Games for Gene?

Can HTC Gene play all the games for WM 5 or 6?
It does not have a full keypad, so I wonder is it possible or not.

Pocket UNO and Worms world party. I dont have the links.
But I am sure you can google them. I found em the same way.

OK, but I wonder how do you 'Play' as it doesn't have a full keypad.

Touchscreen and the available hardware buttons do a good job. A game can lock all the buttons except power button when its active and these for its own purpose. Its not that any game that runs on other phone will run on Windows Mobile Devices. Games are specially designed keeping these devices in mind.

Asphalt 4 is a gr8 game running on gene...

I downloaded Dungeon Defenders. The game is optimized for Tegra Chips. You should give it a try. Awesome graphics.

How does Dungeon Defenders play without multi touch? I mean is it hard or can you manage?

Please be patient but I tried to find threads on downloading game angry birds but stuck. The problem is that I need very basic directions. It showed downloading but how am i supposed to access it. 2 arrows in upper left corner did i download it twice. Any help appreciated or will have to wait for my nephews to help. Read manual but this is my first wifi anything. Thanks

Nvidia has a new app for tegra. It's called tegra zone. The app has all the new games and apps made with tegra in view.

asphalt 5 if you on 1.3 is great

I just put dungeon defenders on this device and it is pretty cool. I am a total newbie to it but graphics r sweet. Seems to draw the power but looks amazing. Now I just got to learn this new game.
Thanks for the news of the tegra app. I would have never known. Very cool.

Bought it on my evo, should still like to know why I couldn't find it on the a7 though.

I was trying to reply to the person who couldn't figure out how to install Angry Birds.
But while I'm here...
I love: Fruit Ninja, Angry Birds, Paper Toss, Pinball Deluxe, Untangle Space Out, aTilt 3D Labyrinth, Ancient Frog, Slots Royale, Bubble Blast, Jewels... (yeah, I'm a chick)...etc.
I'm having a blast and spending way too much time playing games!

I like Dungeon Defenders too, but after few waves it becomes unplayable

I tried guerrilla bob on CM7 but it wouldn't even launch, are you sure you got it working on this phone, and playing well? If so, with what tweaks?
BTW fave games currently:
1.DynamoKid Touch
2.Forbidden Brakes

5.space war/all my enemies (space shooters)

Maybe you use wrong version. I use 1.0
But sometimes it turns off :?

AFAIK, every O1 is able to play nfs shift smoothly. But you should also flash mik's touch fix kernel for a better experience.

It's not possible bro .It would mean extra money for them to invest on an unsure market and also extra optimising for dated hardware .
Considering the fact that Gameloft is originally making games for iOS and all games are ports from it , it would mean Gameloft would have to optimise games for Armv6 . Since Iphone has Armv7 since Iphone 3gs , that means 0 chances .
The rezolution , well they might add a pack to resize games like EA games do , but still they wouldn't be able to warrant that all their games run well on our device , THUS AN UNSURE MARKET.

Nfs shift works like charm on P500 if you do what zeemar007 said.

9mm HD -Perfection achieved!

I wanted a game to take the advantage of the tegrq 2 chip in our systems. Saw 9mm by gameloft out there. After downloading 850mb of game data i started it and I was blown away! I cant compare it directly to gtq vice city or san andreas but i can say that it is like a hybrid in terms of graphics and the gameplay is similar to the max payne series pc. This is one game you cant go wrong! Please check out the screenshots in the market section. Highly recommended .5

It is a pretty good game so far. It plays great on our tab. I got it free when I bought Modern Combat 2.

Are you running a custom rom? I've got rooted stock, tried 9mm with and without Chainfire, and the game runs in redscale (looks just like grayscale but red to pink)

Nope, running rooted stock, no funky kernels or anything. No Chainfire either. And certainly no red hue...

I beat the game on my phone and I loved it so I bought it for my phone few days ago. First install I get the pink screen. Second install it worked great. I was running stock 3.1 rooted/stock kernel. Yesterday I installed 3.2 rooted and 3.7 UV OC kernel and now 9MM kicks me out after the logo intro. N.O.V.A. does the same thing since I had 3.1 installed. So yeah I don't know what's going on with Gameloft but they need to up their game or something. All of my other games run no matter what..

Bought this game today but i cant download the full data for it, gets to about 680mb then quits. On restart it says wants to download additional 275mb of data but restarts around 550mb then quits again at 680-ish, round and round!
Any suggestions?

I can suggest that you download it from a wifi network.gamelofts swrvers are freaky!

hi plz any one hellp me i installed 9mm 1.0.1 on my note...and downloaded the sd data from pc and placed it in gameloft/games/Gloft9MHM
but wheni open the game it says you need to downloadthe data..
why plz any one help Thanx in advance

Games....

While most games work I have a few that don't.
Asphalt 5 or 6 don't work... most likely a build. prop issue.
Heavy Gunner has an xy axis issue that is reported to be an ICS issue.
GTA III does work.
Has anyone moved the build.prop to get more games to install?

Not sure about build prop but I can say that Nova2 HD doesn't work (Gameloft sucks), Shadowgun force closes sometimes. Dead Space, Temple Run, Angry Birds Space and N64 emulator all work well.

it works on mine...try to download the latest version, try the HD version, i'm using it.

GTAIII only barely works for me. It ends up freezing the controls, so if I was running, he just keeps running as I am still touching the controls. The controls also seem to lag greatly causing me to get my butt kicked when I am trying to mug people.

i'm considering buying this tab and games if definatly an interest. Was wondering has anyone tried a PSemulator on the tab? Wonder how that would play with something like say, FF7 also curious how Mini Motor Racing plays on the tab.

I removed it and re-installed it. Still doesn't work. It downloads the levels, goes to the PopCap screen then hangs forever, sometimes it makes it to the next screen (Loading...), then hangs.
I can't find a HD version, just the regular pay for version. It works just fine on my Atrix 2.

Real Racing 2 doesn't work. It installs but gets a server error 5002 when launched. I bought the Tab just for this awesome game!

I got a bunch of Gameloft games to work, by changing the build.prop to Galaxy Nexus. Same GPU as our tab, and high resolution, so the games should be optimized. Unzip this and overwrite the one inside /system/
Make a backup first, this might cause problems down the line.
EDIT: Yeah this kills sound. So, after you change your build.prop, download the games, install the data and restore your backed up build.prop. Sound will work again. The games will also still work.
There is an app on the market called "Device Spoofer" that makes this process easier.

Put sims free play on it for the wife to play. It runs really well considering its almost a gb of data downloaded.

Grand Theft Auto and Plants vs Zombies both work great for me on CM9.

I downloaded the plant vs zombiesHD version which was around 2 mb , later when I installed and launched the game it stopped working the message says "unfortunately plant vs zombies has stopped working" so any suggestions for this problem

That message you got is called a "force close" Some apps do this s8metimes especially if there are many apps fighting for Ram, thats when you need the multirasking butt8n, which looks like 2 frames with an overlap, selecting "Remove all" will clear up Ram.

PvZ works great for me, I am using version 1.3.16 with included data files to sd card.
however, it is always asking for network, just for starting the app.

GTA 3 work fine for me CM 10/1 and aopk oc kernel :good:

do you guys experience any lag in games on custom or official firmware and which firmware is best for gaming? I will get gtab 2 7.0 in few days so I thought it would be good to ask.

Nop, i can run Modern combat 4, GTA, dead trigger, spider man etc perfectly without any lag, using cm10.1 but with a official Rom it should the same.
