What are the requirements for using using 2-way live Qik Video Chat. Can i use tmobile tab app to call to iphone 4 or does both devices needs to be android based? and does qik be installed on both devices?
thanks,
I use my Tab and call my wife's Epic. Both have to have the app. If the app is available for the iphone you would be able to call (ver.4)

I'm diggin it, sure beats using the browser. Hopefully it works through the firewall at work so I don't have to worry about 3G being up to speed at that time.
edit: bah the ads still suck though... now I'm hungry for a mcchicken
About stinkin' time.
Looks like the app was removed from Marketplace. Anyone know why?
it looked ok...

Hi hello guys!!
I recently download the vevo app 1.0 and as it's installed it asked me for an update and linked me in market were I can't found the newer version.
Actually the issue is, as I live in Europe and that vevo is exclusively for the US & canada costumer , I do not have access to it.
So I spent 2days looking a in web for this newer version of the vevo app but in vain.

also, conference calls are possible (but I don't thing with videochat - just plain voice conference), if you are not the host, i.e. if you are invited in. Other than that, I have found everything working.
But: As the HD2 doesn't have a front-facing camera, why should it be able to videochat? All I can guess is, that you will be able to see other ppl, but I don't think, that you will be able to use your backfacing camera.
Anyone get the video chat feature working (not a flashed version of Google's 2.3.4 gTalk)?

+1 but have only used calling my wifes SgS2
Well, Skype was just purchased by Microsoft for 8.5 Billion, so lets see what happens to Skype having FFC support for Android... If its on the roadmap, it will still see the light of day but for how long until M$ starts to mess with Skype?
Are you guys calling other SGSII only?

I used qik and called my friend on his iphone 4
And I am sure you looked Crystal Clear while he looked "OK"...
Does anyone know of an Android video chat app that can connect to Live Messenger / Video Kinect? I'd really like to try video chatting with my daughter through the Xbox once I get the SGS2.
See: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1059150
Fring works brilliantly for me
