Samsung App Store

So, is there a way to get the samsung app store working on a Tmobile Vibrant? Ive seen a glimpse of it from the camera update menu but never seen an apk posted or anything like that. Sorry if this is a stupid question. I did try searching and couldn't find any relevant info..
Thanks in advance!

It was working on one of the 2.2 roms based off the i9000. I think it was the gothdroid kang or aospish rom from anderdroid. I still have it somewhere I think. Ill check.

Not to sound stupid, but I was never aware that Samsung has its own app store. Are the apps worth it? Any free apps? Thanks in advance.

Samsung has a app store?
How do I get it... ill keep a look on this post
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
yes samsung has there own app store similar to media hub and readers hub. its in /system/app on tmo froyo vibrant roms but only to update native samsung applications. on the i9000 its an actual app store with a few goodies in it, mainly asphalt 5 hd, which is free as are all from what i have seen. eugenes macnut series, which is based off the i9000 froyo roms has the actual app store.

[Q] Gingerbread KB?

Is there a working Gingerbread KB available for the Shift? The one I found on XDA doesn't work (FC's).
Did you try searching the market?
Maybe there might be a keyboard from android 2.3 there.
Looks like there are a couple, I'll give em a quick try.
Yea the market is where I got mine and it works very well..don't forget to donate

The App is nice but I like using the ICS theme for ADW Ex better. It looks nicer and it has the real icons. If only I could get a stand alone app of the menu carousel and the keyboard!

I strongly support this type of App Store to be in the web, which will help Millions of CyanogenMod users to browse and download apps in their own Apps Market.
I had already setup a Blog for this purpose, which aims to publish all information related to CyanogenMod Apps. It is good to hear that App Store include Rooted Apps and the apps, which were banned by Android Market.

Eclair launcher

Just wondering if there is a free eclair launcher? There is one in the play store but its not free. I tried pushing one from another rom but it didn't work.

My mistake...
Really I wasn't asking for a cracked or pirated app. Just wondering if their was either a way to make a stock eclair launcher work and/or a third party launcher that will work. Please do not assume I was asking to steal anyone's work.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA
For the record I do not pirate so I am slightly insulted that you would come to such a conclusion.

Well your OP does sound like you're looking for the free or should I say... cracked eclair launcher...

I was asking for an alternative, I am sorry maybe I should have specified. Take for instance I know of three gingerbread launcher in the play store 2 are free where as the other charges $2.00. I also should have made a seperate question is there a way to make a stock aosp launcher compatible with gingerbread miui? It was my fault for not wording my question properly.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA
I've just closed the report. Just to clarify, I share the OP point of view, about he is asking for a free alternative rather than a cracked version.
Thanks to both users who enforced the forum rules compliance, but I think this is just a misunderstanding
Glad that got cleared up. I just looked around on Google for awhile and couldn't find any free, non-pirated eclair style launchers. Looks like you might need to shell out the $2.
Why doesn't the launcher2 from a 2.1 Rom for a different device (found in /system/app) work
--sent from my glacier.
Alright sorry OP, my mistake...
Have you tried taking out the eclair launcher from a eclair ROM (if you can even find one...) And installing it as a system app? Make sure permissions are set to rw r r
Also...out of curiosity... Why eclair lol

Maybe he picked up a phone running eclair and said, "Hey, that's a nice launcher." I've done that before. Not with eclair specifically, but the same principal applies.

Honestly just wanted to go old school lol. Paying $2 isn't a big deal its just well it's not like I plan on using it that often or for that long. I like to change my themes/launcher often. One of the reasons why I love Android over other OS's
About pushing the launcher from a previous rom and pushing it to the system/apps via root browser and adjusted the permissions and it didn't work. I didn't try to use adb..up until recently I didn't have adb on my computer until a couple if months, so I am still very new to it.

A little late now but that has the stock eclair launcher.
I still can't figure out how to push it successfully, set permissions to Rw r r then used root browser to push it to system/apps am I missing something?

I flashed darkside cm7 and it did install but with force closing everytime I hit the home button. I do kinda like the swype up motion to get to the app drawer, also like lewa(spell check) any similar launchers like that?
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA
Also is there a way to make miui look like froyo or earlier? I know their is a CM theme, but I see nothing for miui. I am far from a pro much closer to noob lol. I just want a stock Retro theme at the moment while still using miui. If not guess its time to reflash CM
