I have a question, as Im trying to build for my self a ROM. I using JPS as the base but it doesnt have desired keyboard language when the other one (my old stock rom) has it. Is there a way of moving that keyboard to that ROM? I tried moving the keyboard app but it didnt work.

U can use other keyboards(gingerbread keyboard, smart keyboard....) But if ur from asia, there wont be ur language. You would have to install asian firmware

heya guys.
yesterday i decided to flash stock 6.5 rom version 1.37.728.3 and to my suprise the built-in camera app is either gone or not even available on this rom. how can i get it back?
i want to flash this rom because it has the keypad input that i'm used to. rom version 1.28.707.3 has the camera built-in app but it only has qwerty input. and i don't want to flash 6.5.5 which has both camera app and keypad input. hated the bottom start and those big buttons.

done. still no camera app. i THINK i may have flashed the rom that was made for cameraless Mega.
edit: i got the stock rom from shipped-roms. RUU_Mega_hTC_Asia_SEA_2G_WWE_1.32.729.3_Radio_Signed_61.48t.25.33_3.50.25.15_Ship.exe.
get the one in my sig.the best stock.
does it has the keypad input? because most 1.28xxxxxx roms only has qwerty input.
lol, it has full QWERTY, half QWERTY and phone keypad options.

but mind you, it has no camera application inside since the rom came from Non-Camera Mega.
i've flash with RUU_Mega_hTC_Asia_SEA_WWE_1.37.728.3_Radio_Signed_61.55t.25.38_3.54.25.25_Ship.exe. it also have no camera in it. can anyone copyout the camera and the video cab out

I was looking for the solution but couldn't find one. Now i have CM6 rom on my tattoo and seems that there is only one keyboard type when writing sms which is qwerty. When i bought the phone i remember that there was opportunity to change between qwerty and normal mobile phone keyboard type ( i dont know how it is called). My question is: Is it possible to change the keyboard type in this rom ? Or maybe there is a software or something like that to do that ? Thanks.
I suppose you have SPQRom installed. This rom has android keyboard, but the stock htc rom has Touch input, which suppord different keyboard types.
You can use this keyboard in SPQRom. It's called htc_ime and you can find it on stock htc rom. You can just install it. For me works fine.

Thanks. But it keeps crashing all the time... as soon as i choose new input method i get forced closure of the program.. Maybe it doesnt work on tattoo ?
Strange, cause I'm using this rom(0.4.1 version) and I've installed several times above file, and I never had problems. In fact today, after a restore, I installed it again and works fine.

I know it may be a good ROM, but Vantoman's ROM is arabic.

Ask Vantoman to fix it! maybe other 1.6 devs will help him if he needs help.

bluetooth doesn't work beacause of SENSE UI in vantom rom
Nope, the bluetooth problem is in the Android 1.6. Chtlhu's ROM is 1.6 and bluetooth file transport works.
Ask Chtlhu, maybe he has the code.
i installed chlthu 1.7.how can send and reserve files?

no man, the problem is htc framework and its sense ui!!! bluetooth works in Xperia x10 with android 1.6
Look my friend, Chthu fixed it WITH Sense UI. And Sony Ericson must have ficed it too.

my friend i installed blutooth file transfer.apk in chthu 1.7 but cant transfer files!help me plz
i thing for add this langs tho this rom most edit this files:
libwebcore.so
and
libskiagl.so
i tested kalim's rom and this supported arabic and persian langs.

I select file and choice (send via bluetooth)in bluletooth file transfer.apk
but
when i click on finded device give this erorr (in 1,7 and 2):
can't start "object push profile"
(obex pop) service search search
reason
return valus is "fals"
are you test this two roms ?and are you can transfer file with bt ?
I do a full wipe before flashing
Guess you will have to flash 2.0.

I'm kinda new here but looking arround for a while and have a question
After upgrading my SGS to 2.3.3 (Belgian release, updated via KIES and still original) I lost the Cyrillic language (Russian) in the phone system for the text input. I tryed some custom keyboards from the market but because this language is out of my system these don't work too.
Is there some way to get the Cyrillic language back into my phone's system white out using a custom rom because I would like to keep my device original.

I do not wanna flash nor use another firmware on my device. Only looking for a possebility to get back the Cyrillic (Russian) language into the device's system.

Unless you flash a firmware which contains the system language, the simple answer is no. Sorry
I have installed the Handsent SMS app. together with the Gingerbread Keybord from the market and problem solved!

firstly my phone hd2 leo and i want to use roms whichs ver 4.0.x
but all i tried roms aren't support Turkish language support in keyboard guess. So i have to use 3rd party keyboards which i dont want..
is there anything that i can copy to system which contains my language support.
i love typing message but 3rd party apps usually aint usefull with roms i tried.
if there is a way could you help me with this problem. thx..
I'm using this ROM IceCreamTosti v1.0 PE by Xylograph and it's come with multiling keyboard which also has Turkish keyboard.
U might have to try this ROM.

i was trying to add Turkish language to this rom
meaning it doesnt suppert my language, cant make any guess when i am typing.
creator(s) of this rom might prepare for support but no support yet. they have enough work to do so i dont want to disturb them.
