How can I get my DROID X to display on my computer? And controlled with my mouse?
Sent from my DROIDX using xda premium
As for displayed on the screen I think the hdmi ports will do it along with an app called realhdmi or xternal display. But controlling it with the mouse im not sure that's possible without serious programming/hacking. And even then

Is this even possible?
Idea occurred to me randomly, just wanted to see your thoughts.

Wouldn't that require a bluetooth display? I don't think they make those.

Depends on what you mean by "full working"... there is an app in market called realhdmi it allows you to view anything on your phone through HDMI connection... only drawback is only TV will show what's current on your phone screen, as it is limited by hardware on phone (can't show both screens at same time) touch controls work but you have to guess where you are touching.

The OP appears to have a Bionic (dual core processor) based on his signature. Surely that must have enough processing power to display to the phone and TV simultaneously?

I knot that but i got another droid x and i just got my droid bionic and i wonder if i can have a full working hdmi on my droid X

Full HDMI? If you use a blur based rom you can use the app realhdmi and it will work but the dx can't mirror due to hardware issues

Also check out the free "Xternal Display for Droid X" app in the Market.

Is there a way to do hdmi mirroring

When on the stock rom, you can download the RealHDMI app from the Market. This should be what you're looking for.

Actually, I don't believe the device is able to have both displays working at the same time.

Is there a way to mirror the droid x through the hdmi output

Try checking out the app RealHDMI. I believe it gives you the functionality you would like.
Also, both apps require you to be rooted.

Try Xternal Display. It's free on the Play Store
So it keeps disabling bluetooth for whatever reason >.< this app works perfectly on my phone so I don't know what's up, any ideas?

It does that. Totally normal. Let it do it's thing, when it says listening hit the home button on the controller.
Not pairing? You need to run the tool on a computer to change the mac address that the controller is looking for.

Its not normal though it doesn't do it on my HTC one s and works just fine and leaves the Bluetooth on the whole time because it needs it on (duh). Anybody please helppppp

See it doesn't turn the bluetooth back on thus not seeing the controller >.<
