Anyone ideas on how to replace the standard black htc sense or non sense statusbar with the white/grey vanilla bar like in this example?
If you're running CM7 you can use the RetroDroid theme.
I would take a look at the ultimate online kitchen.

will anyone make a metamorph theme for desire? or can we just use nexus one themes?
Would like to know too.
Now we finally have s-off but we have nothing to use metamorph to.
Nexus themes work well. Applied Galaxy S status icons and the battery icon to RCmix v6. The original theme is for CM6, but all it does it replace .pngs

im most cases metamorphs aren't device bound ...
Hi Guys,
my Girlfriend updated her Legend to 2.2 today but now is a little sad, because she is no longer able to change the Background-Image of the Lockscreen (the one you have to drag down...). On 2.1 she could use one Image for normal Wallpaper when in use and another for the "lockscreen", now on 2.2 if she changes the Wallpaper, the lockscreen-image is the same...
Is there any way to only change ONE of them as it was on 2.1??? Maybe any app or something??
Thanks for Help,
BigD
They changed that?!?!
Sadface...
What I'm more interested in is if we get the Desire's lock screen.
So far, it SEEMS we're stuckwith the collapsing effect of the original Sense.

Maybe you should have a look at Lockbot or Lockbot Pro. Also try widgetlocker. I havent tried any myself but they are best known for lockscreen customization. Good luck.
Also, do you now get the Desire style fading pulldown of the clock pull bar on the lockscren? Does it fade? Or does it just slide and collapse like Legend 2.1.
Is there any way to get the gingerbread screen off animation onto the mytouch 4G without having to use a gingerbread ROM?
My reason is because i do not want to go to CM 7 because i like the fact that sense has the lockscreen image, so i use iced-glacier (with ADW EX) and keep my lockscreen. But im really liking that screen-off animation from gingerbread, so is there any way of getting it without having to get a gingerbread ROM?
thanks for any help =)
Bump?

thats not part of the theme, thats apart of the gingerbread rom, if you say your on defrost then you should have, if you dont try turning on animations.

I was wonderin' if there is no zip to have that effect ....

Hi, i am looking for something that can be in a ROM or a launcher for my droid x that is or like htc sense. I really want to go back to blur, but i stupidly messed up my framework.apk file waaaayyy to much and i dont know how to install a replacement framework apk file.
If you could tell me about a sense like ROM or launcher or even just some help with replacing the good o'l framework-res.apk file it would be soooo apreciated
P.S. im also a dev so feel free to PM me for a beta .apk file of a bluetooth chat app im working on
Would launcherpro be a sense like launcher?

no, im really looking for that lovely black notification bar and that classic dock. also if u have any suggestions it can also be like htc sense esspresso
I don't think there are any htc sense roms for the x, at least i haven't noticed... and if you want the black notification bar, just flash a rom as i think most have the black bar... and i guess use launcher pro and i think there may be a dock that looks like the htc sense dock.... (i think)
