[noob question alert]
What does the porting realy mean? Do you take apart the other theme en copy/paste the icons into a new theme?
It looks a bit shiny..
[Qoute]Do you take apart the other theme en copy/paste the icons into a new theme? [/Qoute]
Afaik mostly yes but all roms don't have the same icons.

Yeah something like that, but it's a port of the SGH 9000i so the places of file locations differ also as the file index themselves.
Like the pulldown power activator files for excample are for the Desire GB 2.3.3 ports in the SystemUi.apk and for the Samsung in a modded Framework ...... I'm working on it.

I've just looked at the icons and the icon names are totally different.
So theres no way to just copy and paste. And to look at everyone of these 1000 icons and rename it right is to much work for me...
But try this kitchen is makes fine themes
would be great to see this in Theme Chooser fin CM7
Oops ********
Any way to see this compatible with CM7 Theme Chooser?

Thanks! That'll be great
Hi, the theme looks great after installed ... i am using GingerVillian ROM v1.5 ...
a couple of things:
- the font looks great but the size is a little too small ... pardon my poor eyesight .. but is it possible to make the font size back to normal?
- on my beautiful widget and also calendar widget, there seems to be an overlay with the original font behind the new font ...
- by the way, i am using Go Launcher if it will help ...
Overall, i still like the theme pretty much and looking forward to the complete one which will work with Theme Chooser ... Cheers.
gingervillain is based on cm7, but its not cm7 - this theme was built for cm7
some of your issues might be becuase of this.

AND STILL ADDING MORE ROMS!!!!
PLEASE, all suggestions and additions are welcomed!!
NOTE: It is my wish to edit the polls but that is not possible in the forum........
you forgot to put two great GingerBread ROMs into your list. these two ROMs are ezGingerbread and ADS Magpie, both are at my signature. ezGB is the source of many GB roms in G1, and AOSP froyo is also by ezTerry. Try out the the GB roms, very stable and fast even though still in beta
Thanks...........will add the links very soons!!!
Wow ,thanks for this post.
I'm the only voter! happy with froyo for laszlo.
That's only because the most stable and most used roms are not within the list ...

That's true, thank you, but they are not included within the poll and so you cannot vote for them ...
I think the list you're looking for is called the ROM Bible But good list. You should add the BanannaBread rom. Really good one. As well as Froyo for Trout
Please suggest ICS ROMS for my DHD based on the following features:
1) Fast and smooth
2) Minimum Bugs (if rom contains bugs please mention)
3) More RAM present
4) Looks and appearance
5) no AOSP please (liked only ice Cold rom)
6) Excellent camera and Sound
7) Best battery life
The ones I have tested are
1) ICe Cold [AOSP] - nice and smooth.
2) Blackout ICS [old 3.0 one]
3) Nik Project X v4.1 [liked the ICON theme feature]
I have seen Sabsa too has released their rom
I would like to know which ROM do you people find most pleasing and why.
Also if you tried and did not select a ROM , why not.
This question if asked a number of times. Please ignore the thread and carry on. Ill try all the roms and then decide, It will take long but
Ones on my mind:
1) ICe Cold [AOSP] - nice and smooth.
2) Blackout ICS [old 3.0 one]
3) Nik Project X v4.1 [liked the ICON theme feature]
4) Sabsa Bliss v1.0
How about you look in here --> Desire HD Android Development
You would've found what you were looking for in the time its taken you to post & me to reply
As you also mentioned this question does get asked many times, and each time the thread usually gets locked.
