Ok so yesterday I had android miui on my phone and everything's working fine. Today I decided to install wp7 on it,dual booted with android. I sorta failed at partitioning the SD card because my phone was not cooperating like in the tutorials. So after completely formatting my SD card, I tried again to install wp7 alone, and it had a sim error. So I formatted again and went back to NAND android only to find that the android also cannot read my sim...? Someone please help I don't know what I did to mess it up!! Also, with the previous android build, and this one, my g-sensor is not working. Any fix? THANK U!

so downloaded a build from the forum and was naive enough to not look at the other posts. looked at this site - http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/how-to-install-android-2-2-froyo-on-htc-hd2-easily/
and just copied the extracted files into the root folder on the sd card and launched clrcad and then herat. screen came up where it seemed the phone was doing something but is now stuck and seems hung - for the last 20odd minutes. should i have upgraded the radio, formatted the sd card etc. what do i do now? is it safe to put the phone off, maybe take out the battery and will it work when started up again? any other simple steps i need to follow before i try this again?

You can take out the battery it won't harm it and it will boot to winmo.
I had the same problem I just flashed the radio again and android works again from sd boot.

I flashed WM 7 on my HD2 and partitioned my SD card and everything is OK, thanks to you guys and the tutorials in this site. But my problem is that android can not boot from my SD card. I tried several android ROMs and the problem is the same.
I have 6 android ROMs that have perfect arabic support but none of them is working for me. So, is there anything I can do for these ROMs to make them work with WM7?
My MAGLDR version is 1.13

Sorry to hear about that, did you change your radio by any chance? That's the first thing I thought that could be stopping android from loading unless I am wrong.
Hey guys, I need some help with my shiny new brick. So I had android running on the phone from nand. So one day while using it, I decided to clear my information from it within android (Settings>Privacy>Factory Data reset). Anyway, this completely F'd my phone. So what I did was try to install a new nand android rom, but that did'nt work either. So then I said let me go back to windows mobile. THAT WONT WORK EITHER!!!
Where I am now:
HSPL installation is successful when I try it (spl version 2.0.8)
Windows mobile stock 6.5 gets stuck at 8%
Task 29% gets stuck at 0%
flashing any rom from the sd card doesnt work either
I feel like I've tried every approach, to no avail. I've read over every thread known to man with this problem, no answer. They all say either task 29 or flash the stock rom, neither of which are working here.
Currently the phone gets stuck on the Stick together screen, then just resets again.
Any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated.

Question... was it a recovery zip or direct nand rom?
Try reformatting the SD card fat32 from the computer, write a fresh image file to it and try to flash from SD again. I don't know why but if I don't reformat the SD card each time, my HD2 never takes a flash. It might not work for you, but it's worth a try. I hope it helps.
Hi guys,
Today i decided change my hd2 from android to wp7 and see what it is all about. So i installed yuki v2 rom,did everything what was in instruction. Later I found it a little boring and decided to go back to android. I read that first of all i should unlock my card with cab by sending it with cab sender. When i tried to do that,my phone has stuck. I reset it but it started reseting every time at wp7 splash screen. I tried to reflash wp7 rom,but in the middle of flashing i got error and phune stuck. Is there any chance to unlock my card on pc? If not, how can i flash again?

No, as of now, it is not possible to unlock it through PC. You can either reflash the rom till 7392 without the sd card in the phone, then hard reset the phone while restarting put the card back in. Upgrade to 7720, install the unlock card cab and unlock it.
Or else, if you have any nokia phone (with Symbian S60 5th Generation OS, like E71 and some others), you can use that to format your sd card.

So my problem, I downloaded Xperia Beta ARC installed it seemed that everything was fine, used the storage alterer, since then my sd card doesnt work in any device! iv not been able to flash another rom or anything to my HD2.
So i tried the HD2 Android NAND Toolkit and task29'd it.
now im stuck on the loading screen just sits there does nothing. i fear iv ruined my HD2 any advice would be great. iv litlary tried everything! im not going to be able to use the sdcard anyone got any ideas of flashing a rom to the unit, i tried to get wp7 onto it but keep getting a error.
Any help much appreciated.
update -
trying downloading win 6.5 exe see if i cant get it back to original state! fingers crossed. could use a program to fix my SD card as i think its just a partition issue.

yes well it would do, you just removed the rom by task29'ing.
no clue what the storage alterer is, so cant help, but simply entering magldr, then from there cwm should let you flash a rom (once you sort teh card out, of course)
EDIT - oh right you used the toolkit, which also removes magldr(that isn't always the case), so you will need to flash that again too, , magldr - cwm partitioning - new rom.
To be honest, iv tried everything to fix the sd card, but its just a bit gutting its working then next minute its destroyed due to partions! will just purchase a new one and see how it goes!
Got the windows 6.5 onto my phone, im hopeing i can now go to win7! until i sort out my SD card issue.
