Hello,
This is for GB S5830XXKPH 2.3.4
I've followed the tutorial for deodexed the SystemUI.apk
Here is the one modified by me. I've deleted the notification of full charge Sounds and Vibrations and Lighting screen
You will need to change permission to 644 (RW/R/R) with a soft like root explorer.
Once you did it, just replace the file in System/app
Greetings from France
can we have any screenie?
It's not my phone, it's the one of my wife.
I've tested it, the notification is disable so you will see nothing during all the time your phone is plugged. Once and only once you unplug your phone and the battery is full, it says the battery is full unplung it and the notification stops.
Try it if you want...
Normally it will alert with sound?
Normally you have a notification sound+vibration that tells you to unplug your charger when your battery is full. And it says it each 15min or something like that (I remember it on sam galaxy S)
It doesn't for me. Maybe it's built in coderom. I sleep through the full charge.
Don't have that either, only a notification that it's done charging, without vibration and only once, which I can turn off by silencing system sounds.
Could you please post the full steps? thanks.
Simply go to Soundsettings -> Volumes and set the system notification sounds to zero.

Hi, The HTC P3400i which I purchased recently is only 8 days old, in which I am facing some problems as described below:
The skin of phone keypad automatically turns gray, while at the starting it is in sync with the phone theme;
Battery drained automatically, today morning it was on 84% and suddenly it reached on 52%, while during this time I never touched the phone as I was sleeping;
Sometimes it happens that somebody is trying to call me but he hears the message that the subscriber is out of coverage area, while the phone is on. I tried this myself and heard the same. Then I restart the device and everything start working normally.
Alarm notification sound is so slow that the person can't hear it while sleeping, can it be increased
Can somebody please help me on these issues?

1. The skin of the phone turns grey, If any of the themes is changed. (If it is not green). Just change the theme to Windows Default and try again.
2. The battery might be having some problem. Try to replace the battery.
3. Remove the memory card. Go to settings->System->Clear storage....
4. Alarm notifications sound is based on the device volume.....Try to keep the device volume in full.
5. Reduce the brightness of the phone. That will drain the battery a lot
I have been searching but cant find anywhere how to remove the 100% battery full indicator icon that shows up in the notification bar. It is really annoying and I want to try and pull it out. I am running stock JK6, any suggestions??
Thanks!
well to be fair, its not nearly as annoying as the full charge pop up window present on the JFD build. with that said, I haven't seen anything regarding removing or blocking the notification, but obviously it goes away automatically when you unplug the phone, so its not terrible.
Got a weird problem with my AT&T stock non-rooted S4. About 4 or 5 times since I got it on release day when I charge my phone and I get the notification that it's fully charged the screen won't turn back off. I use a Belkin Conserve socket that is set to shut off after 3 hours and I've woken up after charging to find the phone dead. I've managed to catch this happen once and when the fully charged notification comes on the screen won't go to sleep, it just stays on and flickers a little bit. For all but one of these instances I had blocking mode on so I'm not disturbed by email or text notifications in the middle of the night. It did happen one time when I didn't have blocking mode on. I use a pin lock for my lockscreen and usually have BeyondPod playing overnight (only one hour long podcast while it's still charging) if that makes a difference. Is the function that enables the screen to stay on when you're looking at it malfunctioning? Any help? I've attached two screenshots of battery life when this happens.

So in settings under the Developer Options, there is a setting "Stay awake" if checked screen will never sleep while charging. Now I see that your Belkin shuts off the power but your phones still detects the usb plugged into a power source.
I think things happen in this order: you hookup your phone to charge and shut off your screen, phone charges to 100% and screen lights up saying fully charged, it stays on because of that setting, Belkin kills the power, it is still hooked up to USB so ... you get the rest.
I would find that setting and disable it.
if your next question is "I don't see developers option" it is hidden by default in android 4.2.2 so to make it available, go to Settings > About phone and tap tap tap Build number seven times. Return to the previous screen to find Developer options. Or Indiana Jones might pop up and give you the cup to get eternal life !!!
Thanks for the reply Commodore64 but I already checked that setting when it happened the first time and it's not checked.

I have this problem as well as my wife's S4. around 3am, I notice our room is bright with our two phones' screens on. It will stay on until the morning.
In the developer's section of the settings, the stay on when plugged in is NOT checked.
Also, on our phones, we notice the phones overheating because the screen is on for hours at a time at night.
I've just spent an hour looking through the internet, and while many report this, they are simply being dismissed by others as in having "checked" the setting in developer section.
Also, when the batttery does get fully charged, the "Battery if full, unplug the power" notification also rings the default notification ringtone. I've installed phoneweaver to set my phone to no sound overnight, but it only stops the sound, the screen still stays on and phone gets really hot.
This is turning out to be a huge problem for us.

Do you use a PIN (number) lock? I did but switched to the pattern unlock and it hasn't happened since. Also, I've been trying to charge only during the day or evening, not overnight. Maybe, since I charge during the day and I use it periodically while it charges it doesn't go into a "deep sleep" like it would if it charges while sleeping and the full charge notification would keep it awake. I don't know exactly why but it hasn't happened since. Hope this helps.

For whatever it's worth, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48871706#post48871706 - maybe that will be helpful.
Yeah.
The battery went from 100-98-96 very fast...no matter what rom I tried...I though there was some virus in LeEco rom or something...until device flashed with Madsurfer rom and xprivacy installed.
Still don't know what change but get 18hours and if didn't use a vpn, get a day perhaps after trying out madsurfer rom with xposed and xprivacy. Maybe there is some background virus or unstable process in the rom. Or the device was bugged by the online store...dunno for sure...but battery life improved for sure after.
In xprivacy, have advanced setting to restrict system also turned on and fake data set.
Or maybe after device charged a few times, the battery improved?
Mokee rom is good but still with that rom there was battery problems.

Try "Factory Default"
or "Reinstall the rom as new" from twrp.
I have a problem after install Madsurfer ROM too. But now, i installed stock china 21s ROM and the problem remains. I left phone for charging, after 6 hours it charged about 50%, when i go to sleep it was about 14% and when i woke up it was 68% or something like that. I don't know what's going on. Maybe i should try battery calibration in TWRP?
QFJEUXM 11.0.4.0
I get a notification when battery comes down to 10%. However, it can still run an hour or two
But then, when the battery really empties down, phone immediately turns of without any warning
This is totally inconvenient, on Huawei I was accustomed to get a another notification like "Your phone is empty, it will turn off in 30 seconds" which is enough to click Send or to find a charger or something
Looking around the Settings in MIUI, I cannot find any option to enable such notification
you don't see % of battery? that's sad that you can't plug in on time.
you can download app and set warning levels - search for low battery alert in store

Not looking all the time to the small top-rigjt battery percentage status
But ok, will search for apos on Store.
Sad that MUII is dtill missing a number of built-in usability features
