Hello Everybody,
My sister is in USA and she bought a Motorola Flipout from Amazon. This is the title of the product : Motorola MB511 Flipout Unlocked GSM Quad-Band . Ok, now she wants to use it in Romania but a guy on Amazon wrote that it won't work only on AT&T or T-Mobile because with his orange sim, MotoBlur won't activate his phone. I was thinking when she comes to flash an European firmware. Would this fix it? Thanks.

With a Verizon motorola droid pro xt610 cdma is there a custom rom to install/flash so that it will be unlocked to work here in USA on tmobile sim?
As I understand it, this Verizon phone it is possible to unlock it but it will only work internationally and not here in USA like on tmobile or at&t since Verizon blocked USA carriers I guess.
So I want to see if there's a custom hacked firmware or something so I can install it and work with USA tmobile? Thanks
Try this

Hello I am Greek and today I flashed my friend's Austrian n9005 the Greek stock 4.4.2 rom succesfully via odin and I wondered if I can do the same with american models such as verizon's or us celurar's or at least flash europian modems to them and work with 4g becasuse I don't know their actual hardware compatibility and many ebay sellers say that they sell "verizon n9005" or "us cellurar n9005" which tempiting from their name and price.I hope for some enlightenment to what could I choose from us ebay to save some money...

Hello all,
So I'm tempted to buy a Tim-branded S8 on Amazon.it because it's crazy cheap currently. I'm not in Italy but from what I've gathered online (and confirmed by a review on the product's page on Amazon), branding in Italy doesn't mean sim-locking so it should be usable with my local carrier. I'm in Europe anyway.
The only major difference with an unlocked phone (since it doesn't seem to have any hardware trace of the carrier) will be the software : potential TIM-related bloatware, delays for updates, etc.
My question would be : could it be possible to flash an official "clean" image, without affecting the phone and its warranty ? If so, which reference should I use ?
Thank you very much !
Yes, was going to ask if it was also sim locked.?
What county are you in and what sim do you use?
Out the box, if sim unlocked, it will work anyway.
Unless you want any advanced features.
Fw wise it's not a problem. I went the other way though, flashing EE ( UK) firmware into an unbranded unlocked BTU version to get VoLTE to work. It caused no issues.
Belgium but I guess European models pretty much have all bands available across Europe...
Thanks for the feedback !
I have the tim s8 here in the UK, flashed the h3g firmware and have WiFi calling and volte functioning without issue.

hi
Im also interested in buying a tim branded phone (https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B071RSVYSH/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A11IL2PNWYJU7H&psc=1) and was hoping if someone who has one could answer me couple of questions.
1) Does the phone have universal warranty? I mean if something was wrong with it and it needed any repair, could I just take it to a local Samsung store?
2) The model number on amazon site is G950, is that different from G950F? i couldn't find any reliable info on this..
Thanks in advance!
If the phone is designed for the European market then warranty applies regardless where you are (within Europe).
All European models are F-models.
You can flash an unbranded ROM through Odin to get rid of any branding which does not trigger Knox.
Got an AT&T phone on ebay, LMV350AWM, want to flash brazilian LMV350EAW ROM on it.
So guys, the V35 was my dream for months, and finally got an Ebay unit that fit can ship here. It's already coming.
I read that LG imported to Brazil the AT&T version, not the korean, with jut a Br ROM on it.
Will this flash work? need the unlocked bootloader for this ? or just LG software ?
You will save yourself some serious inconvenience by making sure it really is sim unlocked before flashing away from the AT&T rom. You can read about someone else's experience on that here:

Tnx for the link. I've received info that the phone is fully unlocked, and already tested in Brazilian carriers. The previous owner already lived here and used the phone here with no issues. Will keep reading about it nonetheless
Hi mate, I also got an AT&T from USA, (I live in Spain) and I flashed V350AWMH10a_05_TCL_MX_OP_0124.kdz ROM from mexican carrier Telcel.
I use patched LGUP, and it works fine. No unlock bootloader needed.
Also is an Oreo ROM, not Pie, but I prefer, because Pie Roms had problems with call recorders app.
