How to install MS2ginger?

Can someone give me links ( just the links, i know the steps) to install ms2ginger 3.0 stable? There are so many files, i'm confused.

This is what you have to do: quote
For Defy with soc (green) camera and Froyo kernel: Put "MS2Ginger-Greenbread.zip*" to the root of your sdcard *This GreenbreadMod will only works with MS2Ginger3.0 (177er kernel + DFP139-Ramdisk)
Defy Defy with soc (green) camera and Froyo kernel:
(after installing MS2Ginger3Rtm of course )
1. Go to "install zip from sdcard" 2. select and install"Install "MS2Ginger-Greenbread.zip" via install zip"

[Q] Installing Android 4 on Defy (Bayer Cam)

Hi,
I recently bought a refurb Defy and was trying to install android 4 on it. I have gone through the forum but i am confused what to do.
I have rooted my phone using Superoneclick. I have installed ROM Manager from app store. But now i am stuck.I am reading posts but i am getting confused as to what to do.
The following are the defy details
Cam -Bayer
Android Version 2.2.2
Kernel Version 2.6.32.9-ga28fcc4
BuildNumber JOREM_U3.4.2_177-3
Can anybody please help me simple steps as to how to install android 4

Follow a guide on how to instal CM7 but replace the zip file with the one from a CM9 build (for the defy, not the defy+)

A How to on flashing ICS(Defy Plus Builds)
1:Head over to Stable Recovery from boot menu
2:Wipe Data (Nandroid Backup Before Doing this [optional])
3:Install Zip from SD
4:Select ur ICS(DefyPlus) zip
5:FLash
6:Flash CM9 Kernel
7:Flash Gapps zip(On first page of ICS DeV thread)
8:Clear Cache and Dalvik Cache
How To Flash ICS(Defy Builds)
1:Head Over To Stable recovery
2:Wipe Data
3:Install ZIp from SD Card
4:Select ICS(Defy) .zip
5:Flash
6:Flash CM7 Kernel
7:Clear Cache and Dalvik Cache
FIrst Boot will take some time...

I have seen lot of confused user out there asking about which kernel to flash and stuff... So here u go read below...
So our beloved Awsome Developers make two types of nightlies
1-For DefyPlus(Can Also be used on Defy(RedLens))
These are the GB/CM9 kernel builds
These are found under /cm9-nightly-defy+/ folder of the servers which we have
To install these you need to follow the TuT to install ICS Defy Plus Above...
Green Lens Camera Wont work on these(Correct me if I and wrong)
2-For Regular Defy(Do not work on Defy plus)
These are Froyo/CM7 kernel Builds
These are found under /CM9-Nightly-Defy/ folder of the servers which we have.
To install these follow the TuT to install CM9 ICS FOR Defy stated above
3-Well there is no 3rd build(There is The MileStone2 Port by Walter79,But now that we have camera on our builds that one is not usefull...)

Basically, as labsin said, you can follow the same steps of CM7 flashing guide, but changing the build with an CM9 one and adding the correct kernel. In your case, you can choose which kernel to use, because Bayer Defy is compatible with both Froyo and Gingerbread kernels.

[Q] Call Recording libs for t-mobile Stock ROM

Hi,
i'm using JOREM_U3_3.4.2_179-6.1 Stock Rom (Froyo 2.2.2)
I tried out the libs for call recording from this thread:

But my defy always stops booting at Motorola-Logo, if I install the zip-file with CWR. I also tried to install the three lib-files with root-explorer with same result.
Maybe I have to take libs from another chinese rom.
Q: How can I find out, which chinese-rom libs are compatible to my rom?

Nope this patch isn't made with that arabic script ... this tool '' arabic_script_0.907'' doesn't work for me.
There is normal arabic font in my patch and every arabic word will appear fine not just in browser or ...
this is non modified framwork of arabic stock rom, ported as is it.

[Q] Ril File (IMEI LOST)

So I know there are lot of ril files provided in XDA for sgy, there's also ril file from sir @marcussmith2626 in his thread and also I can use the ril file from Hyperion 8.
I tried to make one. I just copied the ril file from H9, the (libbrcm.so), and created a flashable zip (system/lib/libbrcm.so). I flashed it 'cause I lost my IMEI when I flashed Hell's Kernel. But the problem is even when I flashed the ril file I've made, the IMEI is still unknown.
here are the things I did :
1.Flashed H9
2. copied the libbrcm.so
3.made a ril flashable zip
4. flashed hells kernel
5. flashed the ril file (system is mounted)
Please help, correct the wrong things that I did. the IMEI is still unknown.

You are using the wrong ril file
For the rom & kernel combo you have described you need to use ril file 3 old ril from my ril thread
This is because hells fusion was made based on the old ramdisk
Hyperion 9 is based on a baseband which stock kernel uses the new ramdisk
Therefore hyperion 9 ril file is for the new ramdisk
Changing kernels to one that uses the old ramdisk you also need to change the ril file to the older file
Note older doesn't mean it's not as good - there's no difference - Just different files
The kernel doesn't contain the ril file - the rom does so I don't know why you took the ril file from the rom & flashed it - you were flashing the same ril file you already were using in hyperion 9
You needed to take the ril file from an old stock rom baseband - otherwise known as ril file 3 from my ril thread
