are) happy thanksgiving guys!!

Well my mother in law really need a better phone so I can't wait that long. So if I'm lucky I will still be within my 30 days to get the gs2. But nexus s is geting ics

Dang, well Esteway.619, I hardly knew ya but I know you did a well help to our Epic4G development section and its really sad to know another great member of our Epic family has left for another device ;( haha. Because I liked him.
I just picked up a Galaxy Nexus. So if I'm not gone, I won't be around nearly as often as I was.
Thank you to everyone I met and shared experiences with.
Thank you for helping me learn about Android and get me to where I am now(I was a complete noob when I started )
Thank you to the amazing developers who made this phone amazing. We've seen way more Android versions than most, and we will continue to see more.
Thank you to Kennyglass123 specifically. You are one of the best people ever, and I was way too excited when you became a moderator. Keep it up, you're amazing.
Thank you to the contributers who help new users. Lurkers learn a lot from watching, and your knowledge spreads fast and effectively.

I'm Leaving... My Obligatory Thank You To Everyone!

Samsung not only sent me a new phone, they sent me the Galaxy S 4G.... I no longer have a working Vibrant. I will leave my guides up and try to check them periodically.
If I am able to assist ANYONE, OR if my guides need to be updated, please let me know.
This is my 4th Android device, and I have to say the Vibrant had the best of everything. I am very grateful to you all and hope to help down the road!

And all of that was a result of THIS community. I meant it, I consider myself lucky to have been a part of it. The pasture is not always greener... I can already tell I am going to miss the OG Vibrant - the 4G lost 15GB of internal memory.... that is absurd. I do not use a FFC, but the download speeds are about double... so I wont complain too much.

sad to see ya go s15274n, i remember it was your noob guide that got my vibrant rooted to begin with, and the rest was history, i know you'll help guide that section to its potential like you helped this one.

Although I have not personally interacted with you, have seen lot of helpful articles and guides from you. Makes me sad some of the most vocal guys and active devs are leaving lately. I guess it was just a matter of time. Vibrant being my first smart phone and still so much in love with, the feeling is kinda weird. I keep myself up-to-date with all the latest in the world of mobile phones and nothing has made me think of upgrading from Vibrant so far (except the GS II international). Wish you the best with Vibrant 4G. Stop by once a while if you have important android news to share, okay?

I'd like to have this thread be dedicated to all the veterans in honor of Veterans Day. Remember this. These men and women fought and sacrificed for what they believed in and that deserves more honor and respect than they can get in one day. Thank them every chance you get. If it weren't for them you wouldn't be where you are and have the freedoms you have today. I'm sure there are others and I'd like to hear from them to thank them as well but ones I know we should all give a thanks to is wildstang and jermaine. Not just for their great work they've given us ..... Because they wanted to.... But for their service to this country.... Because they wanted to. Thanks bro's for everything. Well its not... eh sort of just ordered my gnex today. Soo pretty soon here I will being jumping forums. Id just like to start an appreciation thread. I don't know if most people realize this but, this forum is in pristine organization. Looking at my new forum... it is SO unorginized so crowded, and people hardly get along. Here people collaborate, help, and inform. However we do have our flame wars.... but those are soon resolved. Also people here are very appreciative... I don't know how or what exactly I did to deserve 900+ thanks... but people sure do appreciate things. Anyways to wrap this up id just like to say thanks for the wonderful expierence with android and xda. Had it not been for the orginized and close-nit community we have here in the Epic 4g forum I would still be running an out-dated version of android or a bloated version.

I will be... since im in charge of compiling and updating the epic's samurai's kernel to help alleviate the pressure from earthbound and his gnex development.

Nobody truly leaves. I haven't had the Epic for 5 months and I post as much here as I do in the Nexus forum.

That is soooooo True!!! I don't understand why the other forums can not keep it like the EPIC 4G Forums. Other than the keyboard, Its one of the reasons I haven't jumped phones yet. Anyways, Best of luck to you over there.

So far so good... was on stock for about 10 minutes then rooted and flashed a custom rom and kernel. I was a little upset when I thought I bricked it... but figuring out what I did wrong I was set up in no time.
