Not sure which it is, if its the rom or the radio so that why I posted both.
But I do get phantom calls from 000 000 0000.
Not a huge issue but just curious if its happened to anyone else.

I'm not familiar with that rom. Is it sense or aosp?
Edit: Nevermind, I figured out what it was. Unfortunately I can't help you. I've only read on how to fix this on AOSP ROMs.

Hi all
I'm running Dutty 3.3 ROM and I've noticed a problem that I can't seem to fix.
I'm not sure what's triggereing this issue so I'm not so sure its my ROM but at 11:54-11:55pm at noght my phone freezes and wont respond until I reboot, obviously this is annoying as I use my phone for my morning alarm.
I have installed SKTools and cleaned my duplicate notifications, thinking perhaps there was a conflict. This didn't work.
I'm thinking there is a service that runs just before midnight that freezes my phone, but have no idea what, can anyone suggest any ideas, or perhaps someone has experienced similar. I have searched the Dutty 3.3 ROM thread and can't find anyone else with the same issue.
Thanks in advance.

There are a few, including me who have experienced this. Crackwhore is looking into it. If you go to the thread and you can answer Crackwhores questions it may help to get a solution
thanks for the headsup, I re-searched for 'midnight freeze' and found all you others with the same issue, I have now re-reported in the Dutty 3.3 thread.

there is a fix posted but it did not work for me. if you do go back to 1.5, id highly recommend the pancake rom, super fast rom! search for it here.
nothing worked for me neither...just have to reboot sadly.
I think I know what the problem is.
I believe it is there media process crashing, and it might be from the voicemail application (though I'm not 100% sure that it is the cause, and it does not need to be running for it to cause the media process to crash)

I don't have a voicemail application installed, so i doubt thats the problem

Hmm, well I know the voicemail app crashes at the same time, it might be the media process crash makes the voicemail app crash (not the other way around).
HI,
Firstly this started 5wks ago out of the blue.
My problem is I cannot hear a voice from an incoming call!
I can be heard on both incoming and outgoing calls
It has worked on a couple of occasions for a few seconds but is very distorted and sometimes you can hear them faintly in the background for a few seconds.
Works fine on speaker and headphones.
I’ve tried numerous roms clean installs, swapping kernels …blah blah blah
I’m at a complete loss and its driving me friggin crazy!!
I have a Logcat of me making a call.
I’m hoping that someone will be able to decipher and point me in the right direction.
From what I see its routing audio to speakerphone and not handset??
I don’t know if this the correct way to post a log…if not go easy on me…
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
+Thanks for taking the time to look.
As you've tried everything else - did you also try another radio?

Hi,
the only other radio I have tried Leo_RADIO_2.14.50.02 and sadly the same.
Just about to install Dorimanx new rom + kernel v1.6 (Fingers crossed)
Thanks for taking the time to reply...
EDIT: Installing new rom+kernel has made no difference.

Weird idea: flash a stock HTC WinMo ROM to rule out hardware error.

Considered that as a last resort.
Haven’t yet looked into it, was hoping that I din't have to go down that road.
I’m assuming that there is a fare amount involved in doing so?
Cheers
Edit: Installed WinMo NRG Energy rom and have the same problem!
I'm now assuming that this is unfortunately a hardware issue
Thanks Dr_Grip for input - Appreciated

hey,
maybe anyone can help me, since i installed android. Its been a long time btw but i got some problems when i get calls or want to call someone. Sometimes everything works quite well. But sometimes, when i pick up or the other persons picks ups, after a few seconds the call interrupts with wired sounds.
I dont know why, got somebody else similiar problems? or does anybody know a solution to fix this issue?

slim ics 4.2 with mount2sd
Don't know much about the issue. Try fixing permissions.
If that does not work Google robot voice!!
Sent from my Nexus One using xda app-developers app

The radio is the latest version. Flash it.
And disable dial tones of your rom. they should be in settings somewhere

Yeah i updated it yesterday. I'll see wether the problem is still remaining. Dial tones are off. This is the first thing i did. Hate those sounds
But my question is, did somebody else got those problems? I searched forum and found only one thread, but there was also no solution for it.
#edit
Okay, i googled "robot voice" didnt know that this problem was called like that. Like i wrote ill wait wether the problem with the new radio rom is still remaining. I have to wait a few days and chech it.
thanks for all your help
So I switched to GB from WM65 and found it's pretty slow but usable. I don't have time to switch back to WM65 so I'll stick with GB.
Now, one big issue I have is the phone app (not wifi app, just plain phone). When I dial a number, the screen goes black to prevent pressing the wrong button with your ear etc. Problem is, I can't get back to the screen, meaning I don't have access to the dialpad. Annoying when you're on queue and you need to press a key to get to a menu... like repeat a message on your messagebank for instance.
Second issue, is after the call, the phone is frozen for about a minute or two. Nothing responds. Then it comes back alive.
I haven't found any threads on this, though users seem to complain about wifi calling, which is not my case.
Anyone has seen this ?
Txs.
Can you please tell us which ROM that is?
I know that this issue was fixed, but maybe your ROM is just too old. Or maybe the developer didn't include the fix.
I had this problem with almost every gingerbread build on my HD2.
Im not sure what's causing it, but i fixed this issue by installing screebl lite from play store. While this app enabled, phone would wake up normally after a call in 99.9% of the cases. You should try the same.
Strangely, i don't have any issues on ICS or JB roms.

Okay, I have looked throughout that thread's pages, and it seems that you're not the only one with that problem. So apparently the ROM doesn't have the fix (which is weird, because tytung almost always fixes everything in a rom before moving onto another one).
You're better off changing the ROM, or maybe trying to figure out what is wrong with your device and those who're facing the same issue.

Well, the fix wasn't a flashable zip, it was implemented. It was a problem with the proximity sensor if I recall correctly. And since I don't use this ROM, I can't really help you much.
I tried googling the problem (it's fun, you should try it) and this came up : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1376251
Your sensor/screen could be dirty making it hard for the proximity to detect. You can try another non-GB ROM and see if the problem is still present.
I am sorry I can't help.

Right, I'll go with the hypothesis that a dirty screen hinders proximity sensors. That should affect a black screen DURING a call (issue I'm also facing) but that should not affect the phone once the call is terminated, should it ? What I mean is, in my case, when I hang up a call, I can't use my phone for a couple of minutes, until it comes back to life. I will get a new "screen protector" and see what happens in the meantime though.
As for a hotfix, seems odd there is none out there. Thanks for trying.
