Yes, I see you, you sexy little thing you, teasing me with your dual core specs, super AMOLED+ screen, and accurate GPS, working that pole at the Galaxy S..tripper Cabaret.
Last time around, you sucked all the money out of my wallet. True, you screwed me afterwards, but you screwed all my friends, too, you cheap little whore. You went on to imply that you were going to always be there for me and my friends. Turns out you decided to sleep with all of Europe and the rest of the world, plying them with your gingerbread cookies, but what do I get? Not even a happy ending.
You never even came back to the States. Nope, you stayed in Europe after that plastic surgery a few months ago, showing everyone else your new facelift and big tits, giving everyone else a taste of the new you. Now that they've had their way with you, you decide to come back to the States and try to entice me.
You're out of my life, Samsung. I'm not sure even an ice cream sandwich would whet my appetite. I'm gonna go out with my new friends, HTC & LG. Hell, I might even make a bong out of an apple. But I'm not going to give you a hit, Samsung.

Very creative OP!
You should write bedtime stories for children.
As I had stated in another thread, I could not go with another brand of phone. I could certainly go with another carrier without an issue, especially with the T-mob acquisition from ATT. I will never go with ATT, nothing but bad experiences with them.
The reason I will stay with Samsung are as follows.
More local storage, more app storage, more memory, better screen, gorilla glass and finally, faster phone in general. This is my experience and from watching specs it does not seem like this will change either.
This is the experience I have had, granted I started my android foray with the Vibrant and have only used friends phones for other models to test for short whiles, rarely more than a day.

Don't get me wrong.. the iphone5 is going to be really sweet. But idk, i have an ipod and an ipad.. the UI can get boring as all it is a is a big app drawer ui. The apps are DEF an advantage, but I see more and more ios apps coming to android.
Pass. But if it's good for Sprint and not bad for their network, hope people are happy. An iPhone right now would actually be a big step down from my Epic, for all kinds of reasons. Android forever (translated from Geek: for the foreseeable future until they **** us folks ;-) ).
Its way to early to tell if this is a bad thing(maybe not, since they're raising prices allready) but I really hope its not and it gets sprint some needed leaverage.

I have casually tried both iPhone 4 and iPads and never received the impression that they were better spec-ed than the latest Android or even Windows equivalents. Now that Apple is at war with basically anyone who isn't them in tech world, I think they will consistently lose any raw horsepower race (Samsung may not want to sell to them anymore for one). Maybe they will retain an edge in usability for some people, but they are the design kings, as long as you don't despise iTunes like I do, and price gouging.
I'm jumping with my wife. I started on AT&T and iPhone then moved to sprint because cost of the plan. I've seen both sides and so far you can't beat the stability and battery if your willing to drink Steves koolaid!
Looks like I finally made up my mind about what my next phone is going to be. Iphone 5 is it. I was gonna get the Epic Touch but quickly remembered the fact that my phone is on 2.2.1 in an era where Android is at 2.3.6, and how frustrating the Gingerbread leaks have been so far. Not to forget the fact that Samsung doesn't even have the courtesy to share their source code or drivers so that we can create our own up to date roms. I'm never dealing with Samsung again. It's been a nightmare.

As opposed to how up to date Apple keeps their phones. With Apple you don't even have to worry about late updates. Ios frees you from that hassle. You have great, fast, stable, low latency audio software, and you can jailbreak your phone and customize it as much as Android in terms of appearance and functionality. Plus you have much more games and apps. Can't lose.

How in the world could anyone leave a super AMOLED screen for an LCD? Samsung has the best camera and the best video player out there. I realize they aren't the best in regards to updating their firmware, but yikes. Samsung has the best hardware, hands down. I don't think I could ever leave them.

