Internet sharing stock files/cab request (can't connect)

Hey after flashing my tp2 (Energy rom titanium w/manila 2.1 june 19 2010 rom) and installing a few cabs i cant get a connection to the share my internet connection by usb on my pc. I don't know if it was the rom or the cabs i installed. (Im using T-mobile data, epc.tmobile.com)
Under the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Comm/InternetSharing in the settings folder there is a file named: "Default", data: "value not set", Type REG_NONE. Under the status folder that same file is there along another NAME: Enable, Data0x00000001(1), Type REG_DWORD. This is when i have the phone connected to pc and using internet sharing. I think my registry might be messed . The device is recognize that is trying to access the internet on the PC but it just doesn't establish the connection. Can anyone help me out? Is there such thing as a stock internet sharing cab or if some one sent me their registry files would that fix the problem? Thankx

[Q] Lost Wifi Router after trying to switch to android

I loaded the CM Internet Sharing file to my HD2 several months ago and it has been working just fine. Recently my friend was trying to load Android to my phone and was unable to do so. After messing with my phone he some how lost my wifi router file. When I click on the icon I get an error message stating "The file 'CMInternetSharing cannot be oppened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If problem persist try reinstalling this file."
I tried to reinstall but it will not allow me to. Any ideas on whats happening here?

[Q] wifi problem - 802.1x EAP network

Hi,
I'm running CM7 (2.3.4) v.138 HACKDROID on an X8.
I'm unable to connect to a 802.1x EAP network, despite the fact I can successfully connect to WEP protected networks.
I was able to the 802.1x EAP network fine when running Froyo... but since I installed CM7 v138, I lost access.
I can get just fine to the point where I enter my credentials, but after that it is like my credentials aren't valid and my phone tries to conect to another network.
Any thoughts on what I can do?

did you change tiwlan file for faster wifi for x8? with 802.11N ? cause I have similar problem and I think I solved

No, I haven't done anything like this... was just hoping it would work out of the box.
Can you please point me to the referred file?

move it on your sd card, then with root explorer copy it and paste it in system/etc/wifi (if there is no such folder "wifi" paste in it system/etc) then go to settings and from there delete all remembered wifi network,then reboot phone and it should help. if not change rom and then try the same.hope helped
p.s you should turn on RW or root explorer and anyway save your own tiwlan.ini file which you'll find in system/etc or system/etc/wifi.(move that on sd card and rename tiwlan1.ini or smth)

Can you connect now?? how??

From my experience i can say that 802.1x EAP (eduroam connection with cert.)for me is working only on gingerxperia v7. On diferent version(DX 12-18, GX 8-12) i cant connect. I try change files from v7 (system/etc/wifi) to another roms but it was not working (files from v7 are little diferent than in other roms). So i must say that only option for me to have eduroam connection is rom gingerxperia v7 which isnt the best nowadays...

Does anyone have a solution for this??
I have the same issue on my X10 Mini running MiniCm7 2.1.4 (Android 2.3)
Is there a way to copy files needed for wifi from a previous ROM? Android 2.1 was working OK on wifi 801.2 enterprise. So I would like to copy files from an Android 2.1 Rom (e.g. Stock rom) to my current ROM. Is this possible? Which files do I need to copy?
I tried already
system/bin/wpa_supplicant
system/bin/tiwlan_cu
system/bin/tiwlan_loader
But then I get "Wifi error" after enabling Wifi ...

[Q] How can I connect to ad-hoc with custom rom

My tattoo with nFinityGB v1.09 can find an adhoc network but connect it.
I tried many way such as change "tiwlan.ini" and "wpa_supplicant.conf"
,but finally my wifi just go broken.
Sorry for my poor English,and if there is anyone can help me.
P.S. My AP is Ubuntu with an USB Wireless LAN card.

PC Connection app for ClougyG3

Can someone upload their pc connection apk for cloudyg3 for the d802? Ive accidently deleted mines and cannot find it anywhere. I cant remember the exact apk name but it might be pcsc.apk. Without this I cannot connect to PC, any help is much appreciated
