kind of a noob but like to play
currently running gingerdx v.010
when i reboot or turn off, and swith it back on it sticks on the boot animation (where the blue skaterdroid is surrounded by the swirly arrow thing) it stays there and all i can do is guess where the unlock slider is, unlock it then press the bottom of the screen untill the emergency dialer come's up. this is the only way of getting onto the phone
is there a quick fix?

also i get this after every reboot. "sorry! process system is not responding" ???

That thing has also happened to me once.
do a full wipe after that instal ginger dx v010 again!

Dosnt matter if its bricked or not but try flashing your phone back to its original firmware and reinstall the rom

No i didn't brick it as it was still fully functional, just slightly "dodgy" when reboot'ing
Now i have Gingerdx v011 i have yet to see a problem this is running flawlessly

Hey people, can anyone please help? i flashed my X8 with [ROM] MiniCM6-1.0.0 *Released*, Froyo Cyanogen 6.1.3 port for the X8, all was working fine 'til i tried to install busybox, it failed so i rebooted my phone to try again but all it does now is reboots past the SE logo, then past the Cyanogen mod screen and onto the phone lock screen. after that i try to unlock the screen by swiping right then it comes up with a load of crap saying "force close" this and "force close" that, needless to say i get no home screen or nothing. I've tried rebooting and tapping beft button to boot into xrecovery but nothing happens, it just reboots as if its not installed. Can anyone please help me at least get back onto 2.1, I cant even mount via usb as the drag down bar wont come up to mount. have i buggered my phone?

i do a factory reset on xrecovery and reflash with the boot looping rom and normally it then works try that before restoring
1. Factory reset
2. Reflash
if u can delete the system and cache
need assistance ---defy just rebooting and rebooting
i installed the rom amanger premium
after that i installed the 2ndInit from market for android and installed the latest version .....and after that i uncheck the usb debugging and restarted the defy
since then its auto rebooting from logo to black screen and back to logo ....
please help me i am new to this and really pissed off .......

Check if the blue led comes on during boot and press down volume button then check the settings if not you gotta install a another rom I suggest nordic ii with cm7 cant go wrong

hey guys,my first post here....
i am stuck with the infinite reboot loop from moto logo after i tried the 2ndinit install.my phones just a month old and i can use it now
i can get into the stock recovery menu by pressing -vol while booting,nothing is making any difference there.
if i press the +vol key while booting,it goes into bootloader menu,but it says battery low,cannot program. i had just rooted my phone and was trying to take a nandroid backup when this happened.
please help save my defy :-s

Im not a expert nor its will be t best solution, Recharge your battery on another device.. Next , try first turn on defy with vol press down, when android signal logo appears, its not boot logo..., press up & down at same time, then wipe data.. It will reset your data. Another solution its flash any sbf of your taste with rsd lite. There is a tutorial for defy beginers on stickies & defy wiki , its contain all info you will need

i update to cm 7.1 a month ago and i added my phone number in settings.....
and when flashed the sea15 froyo of my country , the phone number is still there .....any help on how to remove it stock rom or else have flash back cm7.1 to erase it ....

im having the same problem month ago i cant figure it out , after installing 2ndinit and the led turn into blue i reboot my device but it keeps rebooting over and over iv been searching xda fourms for one month now for a solution but all in vain , im stuck with 2.2.2 froyo i can't install CM7 or MS2Ginger , i've heard that i have to install bootmenu or something but im not sure how to !! btw once i click install recovery in 2ndinit it says success but i still can read 2ndinit recovery NOT currently installed and when i try to press uninstall it says there is nothing to do!!
please if some 1 can help me it would be a life saver for me

i have a question about problem i have with my DEsire HD.
I've turned my device of last night and i tryed to put it on this morning, but its freezes at the white Backround Green "HTC" screen. I've taken out the battery and gave it another try, but it still freezes the same way.
I thought i can fix the problem by Updating from revolution hd 6.1.0 to 6.1.1 but at the installation with recovery mode over boot laoder ( power on + vol down ), i get an error Status 7.
I've searched google and found you have to super wipe your device and wipe the cache, ive done this and now i only can acces the Bootloader if i try to get to recovery mode, the recov mode loops.
Is there a way to unbrick my dive over H-Boot USB Plug?
Get the sdk, go bootloader, and do 'flash recovery recovery name.img'

If that doesnt work, you could always redownload the stock 1.32 rom [Download link here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=905003] and paste it onto the SD card. When booting into bootloader it should re-install the stock rom. You'll have to re-root and install recovery again.

Think I've bricked mine, when I attempt to power on, nothing happens except for 5 short battery vibrations, black screen, green battery light stays on. I have a back up but cant acces recovery to install it. Please HELP!!

Does it respond on your USB connection ? Take out your SD card... Most unlikely it became trash what were you doing before it went black ?

This has happened to me a couple of times, remove the battery and leave it out for a couple of minutes, reboot and voila (although it might not boot to OS, you should at least be able to access recovery)
Hi. DId you fix the issue. I have 2 devices with the same simptoms, i flashed stock rom, custom roms, but nothing helps. I think problem is in radio, cause even if i flash it from fastboot and it gives me that ok is OK, radio version didn't change.
is there any update abt ur problem

guys is there anyone have any idea how to resolve from this problem.
download a stock rom(like this http://hotfile.com/dl/122907083/4aeb4fa/RUU_Ace_Gingerbread_S_HTC_WWE_2.50.405.2_Radio_12.)
go to bootloader and run .exe file
the rom will be install
re-root your device

Hi I was running last CM7.2 on my Defy device and everything seems fine till now
I crashed on Camera app (half green screen appear and does not react at all) so I removed battery to restart it and from that time it does NOT even boot, it shows the google screen and that is all !
Do you have any advice what to do, for example how to flash the rom even it does not come to the boot menu?

Can you get into flash mode thing by putting usb in from computer hold volume up and turn it on because you could flash a new sbf with RSDLITE.

I recently was playing with some ROMs with my LG G2, seeing which was the best for me, and along the way, I messed up and now I am stuck in a fastboot screen, with nothing but a little bit of white text on a black background that says "Fastboot mode started, udc_start()". I have no clue what to do, and I really need some guidance. I played around for a bit and now I believe the phone is completely wiped. Can anyone help?
bump, can anyone help? Im dying here.
Hold down power for 15 seconds. Then hold power and volume down till white screen appears. Press power 3 times. Should be in recovery now if you had recovery installed.

If this does not work you can revert to stock by downloading orginal firmware in .kdz format and flash it with Flashtool

help.. i tap something that i forgot in ... may be in "##4433386368# - Developer menu*" or somewhere(Sprint Dialer Codes) now i can't connect to my computer... i'm not allowed to post ... so ....anyone can help me ?
You need to first download the kdz and lg flash utility with drivers.
Install drivers
The factory reset deleting system, cache, internal sd.
Then shutdown your g2.
Start to downloaded mode connecting your g2
Flash kdz & voila... Done
I too bricked my phone before. My flashing stuck at 49%. Recovered using above method, all is well now
This works 1000%. I bet on it. Just remember to wipe the phone completely before flashing. You will return to stock with unrooted status in download mode. U will have your warranty back too
