MY-UI cyan
finaly a complete relise, no major changes mainly theming. mizui and Frozen winter theme eliments used, new boot screen and some changes in apps. original web browser is back as i was unhappy with the porformance of opera when running from system files. a stable vestion of miui player added instead of ttpod to keep the miui theme. original file manager reinstated.
This is a full relise and I will now be working on a more complex rom.

3d gallery is replaced with picturen.
Music player is now ttpod.
Dialer is now touchpal.
Browser is now opera mini.
Also added
LG keyboard
Kik messanger and whatsapp.
The reason for this is to give you a free messaging service, the best being kik, but also whatsapp that is blackberry compliant. I'm also avalible on kik for quick questions.
And many other changes I've probably forgotten to list
UNDER THE HOOD
This rom is deoxed, rooted and running v6 supercharger. A few other minor changes too.
Im also including a theme for tencent launcher that will bring all icons inline with miui. I would advise you use it to get the full effect.
This is still a test rom so not everything is finished yet. but only a few things are left to do.
How To install.
kpn or kpn based rom needed.
Install cwm.
Flash zip with cwm.
Your done.
Notes
Rom apears slow on first boot while system sorts its self out, dont panic!
This is still a test, stable but a test. An early relise if you will.

About the apps, have you tried to update them via android market? If not just try it... If there is no update available then just reinstall them...
I had the same problem when cooking a rom for myself... & updating them solved the problem....
They work fine. But the minute i move the to the system apps folder they force close.

Yeah. Rw-r--r-- still no change. They work fine installed on the card. Its really odd. I thought it might be the gallery apk interfering. But even tryed removing that to no effect.

you need to put the libs files from quickpic in /system/lib.
if you do this, it should work

To put miui launcher on would mean porting miui completely. Its my first rom, not that good. Tencent that im using is the closest i've found. Will give the look and feel of miui fairly well.

Use meizu theme, pick a MIUI theme for CM7 (you can find that in Android Themes & App section), then we can port the beautiful MIUI theme

Kph because in kpn i seem to get massive sod's. My peronal choice would have been the chinese rom in the forum. But im trying to keep it easy and simple for everyone to use. Kph seems more stable. I havent had one sod since modding.

Sry, i don't want to offend you. But i think a lot of people have less problems (like SoD's) with KPN. I think KPN (or maybe now KPO) will be a the better choice

You can Get Info i general section or By Google those script,Mods,in general tweaks are made for theming apps/to make device faster / to mod somepoart on a ROM
You didn't understand me bro I'm a developer so I know too much about kernels, mods, etc.
But I'm asking about this rom: is it odexed or deodexed? Does it contain any built in scripts e.g. yours lagfree? Framework patch?

I tried to boot doing v5 flash + update and it hung on bootanimation.
So I reinstalled v5 rom only, reboot. waited, rebooted again and installed no frills cpu and made sure the freq was at 998, then installed the smoothness patch and all seems to be ok expect for the stock battery icon in the task bar.
is there a way to edit tweaks for more speed

use framework-res.apk from v4 for circle battery (ask sum senior to make a zip for you if you cant)
otherwise use the edt tweaks app to set percentage beside battery

I'd rather wipe clean with new rom. Why not have the best performance? Between titanium backup, sms backup and google backup, you can have your phone back to normal within 10 mins of flashing.

Tried testing on CM7.2
Installed zip, flushed dalvik, fixed permissions, restarted phone.
Audio FX Widget keeps crashing the media player. Can't play any music properly. And when it does manage to play after force closing Audio FX, there is no bass at all. Tried adjusting EQ using Widget but that crashes the player too.
I am quite sure I have done nothing wrong. But I checked the original post to be sure. It does NOT work on GB. Heck a simple Google search shows a "does NOT work on GB!" as a statement in the original AC!D post.
Short story, this is not for GB based ROMs or at least not for everyone. And thank goodness I had backup -.-

I did flash it in recovery mode and everything.
Aah well.. Till more GB CM7.2 users test this out, we will never know for sure. In the meantime I used a mod from Motorola Defy forums and it worked , The Audio FX widget there did not crash this thing and it is working quite fine. Maybe your mod works for stock GB better than CM7.2 based ones. That is a possible and very understandable explanation
Possible options for the people for whom android sgy's mod doesn't work. I suggest you give it a try though before trying the one below:

Pretty hyped for it because I like ICS stability but JB looks, so once the guide comes out, I'll take a look at it.

And IMO dont you think making this included in a ROM will put many ICS users in a sad state, what if they love the ROM they are using nd they'll hav to flash the whole new ROM again (personally I dont care about that much ) I know you guyz can do it but you guyz should also make a flashable zip or just pushable apks..

Oh, what I meant was hard coded into the actual interface, not an app that does it for you. Really, it's just a flashable zip with the modded SystemUI.apk (for the method that is on the XDA portal). For the app mentioned above, just install it

make compatible with your rom using android kitchen

If I remember correctly, Andy's Phoenix rom had Miui like toggles, maybe the code from there could be ported to an ICS rom, it wouldn't completely change the whole rom, but just the SystemUI and Framework-res. I unfortunately don't have the time to learn smali and do something like this. A head full of java and c# is enough for now lol.

Morph Package
Hey friends this package helps you change the UI of the ROM without having to flash the ROM all over again.
Mind it the package is created keeping in mind this ROM only and not other ROMs.
To be true it can be used to change theme on other ROMs as well but will simply add the New Files to system and may not delete old UI Files.
If used over this ROM it will delete the old UI files and install new files...
STEPS:
1. Install zip from sd
2. Choose from sd
3. Select Package.
4. Choose what UI you want.
5. Done... (No need to mount anything)

Its a must have for mee too, but due to work pressure and shortage of time I have left it for the time being. Will look into it once I get free....
However the widget and Torch app work, so you can still enjoy the flash-light...

Expect something new when omega_warrior returns. A new rom, from our side. Btw, a little surprise. I'm releasing a ported ROM to our ace tomorrow (if possible). The ROM is ready but I'm awaiting permission from the dev, he hasn't replied yet. Stay tuned.

no not even force close it does not open even when i click on its app nothing happens

Suggestions:
Delete CMSTATS.apk, CMUpdateNotify.apk, Pacman.apk, Protips.apk, Samsung service mode.apk
Include themes and widgets with AROMA (in order to save space and improve theming experience)
Add a gallery app >>> QUICKPICK WORKS FINE FOR ME
Hide by default Devtools, Spareparts, Theme and Superuser (you could change it by simplesu files )