A good friend of mine just upgraded from the Incredible to the Incredible 2 and the only thing I like about it is the front facing camera. Other than that, it's MEH. The screen size is smaller than (or same size as) Fascinate, the speed doesn't seem to be any different, they are still using the LCD, crappy 1 Gig of phone memory, shipped with a small SD card... I'd take a stock, bloated Fascinate over the I2 any day... much less my fully customized, sweetly configured piece of artwork.
Bottom Line: The Fascinate is still one of the best out there, it's an amazing phone that is easy to use with great results. My kids watch movies on it all the time, the screen rocks! Games play flawlessly most of the time and it's just a very nice piece of hardware.
I do wish good ole VZW hadn't jumped away from the GalaxyS II. Now my future plans for an upgrade later this year are going to be put on indefinte hold because I really prefer Samsung.
its sad that the samsung phones tend to need modding to show their true potential, nice phones out-of-the-box, but nowhere near their potential till you start modding.
I am on hold for my upgrade as well to see what verizon will do, may have to change carriers if they dont come up with something from verizon to replace my fassy
I have a funny twist to this story, I have an inc2 but will be switching to a fascinate in a few days, unless my wife wants it. I just want a new toy to play with and it looked like a good phone and I didn't wanna pay 350 for a replacement of her inc 2 she broke, so I ordered a fascinate. I have been reading these forums, and the terminology seems different and some things are new to me "whats this odin thing lol" but I'm really excited to mess with it and try stuff out as I have already done/tried everything available for the inc 2 since it came out. Lat time I traveled in Europe I had three! One for my Oz account with my email / WiFi & contacts, one for my UK / Europe account (because Oz account charge a fortune over there in most countries), and one Sat Phone for use when I was at sea in the Med.
It got so bad I almost gave it all up and went of a Sat Phone all the time, but the reception is useless inside any building.
My neighbors jaw dropped lookin @ my phone..
Funny, I keep explaining to others comparing the same with iPhone, for me its my first Android phone, and I am running ICS and end up showing stuffs pretty much and there will be a crash or something crazy..!! lolz, though after two days I feel other phones are so tiny.
Now imagine this: i show my note and everyone asks:" how much did it cost? " and i simply say:" it was free... Won it in a contest on Stuff.tv site"
And everyone thinks this: Damn you bastard... I never win anything!
And guess what? I already made new friends because of it LOL

The only stranger who ever gave my Note more than a moment's glance was a guy I was sitting beside in a seminar. I was using it both to take notes and record audio, while he was using his GS2 to record, and one of the Galaxy Tabs (I think 8.9) to take notes. He was looking over to it constantly, surely with the thought that it must be a great combination of the two devices.
As far as non-strangers are concerned, my wife (an iPhone 4 user) is jealous about damn near everything I've shown her on it. She might end up with the pink or white Note.
I was really surprised with the amount of positive feedback that people gave to the note, including iPhone users etc.
Something interesting I noticed was that at my campus there seem to be a lot of folks with a phone+iPad or phone+playbook or any other tablet etc. (even my gf falls into this category). It just seems sort of silly to me to carry around two devices everywhere.
To be fair, though, I would never use the Note as a primary note-taking device, and have definitely seen iPad users use their devices for this purpose. Like some other users have mentioned, a 6" screen would be just fine in my book, as long as it still made calls.
However, if I didn't have a stereo bluetooth headset I would notice the size of it when using as an actual phone much more...
Ha. How about this one, I was on the phone with the Note on Thursday afternoon in the foyer of our business complex (talking to ATT nonetheless) and saw a Guy walk past me looking right at the phone and is massive size up to my ear and COMPLETELY forgot to open the door to go outside and slammed right into it.

There were close to 10 million S3s presold in the Eu launch, think about what that will number be in the USA. Is there any wonder that all these shortages are happening? I compared my wifes iphone 4S to my S3 and the screen of the S3 is pretty much the size of her phone its like the inphone display belongs on a watch or something, any wonder why they are selling them faster then they can crack the whip in Shenzhen?

Me: Dials friends phone number
Siri: Are you sure you want to speak to him?
Me: Yes
Siri: Remember the argument you had last week?
Me: Yes, but we worked it out.
Siri: I do not think it would be in your best interest for you to talk to him.
Me: It's OK, I want to go see a movie and he loves that movie.
Siri: What movie?
Me: The Avengers
Siri: Oh, I do not think you should see that movie, Apple does not have any interests in that franchise.
Me: Yeah, whatever.
Siri: OK, if you are going to see the movie, I will not take part.
Me: Siri, unlock the phone.
Siri: I can't do that.
Me: I want to see the movie times.
