Yes, there's a whole section for themes.
And one post is enough:

No, he's not a hater, he's telling you to follow the rules. Three threads is just obnoxious.
And considering that you didn't give information about what rom you're running, we don't know what themes are compatible. People don't answer if you don't give enough information. If you're running Sense, try the Evo Themes and Apps section. If you're on AOSP, there's a ton in the Android Themes section. You have to pick something that is compatible with your rom.

1) If you were really trying to "get good themes", you should've looked for them yourself. That's why there are sections filled with them.
2) Being "new to this" is not an excuse. There are plenty of people "new to this" that are perfectly capable of finding their own information and following the rules.
3) I have no issues with "noobs", and I don't mind answering questions for people who are just getting started with a rooted Evo.
My issues lie with those that feel they're entitled and everything should be handed to them, or that the rules don't apply to them.
4) They aren't my rules, they're the forum rules. You should've read them when you became a member. Here's a few that you need to keep in mind:
Rule #1: Search before posting.
Rule #3: Post only using a clear subject and message.
Rule #5: Post a message only once.
5) I'll try really hard to remember to not read your posts, as I know that they'll most likely be a request for someone else to search for you. Unfortunately I try to help people out while I'm browsing the forums, so I'm sure I'll come across your posts again. When you have a legitimate question because you couldn't be bothered to read about what you were doing, I'll be happy to keep the answer to myself.
6) Being more specific is a great idea. People can't help you if you don't give them information. And thanks for the compliment, I like to think that I'm smart and it's nice to hear it from someone else. My self-esteem thanks you.

This whole thread and OP is pointless. You ask for people to help, they do..but not in the way you like so you get all bisnitchy about it...wow
I'd like to have this thread be dedicated to all the veterans in honor of Veterans Day. Remember this. These men and women fought and sacrificed for what they believed in and that deserves more honor and respect than they can get in one day. Thank them every chance you get. If it weren't for them you wouldn't be where you are and have the freedoms you have today. I'm sure there are others and I'd like to hear from them to thank them as well but ones I know we should all give a thanks to is wildstang and jermaine. Not just for their great work they've given us ..... Because they wanted to.... But for their service to this country.... Because they wanted to. Thanks bro's for everything. Happy Veterans Day today and every day.
Hopefully these guys among others will post in this thread. When they do I hope every respectful one of you hits their thanks button .... It's the very least you can do.

Help to XDA Dev " task650 " whose FIVE YEARS OLD DAUGHTER WAS DIAGNOSED with CANCER

I've made announcements as to why there hasn't been any updates lately in all of my threads bro. I haven't had the time due to my 5 year old daughter being diagnosed with cancer. We've recently started her treatments. There will be updates coming sometime soon. Every time I think I get a chance I end up having to deal with more important issues lately.

The reason of this post is to raise the awareness among the XDA users about the "task650" situation . I am asking YOU an XDA user or visitor to donate as much money as you can to the "task650. "
His baby girl is diagnosed with cancer and I want YOU to help her to fight this uneasy battle! The medical treatments for her sickness are very expensive and by donating even ONE dollar, YOU will help this five years old girl to win over the cancer! I am not writing this on behalf of "task650, " it is my personal initiative! Being as a member of XDA forums and Android community in general, I feel that it is my responsibility to help the people who are in need as never before.
Here is the link for donations:
Paypal donation email: [email protected]
To "task650": brother, your daughter will get better, especially when there are so many people who are praying for her! Please forgive me for my personal initiative if I offended you by any means!

I begged The_Scotsman for an Off-Topic subforum for the Epic but was told no other device has that and they were not going to start a precedent here. There is one general off-topic thread for Android and that's it. So we are stuck with off-topic posts in General. Shouldn't prevent people from helping out though.

It takes requests to head moderators to have a new forum made. There is a main off-topic forum here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=261
But I don't think you will get the exposure this needs. It is more troublesome when 10 people make new threads on "How to stop OTA notifications" rather than threads like this but that doesn't seem to irritate the same people as a single thread like this does.
Thanks for informing us of this terrible situation. Hopefully XDA as a whole can have a bigger impact on this little girl and her family, than we will ever know!
sent the few dollars i had left on my paypal balance. Hope it helps.

