I created some partitions for the Spartacus Kernel awhile back. I'd like to remove them now. I've Odined back to a stock ROM but they are still there.
Not sure but maybe backup everything you want from your sd card to your computer and then format your sd card.

I tried formatting the SD card and that did not work. Thank you though.
Any other ideas?
Any help please?
There is free partition manager software available online that you can download to your PC to manage any partitions on your SD card (and PC hard drive as an added bonus).

So I want to format my sd card because I have a 16gig sd and put all my apps on the phone and its still half gone. I have no music on the sd. My question is, if I format/erase the sd card will it screw up my rom managment? Also in my root exsplorer there are files I am unsure wut they are. Any thoughts?

Please guys help me to fix my 16GB memory that always deletes files(some files) inside my memory card.
Everytime I try to format using HP formatter it says 'device is protected'.
Please post some advice to make it work again. I still believe there's a solution.
Thanks in advance!

I dont see anything wrong with the title.
I can format the sd using any other tool except to HP formatter.
And yes everytime i transfer my files from 4GB memory card, after removing from the computer the contains of 16GB are not equally the same as to my 4GB sd. For example i copied my titanium(folder) back up from 4GB and transfer it to 16GB the folder becomes empty when.try restoring. Even my music files are automatically deleted after placing the 16GB to my phone. Thats the situation.
But the other files remain inside.

I did not use my memory card for 10 months, I have some data in it, but I lost the data but the memory card is still working. Can I get the data back?
so i just got a g2 that has had the screenrplaced and is on android version 2.3.4 and the sdcard says sdcard blank or unsupported filesystem i have formated te card in computer but wont format in phone help needed
It has to be formatted FAT32 I believe. You could have a bad SD card. Have you tried another SD card to make sure that it is indeed the phone and not the card?
I have the same problem. Tried with multiple cards.

What brand/size/type is the card? Is it SD or SDHC? The G2/DZ won't support SDXC cards (i.e.; >32GB), if you got an SDXC card it won't be supported.
hello. yesterday i had issues with my 3 years old 2gb micro sd card. it didn't mount, i got the message "it had beeb removed" , and blank sd card. i thoght it was time for an update. i bout an 8 gb micro sd card but it doesn't seem to work either. it says damaged/blank sd card and sometimes it only works when i choose to format it. i tries formating with pc and didn't work. i also tried formating data, cache and dalvik cache but that doesn't work. i want to install the 2.3 official update but since sd card is not working i can't. so i'm stuck. is there any way i can flash 2.3 withoud ex sd card? i tried using other cards, but they don't work too. if i get it to work , when i reboot the phone the same message comes up

What ROM are you using?
By the way, android needs to format a new sdcard so it can be used to store data on.

aurora ics. i want to get back to stock 2.3.5 cause can't stand the battery drain any more but i can't as bootloader doesn't recognize the sd card
So your sdcard is pretty much completely dead? Can your computer recognize your SD card? If your pc can recognize it but your phone can not then you should send your phone to service. Also try reformatting the SD card and installing Aurora ICS by doing a clean install through your internal SD card.
EDIT: You can install zips from internal SD card using TWRP v2.5.0.0 by forumber2.

Hey. Thanks for your reply. Yes computer recognizes the card just fine. I tried formating the card but don't work. There are times when card is being recognized but not for too long. And that happens to recovery mode. Can u give me steps or link to flash rom via internal sd?

Ask someone on the u8800 forum. I have a u8800pro sorry. I'm assuming that you have to move the zip into your internal memory, then install twrp 2.5.0.0 and choose install zip from internal memory.

yeah, the thing is that i cannot use my internal memory. when i try to download the rom from my phone it asks for sd and when i try to move rom from sd to internal sd it says error. i also tried to make my internal sd card "external sd card" but when i try to safe the system/etc file it says it can't be saved
Why don't you download the ROM to your computer and move it to your internal SD card with a USB cable?

I realised it is my new sd card. Its micro sd too but a little different in shape. So I just used a tape to get it well attached to the port. Now everything works good

Hello.
Have same problem Froyo 2.2.2, micro-sd to phone and nothing. Show SD card space Unvailable. Done all what found in internet, formated to FAT32, factory reset, hard reset. All internal sd files still on phone, is this normal or factory reset don´t work normal? Phone works but wanna root it and install custom rom. Phone touch screen was cracked around 2 years ago, untill today it was on box and unused. Ordered new touch screen and had plan to make it working phone again but now problems. Don´t remember, is it rooted or not but recovery are not installed. Also have wifi problems but thats other topic talk.
Installed stock 2.3.5 but no changes.
