my ease of access feature dose not appear in my setting. i search the net but i did not find any thing related to this subject. how can i get the ease of access setting back..
i have Omnia 7 set to US market and it is really strange

Did you guys work this out at all?
On my sammy omnia 7 (mango) I've unlocked it and put in the settings to enable the hidden feature in the ease of access menu...but...the actual ease of access entry on the settings menu still doesn't appear at all.
Any help much appreciated ;-) Would even donate a tenner for this one and hope some others would too

unfortunately though...unless you want to use USA as display language, and enjoy the voice out of the handset only, not headset ... it's not quite ready for prime time imho. But oh so close.
The text reading aloud etc is much more mature it seems.
So now I say, willing to donate if anyone can get the audio to route to a bt headset ;-)

Afternoon all
Have had my XDA Exec now for quite a while and have learned quite a bit from reading this site every so often.
Still, there is much I would love to be able to do, the most important of which is switch my internet back on!! (I miss the sports results when on my commute!)
I was advised on many ways to speed up the use of the Exec - thanks everyone who contibuted, it is much appreciated.
The only thing I miss from having reset my machine to corporate mode is that the internet does not work.
Is this supposed to happen? I suppose more importantly - can it be changed without having to go back to personal mode?
I cannot express how compuer illiterate I am - please just take it for granted that there are better educated rocks.
To this end - please be gentle!
I realise there is going to probably be some sort of line of code I will have to change or a download I will have to put into operation.
I know it is a lot to ask, but would anyone be so kind as to give me the most basic way of getting this to work?

I do not know how to do this, but if you are after an answer to your question then use a better thread name (use the thread 'edit' option)....
e.g.
How do I enable Internet access in Corporate mode?
You do not have the connection settings installed.
Either a) Phone up O2 and ask them to send them to you as a SMS over the air update.
b)Log onto the O2 website and get the step by step instructions there

This is my first post at the forum. All my other questions have been answered via the search function, so I'm very gladfull that all of you know this awsome machine so well.
Actually I do have a rather challenging question you everyone who is reading this forum.
When I'm talking to somebody on the telephone, normally keeping it to my ear. Now I would like to open my agenda en start writing in it to schedule an appointment. I would the system to switch to handsfree mode as soon as I slide open my keyboard? Is there a way to do this?
Did somebody maybe found an upgrade for this?
For instance, I know that when you open the Nokia 9300 while calling it will transfer to the speaker function?
Well, maybe someone can help me solve my little issue.

Thats a very good question. I had never thought of that, but it would be nice, although not essential as switching to speaker is fairly quick and easy to do. If there was a reg hack or util to do it, it would use it for sure.
I know what you mean, i use it most of the theme this way. i bod a Bluetooth headset for this problem. but if there is a way. It wil make me happy
Have not seen a hack for this - just hold down the call button as you slide the keyboard open - that will do it

hello, im woundering if theres a application or tweak or SOMETHING that let's you Choosing between WiFi or GPRS(your connections) when internet connection is required... and the option to turn it of.
i've been looking for a thing like this for months but have giv'en up. if there's a developer out there that is interested i would like to donate for it, i REALLY neeeeed this kind of app.

Saw yesterdays American dad episode when Stan was searching for his phone which he had lost,and he had set it to vibrate mode and therefore he could not call the phone... his wife "said" something smart
"why cant you just invent like a code, you dial the phone and enter the code and it switches to another profile" something like that...
Now a phone-call couldn't be possible, but how about via a text-message?
I'm not a programmer so i don't know the limitations of the API(?) in the TD but it should be possible i.e scan a (incoming) text-message for a specific code and then call a function to switch profile / turn up the volume

Hi guys. This should be easy for someone with experience so hopefully this will come in handy for a lot of 'new to windows mobile' types like myself.
Ok so the issue - start up Internet Explorer. Go to say... ebay.co.uk and check your accoutnt for example. Then the fun begins. I want to ask a seller a question. In classic view this takes a while to load (ebay mobile won't even allow you to do this function by the way!). The problem is this. Buttons are missing on the screen. Certain ares of the selctions are not showing. Bottom line is i can't click on ASK QUESTION to continue. Guessing something is needed like java or adobe flash but i'm not going to start adding things at random and by guesswork.
So can someone advise what is needed please, if anything? Maybe a setting i have is incorrect?
Sorry for the semi-vague details as far as the technical side goes. If you need a bit more clairty then please just ask and i'll try to better my comments.

Try using a better browser, e.g. Opera Mini. The built in IE has many limitations.
I experience previously with internet banking where IE fails to send Login id and passwords but Opera Mini works.