Don't post them in the first place is the easy answer. Call me crazy but when I come to the Epic General section I expect to read about general epic topics not some vote for me threads, help me with my family issues I created, or donate to me, etc. All the nonsense just drives folks away.
I am sorry, but all I see in this thread is a lot of heartless, selfish assholes.
The subject of the thread CLEARLY indicated that it is not related to your device, so guess what... DON'T OPEN IT. Real simple. Instead you come in here to *****.
I wish the best to task650 and his family.

No kidding! I understand getting frustrated by an off topic post from time to time, but when it is something like this, deal with it. XDA is supposed to be a community. I don't know about you, but in my "communities" we help others when we can. Like the Milkman said, the title was very clear. If the topic is of no interest to you, keep it moving.
Oh don't mind Digiblur, he punches homeless people in the face for asking him for food. The nerve of them interrupting him while he is walking. That is not what he started out walking for.
What the heck is wrong with you people! I bet if it was your son/daughter you'd have NO PROBLEM with this thread being here! Give the dude a break alright he is trying to help this guy, who can clearly use if nothing else some support.... people like y'all is why this country is going down the toilet and it makes me sick... but keep posting its cool... alls your doing is keeping it near the top of the first page, and for that, thanks!

I get where this guy comes from, he has a point. Then again, just like with EVERY other friggin post that the resident forum police go into to talk their crap... if you don't like it, don't fking click it! Don't read it! Most of all, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all!
Its not hard.
Man That sucks if I had a job I would donate. But for the guy who thinks there needs to be a different spot for this thread then contact the admin of the forum and ask for an entire Subforum for Charities.

I feel like the way sites like this and rw hide this device are preventing development. What is it going to take to change the way this device is hidden? Will more people whining and driving up the post count help? That is a completely serious question about why we are ignoring a device with great hardware and an unlocked bootloader.

Gross. If I get an infraction for posting a free, useful site that doesn't require registration in a thread that is buried and rarely used, then this site is backwards. I'm not worried about it. There are devs that create their own forums and link to them in their signature with no problems.
There is whining and demanding in every thread, so that's kind of a lame excuse. The Amaze thread, 70% of the members/devs are whiners lol. People really need to get off their high horse. If devs don't like questions, then they don't have to answer. All of this flaming and infractions is ridiculous. Even more preposterous are those that worry about infractions for doing nothing wrong. Lol

man this is android this is open source we sapose to be out law hackers not buster lame rule following nerds im sorry ill never forgive xda for their arrogance and their disrespect for pripaid androids and the weired pickness with great devices like the thrive.
im not hating on all the big devs on here because they are people just like all of us but when they take points for posting comments and links to other websights.when theirs no out reach to us little guys and theirs no offer to help i ask you why do the boys think they desurve the respect of men,and why do they think they deserve our donations i say to any dev out their that whines on here i say dont donate to these devs just take their softwere and dont thank them, maby they will learn some respect.
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!
Lack of development due to lack of developers with the device. More exposure happens when more developers have the device.
Closing thread.
I want to give a shout out to all our great devs in our beloved forum. Thank you for everything you guys do for our little community. We know you guys work hard at your roms, tweaks etc, and it shows. Without you we wouldn't have such fantastic stuff to put on our phones. Thanks again.

Well... Considering that this is an unnecessary thread in the wrong section... It seems that you are in the wrong.
The gesture is appreciated, but it is not necessary to make a thread about it. Just hit the thanks button, donate, PM, etc.
Making a thread in the wrong section and it being unnecessary is clutter.
I am not trying to be a ****, it's just how stuff works here at XDA. Please refrain from posting completely unnecessary threads, especially in the wrong sections.

OK, shout out given. Let's close this one down before it goes south.
The easiest way to give a Dev a shout out for their efforts is the Thanks button and/or considering a donation.
If you want to do more than that, many of the projects can use bug reports and feedback as well (in the appropriate ROM thread.)
Thanks!
