I was trying to play a MKV file that was 480p and all i got was continuous pixelation and lag. Does this phone not support 480p or does the player not support it?
Where can I download this, it doesn't show up in the market and the website points me to the market...
Sorry to be off topic, but that reminded me.

Looks like they just put a new version in the market. Works fine for me now that I finally found it.
Have you tried the new version?

So I got a bunch of hd clips I want to combine together. What would be the best way to go about that and what is the best software to use, that keeps the hd quality.

Here are a few suggestions for video editing software capable of HD. I didn't look at all the specs, but it's a good starting point for ya'.
youtube videos and other streaming video websites look like absolute crap on this phone! its hard to see anything at all. everything is all pixelated.
I have used the youtube app, dolphin, and skyfire(for flash videos) and it all looks the same.
what gives?!!
Hmmm....HQ settings in YouTube app ftw?

ya but why would i need to do this. this also wont fix other streaming videos
Well, no Android phone is going to give you hq video in the browser. So....sorry?
Also, I'm not understanding why you don't understand why the hq video setting should be needed on the youtube client...
Maybe you are confused and didn't realize that it defaults to hq only on wifi?

I think the video player is based on TouchWiz..its shouldnt be impossible to port it...but you might have to port the entire TouchWiz..also your thread topic says EVO not Epic..lol
I have a video player on mine since the froyo update.
I also have the video player app on mine, didnt do anything special to get it.

I have always had a video player app on mine. Its just semi hidden. When you play a video through the gallery it uses the video player.
Lol yea I mean epic, evo on the brain I guess. There is no video player app/shortcut in the apps drawer, I can play vids via gallery but I cant see the name of the vid in the gallery

EB13 has a video player app. It's in apps labeled as "Video Player." Has a film reel as an icon.

Would it be possible for a dev to mod the movie studio app so that's it exports in higher quality audio? That damn app is so limited but the one thing I can't stand is the low audio quality of the exported videos.
