Liberty v.5 problem

anyone else having issues running the liberty customizer on liberty v.5 for gingerbread? I download the 100 files, and then it runs a setup screen for ever and never loads. I let it sit for a couple of hours. Suggestions?
Charging issues, myself. Stuck at 60%, wont charge any more.
Apparently,(and what worked for me) you have to go into the SD card and delete the zip and folder and redownload. Doesn't allow me to add quick contacts still though.

delete the zip and folder for the liberty rom?
You go to your SD card and find liberty-customizer.zip and the liberty-customizer folder. Delete both of those and redownload the customizer. Its due to a possible faulty download on 3G, from what I've gathered.

It worked! Thanks everyone!

Gallery stopped working on Typhoon CM7?

Im having a problem with my hd2 and the gallery. For whatever reason the gallery does not work. I was running typhoon NAND 3.4.1 and tried updating to 3.5.1 still to no avail.
Can anyone recommend a fix? I can see the pics in the file manager, and i can take pictures... but i cant view them, they just don't show up in the gallery. It'll say loading but nothing.
This happened before the update mind you, and the update to 3.5.1 didn't help any... What is going on?

browse your sd card for .nomedia files. they prevent the gallery to scan that folders with such a file in it.
If you got one on the root on the sdcard, the whole sd card wont be scanned.
Nope, not the issue... checked, and tried another SD with same results.
Someones gotta know. This is driving me nuts.
Everything was fine till i tried to take a pix of my penis and send it to a girl the other day and my phone locked up. When it restarted no more gallery.

[Q] no option for saving attachment in stock email

I'm not able to save some attachments I receive using the stock email client. Its for work. The only option I have is "info". Which tells me I don't have an app to view the file. I have several. It won't even give me the option of downloading the attachment. I remember gmail had this option and there was a special app you could download to fix it. But none that work with stock email.
The file format: xlsm

Wrong "Insufficient storage available" warning

Hi guys,
Today I has the following problem: I saw three updates, Chrome, Facebook and Whatsapp. And after installed Chrome, both Facebook and Whatsapp informed of insufficient storage available. I checked and I had 7Gb free. Just in case I removed some videos, but I had the same message. So I rebooted the phone and both apps disappeared. Hence I installed Facebook again, without problems, but trying to install Whatsapp I received the same "insufficient storage available" message again.
Can it be a hardware problem in the flash device? Is there any way to check it?
If nothing else works I will do a full wipe and install everything again, but I want to be sure it is not a hardware problem first, and I do not know how to check.
Ideas?
I am using the latest purity ROM, with stock kernel, and some Xposed mods that I just uninstall to discard them as being the problem, but nothing changed.

Problem solved: I noticed that I was able to install other apps. So I did a search in the full partition for "whatsapp" and deleted every single file and folder named *whatsapp*. After that I was able to install the app again.

[Q] Don't get any apps from Google Playstore

Hi!
I have a Nook Color which was Modded with CM7 (on internal memory) when i bought it here in Germany. Everything was fine until all of a sudden downloads from google playstore did'nt work anymore. I tried to live with that because i used the nook mainly for watching films and got most of the apps i was interested in already.
Now i decided to get rid of this problem. I wrote back the B&N Stock Image to the internal memory to get rid of the CM7. Everything went fine and B&N Stock was running well and i registered. After that i installed a bootable linux together with CM10.1 and Google Playstore inside Zip Archive on my 32GB SD Card.
The device booted 2 or 3 times and there it was - the new CM10.1 Stable (Android 4.22)
I gave him all informations about my google account and everything went good.
But i still don't get anything out of the Playstore. The Device was supposed to re-load all previous installed apps, schould synchronize and i tried to get a new (free) app.
It just says downloading and after a while it just says error downloading xxxxxx.
Wifi Access is running good an i have no probs downloading other stuff.
What can possibly be wrong?

Those are the correct files.
Since you have this problem on both CM7 on emmc and CM10.1 on SD it sounds like a Play Store issue.
Let me describe how Play Store works and maybe you can diagnose the problem yourself. Play Store, after you log in and select an app to install, downloads the apk file and temporarily stores it on your device until it gets installed. On older versions of Play Store it downloads the file to /cache/download. On newer versions it downloads it somewhere else. I think either in /sdcard/Android or /data/data. But in any case I think Play Store is having difficulty storing the apk wherever it usually is stored.
Edit: The downloaded apk gets put in /data/data/com.android.providers.downloads/cache as downloadfile.apk
You might check to see if you have that file location.

Tried to download small game - no success. :crying:

No, not on sdcard. On /data. (Using your root file manager on the device itself, not from the PC).

Ahhh - i see.
This location does exist on the device - but there is nothing in there. (we knew in advance...)
the rights are: drwxrwx--x
I guess that's how it should be.
Any suggestions?

how can i get this information?
on the SD card (were the android system is located and also the subdir) there is 26,64 GB free.
btw: I read that hangout (ex google talk) must be installed to be able to download anything from playstore.
so they suggest if you cannot install any apps from the playstore the solution ist to install the hangout - app. But how can i install the hangout-app when i'm not able to install any app? :silly:
So i searched and found it for direct download - installed - fine !
I started it and it says that it will run only if i update google play service - which also cannot be installed because.... wtf...
don't know if i get this somewere for direct download... gotta try anyway.
edit:
found Google Play Services 4.0.30 APK from Android 4.4 KitKat
installed it - started it - it says there are no apps connected to my account (????)
tried to start hangout again - still needs ti update play services ..... which doesnt work of cause......
need to go to bed - tired - its 1:30 AM over here...
