Problem on my HTC Vogue (Touch) device running Not so super Froyo RLS 17 : When I move an App to the SD Card, everything works correctly but as soon as I reboot the phone, the app disapear from the drawer and when I go back to the SD card it shows as ''com.appname.origin.whatever'' and the app can't be moved back to the phone as if it was corrupt, I supposed. Which needs for me to redownlad the app and NOT to move it to the Sd Card .... which is not a problem solved as ''stock rom'' with only the essential leave me with about 70MB of free space .... Any Idea?
Thanks in advance everyone

Everytime.. I format my sd, download a build, extraxt to desktop, mount to root of sd, run clrcad and haret, And all i get is a 'jumping to kernal (custom) and freezes or just a frozen htc screen.or a boot loop.. I am running a energy rom for windows someone plz help
Ok by 'mount to root of sd', do you mean that you're putting the Android folder at the root of your sd, or you are taking everything that's inside the Android folder to the root of your sd?
The folder itsself goes to the root of your sd card, with all the files such as zImage, Haret, etc. inside of it.
Other than that, are you using a launcher like Exceller's or anything, or are you launching by tapping CLRCAD and Haret in your file explorer?
Try it from file explorer til you get the build up and running a good couple of times.
Is your radio a XXX.XX.50.XXX radio, or is it a XXX.XX.51 ?
You need a 50. (2.08 and up) To check, boot your phone up and look at the little red info down in the corner as it boots up. The radio is next to the 'R'
If you already have all these things correct, I would say to try a new sd card.
Hope this helps, good luck
You have to flash a working radio version first

Format your SD card in WinMo by the way, seems to be more effectice.
What radio do you have? It's the most obvious thing that would cause this problem and you haven't told us yet.
thanks for help everyone turns out my sd card was messed up from all the formatting i guess... Bought a new sd and im back in business.. Life sucked without android **** windows mobile lol
I recently installed Android on my phone.
And now I am getting an error if I run a application. ( This does not happen with all applications. )
The error I am getting is:
Slice It! ( Game I downloaded from the Android Market. )
-----
Sorry!
The application Slice It!( procescom.com2us.sliceit ) has stopped unexpected.
Try Again.
-----
This also happens with other apps.
I have found a fix for this error and that is to move the app from my SDcard to my phone.
But some apps on my SDcard work so I was wondering is there a fix for this so I can put all apps on my SDcard so that my phone's internal storage does not get full.

Info op my phone:
HTC HD2
Android 2.3.2
MDJ's CyanogenMod 7 (v. 2.6) A2SD+
Is there something I could not explain well or is it something else?
Anyone???
Maybe some apps moved to SD card, look in application settings.
If they did, just move them back to phone ;-P
Please Help!
I just started having issues like this myself. Seems like half my apps give me an error. Doesn't matter if they're on phone or sd. Started after I put in a different sd with a new android rom in it. Ginger _bread. But it would get stuck after some cyanogen mod7 animation would finish followed by an option box asking to click to install by com.android....or some other option. Either way it would just freeze on that screen. So installed my other sd card with darkstone froyo 2.2. First thing it did was asking me to tap on android to get started. Did so and skipped all the other prompts. Then it continued to load all my apps as normal but with the exception that a lot of the apps where giving me pop up errors asking to force close them. Its driving me mucking cuts! Should I reformat my sd and start from scratch? Sorry for the long explanation. Thanks in advance.

The only problem if I do that is that the internal storage of my phone gets full.
And after a while I get messaged like "Internal Storage full".
Is there maybe a way to give the internal storage a bigger capacity?
hi everyone,
i installed the XBmod Version 1.04* and when i switched the phone on it kept rebooting...so i removed the sd card and wp7 could boot normal.
i even did all the steps which were explained here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=912218
but nevertheless the phone keeps telling me that i don't hav any memory space ( i inserted the card again..and now i can switch the mobile off and on again..and everything boots normal)..did i do something wrong or does wp7 doesn't like my card(Kingston 16GB class 4) ??
the problem is, that i can use everything normal, the marketplace, internet, contacts, sms, camera, everthing functions perfect..but i can only make maybe 5 pics and then it always says, that my memory space is full..
pls help!!
I'm sorry if this has been asked already but I'm really new to all of this, I recently put the cyanogens rom on my HD2 and everything works fine but for some reason I can't download apps on the marketplace because it says Insufficient Space on device but I have a 16gig sd and 555mb still left on my internal?
go to your apps from the settings and move them (start with the largest) one by one to the sd card.

I've done that but for some reason it still says I don't have enough space is there anyway to make the sd the default place where marketplace downloads go to?
search the market for app2sd, you'll be notified each time you can move a new installed app to sd
Same issue
Im having the same issue. My phone says that i have used 19mb and i have 768mb free on the internal storage. But when i try to install something i get an out of space error. This is the first time that ive had this issue. ive gone as far as wiping everything with task 29 and starting over with a new rom. same issue. Any ideas?
Try to install a rom with ext support and create ext 2 partition with cwm recovery in magldr , it will work i think.
That could help:
1. Reboot into CWM Recovery
2. Advanced\Fix Permissions
3. Reboot
I have swapped to this ROM:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1912740
and suddenly it's reporting that my SD card is damaged. I have been using this card for a long time through multiple ROMs without any issues. Looking at the thread, I'm not finding anyone with my problem so far, so it could be something more general.
I did a clean install (wiped all user data and everything). Reformatted the card - no luck. Tried another SD card (an old 1GB micro SD) - still keeps saying "SD Card is Damaged". When I say "OK" and tell the ROM to format it, nothing happens--I get the SD Damaged message back.
Not sure if my ROM installed poorly or I'm having some odd compatibility issues.
Tried formatting from Clockwork mod too - formats successfully, but upon entering the ROM, I get the "Damaged SD" error.

The ROM is installed to NAND with the ODEX thing included (built into the ROM installer options). Just did another factory reset / data clear / reformat / ROM reinstall - still showing that SD card is damaged =/ I guess it's something in the ROM, as it's never been an issue before.
Edit: Solved.. I formatted the SD card in my friend's phone, which has a different version of a CM ROM. Works fine in mine now... odd...
Another SD "broke"
Ok, so now we installed an Android ROM onto the other phone (Paranoid Android for HD2 this time - NAND installation), and the Damaged SD card message is popping up again - with another SD card... that was also working perfectly fine through multiple other ROMs before (is this something JB ROMs seem to break?.. Hard to believe it's a coincidence).
So now I can't fix this second SD card. Tried formatting on my computer - no luck. Formatted in Clockwork recovery - no luck. Trying to format it inside the ROM gives a message that the system is analyzing the card to format it, then nothing happens, and the "Damaged SD" message pops up again... so basically it's not getting formatted. This is on both phones now. I was able to fix the first SD card on an older version of an ICS Android ROM, but as that ROM is no longer installed (bugged out completely, hence trying new ROMs now), both of our phones can't format my card.
Any other way to do this? I really don't understand why the card gets messed up for these JB ROMs, and don't know how to fix it at this point.
For completeness, I did run chkdisk on the card, and it's operating fine, no errors. It works just fine connected as USB storage through MAGLDR, I can install ROMs from it and everything. It just appears corrupted as soon as I enter my Android ROMs.
Use Windows on pc and do slow full format
